After meeting with @HulkHogan, due to circumstances beyond our control - @TheAcesAnd8s vs. Mafia 5 on 5 match is delayed until 8/22 Impact.

What a joke. This is what is making TNA crap. Why is it "Beyond their control" because of Kurt Angle? Why cant they get someone who isn't doing anything to join the match? What about James Storm? Longtime target of Aces and Eights and a believable threat due to him being the Tag Champ?

That makes sense, but it's pretty lame (though understandable) to not mention it until the night of the show. Also, as of 2:45 there's no reference to the switch on Impactwrestling.com. This is daft. Surely they can find a replacement for Angle if that's the case. And wouldn't he still be in rehab on the 22nd anyway? Just stick to your schedule and always have a contingency when shit hits the fan like it has here. Otherwise you'll just look like a joke.

Anyway, I think Abyss is a logical replacement for Angle. He and Devon were feuding over the Television Belt before it was dropped and the Joseph Park character was part of the A&8's feud.

No because that is a circumstance that is under their control. They control when it is. Are you sure they are both taped the same night? What else except the Angle situation could it be?

They already have Chris Sabin vs Bully Ray - World Heavyweight Championship - Steel Cage match this week, so I think its good to postpone the match.

Why not save the big match for next week? Good decision in my opinion.

They could be using Hardcore Justice as a chance to "write off" Angle and find his replacement. When it's taped then they have their replacement wrestle in his place. Now as for who the replacement is, I'd have no clue. No one really stands out as a clear choice.

The problem may be that Angle was to take the pin, thereby leaving TNA. With ol' Kurt in rehab, they may be forced to change the stipulation. Or stop everyone from trying to do the job.
