Ugh. Drowning Pool. Yet ANOTHER terrible, terrible band. Christ I didn't realize how utterly terrible half of the music from the 90s & 00s has been so far. Thanks for reminding me Drowning Pool.

Shitty nu-metal band who made it big off of "Bodies", then the lead singer died, and now suddenly people think they're a great band. No. No, they're not. They're just awful. Nothing they do is redeeming in any way shape or form. But I can understand why people would vote for them; alot of people here seem to enjoy horrible recycled nu-metal.

Bad Religion on the other hands are fucking amazing. They've gone through 3 decades of punk and all of it's stylistic changes, and managed to become a huge band at that. They went from barely being able to fill a VFW Hall in the early 80s to selling out arenas around the world. Thats not even mentioning their music's change.

I love their earlier stuff, How Could Hell Be Any Worse? is one of the best hardcore albums to EVER be released. Classic examples of their earlier, hardcore sound are great songs like "White Trash" and "We're Only Gonna Die", which was later covered famously by Sublime on 40 Oz. to Freedom. From there they branched out, taking in the burging alternative rock and college rock scene around the country, and tuning themselves into fantastic musicians who could play any style of music, but preferred punk.

If you vote for Drowning Pool over Bad Religion, odds are that you ate paint chips as a kid. That's the only explanation I could find feasible.
