Poor ZZ Top. Poor, poor bearded old men.

As good as they are, they don't have the wherewithall to upend one of the triad of heavy metal history. Even for those who like ZZ's music better that Sabbath's, the influence of Ozzy and Rhodes and the work Sabbath did before their brand of dark metal was acceptable in society is too much for a band whose hits include such banality as "Tush," "Sharp Dressed Man," and "La Grange."

Sabbath in a landslide, with a tough 3rd rounder against the winner of Fleetwood Mac and Clapton.

This one is going to be tough because I like both ZZ Top and Black Sabbath. Both bands have songs that I love, and both bands were very popular in the 70's and have had a bunch of influence on newer bands, personally I think this match is a toss up

If I had to pick a winner, I'd go with Black Sabbath. They had more of an influence on Metal and Hard Rock (which is my my forte of music) than ZZ Top
