Aw, what a terrible draw for Ted.

I liked the Fresh Prince. It was a great show and Will Smith really impressed me in it. In fact, one could argue that he really lunched his fantastic career off of this show and with good reason. He was a fantastic performer in this show and really started something great every time that now so familiar theme song started. However, I am going to vote for Father Ted. I have made it my mission to support it as far it can possibly go and I am in no doubts that Father Ted should give the Fresh Prince a run for it's money here. I got the box set for Christmas and words cannot describe how happy I was to slide it into the disk drawer and just start watching. It really is a brilliant show with fantastic characters and personalities. Ardaal O'Hanlon, Dylan Moan, Graham Norton all launched successful careers off of this show and it is such a shame that it had to stop prematurely. Nevertheless, I think it has done enough to warrant my vote here and I am happy with it.

Father Ted FTW!

Fresh Prince of Bel Air gets my vote here. I have never seen Father Ted and don't want to take anything away from it but when I was growing up I grew up on Fresh Prince. It easily was the groundwork for my love of Will Smith in Hollywood and was just a plain and simple great family show. Anyone could watch and enjoy it. It did not just pander to one demographic like many shows.

Do the right thing and vote Fresh Prince.

Cant believe I am only tying it up here, but after the disappointing show of The Fresh Prince and the good performance of Father Ted. The Fresh Prince was good as a kid, but it is still a good show if I were to watch it today. Again, Like Futurama, there is the one episode that always makes me cry a little, when Will is show, reminds me of my brother and I... if I were shot. But unlike Futurama, I still watch it today when it is on (though it only seems to be on in the morning unfortunately.

First off, Fresh Prince has the best theme song ever. (Yo homes, smell ya later). On top of that, it's a very entertaining show. Will Smith is absolutely fantastic in what is the first of many great performances in his career. I think that Carlton is the one that really makes the show though. He's the perfect antithesis to Will.

Father Ted isn't that great from what I've seen. The funniest guy is the one that looks like a ******ed burn victim, but it's not enough to beat the Fresh Prince here.

Lee will hate me for this, but Fresh Prince gets my vote. After hearing about Father Ted I went and looked up some videos of it, and honestly, I don't get it. I'm not going to go on a rant here and say this and that about British humor as I do like British humor actually, but I just didn't get hooked onto Father Ted. Fresh Prince meanwhile was awesome when I was a kid, and still awesome to this day. Anyone that watched that show a lot can recite the damn theme song word for word, with no instrumentals or anything. That is always a great sign in my book.

Comedy vehicles are not usually very good. The Fresh Prince is the exception to that, but even that was quite repetitive at times. Seeing Carlton dance to Tom Jones ceases to be funny after a while. Father Ted was very innovative, and I think I'm correct in saying it is one of the few Irish shows that made it onto British Television. It was very amusing, very well written and it extracted the most possible humour out of its setting, which is what sitcoms are supposed to do. My vote is for Ted.

Yeah I'm quite pissed Prince of Bel-Air even made it past the last round in which they should have lost, so really for that reason alone I'm voting for Father Ted, simply to vote against the Fresh Prince. Will Smith was funny, and Carlton was humorous, but it should have lost last round damnit. Ted gets my vote.
