3d!C:O (EPICO)

PISTOL PETE
I watched Epico vs Sin cara on smackdown, and in only about 5 minutes this guy has impressed me, i loved how he showed signs of both Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero in him, how he did the 3 back suplex amigos with a german suplex at the end. and did that submission that chavo did. And he has a Classic mexican heel like character that both Eddie Guerrero and Chavo were great at. He looks great as a heel, and Epico and Hunico in one night has impressed me more than what mexican america from TNA has done this whole year. I love how Epico and Hunico transissioned very well from being a a baby face tag team in FCW, to a HEEL tag team in WWE. And their Tag Team finisher that they did on sin cara was a unique powerbomb that most WWE fans have never seen.

The guy is only 29 years old, and i think he's got a great future ahead of him, and think he will be another mexican great, esppesially as a heel.

so what do you think of Epico, i mean he dosent botch like hunico and cara, he has a combination of heel Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero look in him. Do you think he will progress well in the WWE
Do you even like him?

Bring back Carlito and have a Colon stable. I don't care how far down Primo is, I think a good Puerto Rican stable would be sweet.

So looking at his brothers who came before him...he's gonna be pushed then be let go and be in a free fall to the bottom of the chain

But what's with your typing of Epico? Why couldn't you just do it normal?

I loved Epico's debut.

When I first saw he was about to wrestle Sin Cara, I straight-away thought it would be a squash. He had no introduction or anything, he just looked like home talent about to get squashed. Then, he ends up dominating Sin Cara in what turned about to be quite a nifty match. I'm sure most of the WWE fans, having no idea who he was were shocked and the interference of Hunico at the end will make for an interesting tag team indeed.

What I really liked, though, was the way he wrestled. Like a true Mexican. I think most WWE fans presume that all Mexicans are high-flyers and seeing Hunico and Epico with their suplexes, matt-wrestling. etc... it's well... different. I really hope they go far, and become a tag team to reckon with after their feud with Sin Cara. They have a good look about them and Primo could slot right in to make a stable. Sort of like a well executed Mexican America.

Too bad he is Puerto Rican and not Mexican or you would a good point, but he was impressive from what I have seen of him and I can see them being serious contenders for the tag team titles after their feud with Sin Cara. Also funny you mention Mexican American cuz I thought Hunico reminded me of a tiny Hernandez during his first promo after being unmasked with the headband and everything except he can actually speak Spanish where Hernandez struggles.

Not to be to nitpicky but Epico did not wrestle like a true Mexican seeing how he is not Mexican. You do realize that there is a complete difference between being from Mexico and being from Puerto Rico. Epico who is the nephew of Carlos Colon, the cousins of Carlito and Primo, is from Puerto Rico. Just because he Puerto Ricans speak Spanish doesn't make them the same as Mexicans. There is many different Latin American countries which all have Spanish as the primary language but they aren't all the same. For instance Antonio Banderas was born in Spain. That makes him Spanish, not Mexican. He has no connection to Mexico except for that fact that they share the same language.

I seriously thought that was Primo in the ring when I first saw Epico.

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by Epico. I half expected him to actually job to Sin Cara so I was pleased to see that he got some good offense on him. I think Smackdown might have given us the new tag team of Hunico and Epico (which has a nice ring to it). I'll be sure to keep a watch on this guy. I'm curious to see how far he'll get.

I meant cousins, not brothers

But I hope Epico is not the last of the cruiserweights to come onto the main roster. I really hope they can keep them coming and really build up a cruiserweight division, that or add to the tag division

Epico had a pretty nice debut. I think that him, Primo and Sin Cara negro would make a nice heel stable for SmackDown. To top it all off, I'd say have Rosa Mendes be their manager/valet/random hott chick. It's wishful thinking that it will actually happen though, because the WWE usually drops the ball with these kinds of things.

believe me, if he's given a chance he can run with the ball...pretty fun guy in the ring

This is the culmination of one of the biggest angles in years in Puerto Rico from their Anniversary 36 show in 2009 La Pesadilla(Masked Orlando) vs Ray Gonzalez with boxing great Tito Trinidad as special guest referee

Epico is a very interesting prospect, he came in and actually took out Sin Cara and I see a bright future for him. I totally thought he was a skinny Primo at first but then found out that he is Orlando Colon and he is the cousin of Carlito and Primo, throw in the fact that he was trained by Carlos Colon Sr and one of my heroes Dan Severn, he has a hell of a background. I loved what he did in the ring and I can't wait to see more of him, I love him and Hunico together and I think they can make some killer matches together.

im not saying there bad they are very good and i mean very but that power bomb it was indeed a botch. I think they should go back to FCW and train more, they have talent but if hunico does something like that again someone can get injured

I thought he was great in the ring. Especially on Superstars with him and Primo vs. The Usos. And his match with Hunico vs. The Usos on Smackdown was very good. I see a big future for Hunico and Epico, but now with Sin Cara's injury. I'm not so sure about that.
