2012 NFL Draft LD

So Sal Pal said that apparently this guy can block too? Shit, 4.3 40 AND can block? Hell, he doesn't need to do anything else. Run straight and block on running plays.

He's the Georgia Tech receiver that comes every couple of years. Calvin Johnson, Bey Bey Thomas, and now Hill. Dude is big and has the right attitude. I can imagine that the raw receiving skills are coachable. In a lot of ways I prefer that to the attitude problem guys. Plus, did you see how happy he was? Gotta like that.

Yeah, I love seeing the happiness in these kids.

Did you guys see Ingram last night? He did one of those elaborate handshake things with Goodell when he came up.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Jets take a guy from an option offense, the same that produced Timmy Tebows best reciever last year....
hey, they needed a deep threat, and they need a blocking WR.

Can't blame them. It makes sense. Not to mention he was probably the best/most talented WR on the board.

call me crazy, but if i were the browns i would have waited until later in the draft to take osweiler. i think he has untapped potential.

Not saying I disagree, I love it.

I am just reenforcing my opinion that anyone who doesnt think Tim Tebow is starting as the driving force of an offense straight out of the 50s by October is fooling themselves

Also, Seachickens having a terrible draft, this pleases me

we needed a S, good pick for the pats, don't know much about wilson though.

melvin ingram, what a steal for the chargers at 18th.

No way, they needed a QB for 2012. Osweiler is a QB for 2014. The current coaching staff would be fired by then, and the team would have drafted a QB 1st overall by then.

Actually, Tony Sporano wants run-blocking WRs, and runs the football, so it's not just option-type stuff.

Plus the Jets need a deep threat, and Hill is the best Deep threat. He will help whoever the QB is, and I don't see it at all being Tebow, unless Sanchez is hurt or plays worse then Blaine Gabbart/Colt McCoy did last year.

They did last year too, right? Carroll is making some odd choices. Maybe he knows something no one else does.

And Mel Kiper is trying to kill the Pats for their pick. LOL, you don't knock Bill Belichick draft picks. 99 times out of 100 you look like a fool. Knock him for always trading down, but not when he actually picks someone.

I meant an offense which runs the ball the majority of the time, be it option or not. its going to be fucking awesome
Yes the Jets games will be. Run the ball and bomb it deep. Can't beat that.

And this guy is 6'4". He replaces Plaxico too. I really am starting to fucking adore this pick.

also, LOL quote of the draft so far "I dont know what he was being coached to do sometimes" by Gruden in regards to UNC OLB Zach Brown haha

Well Peyton Manning got help for the Bronco's.....

Oh wait, no he didn't. They got Peytons replacement. Brock Osweiler. Good pick for them, but they DESPERATELY need help if they want to make a run. Osweiler doesn't help one bit.

I'm well aware he's Barry Fucking Sanders. I was at the game he broke the 2,000 yard mark back in 1997. Coincidentally it was against the Jets.

hmmmm, seems as if john elway agrees with me about brock osweiler.

still would've taken him if i were the browns over the guy with the walker and oxygen tank.

He sure isnt being bashful about what he thinks and wants, is he

Nope, but he's stupid. Nick Foles played in the same state as Osweiler and is 1 inch shorter and 500 times the player. No idea why Brock went up the draft boards so much but he's garbage. Foles is the much better player.

of course not.

Osweiler is a great pick for them though. By the time Osweiler is ready for the starting job, Manning will be done anyway.

They just are ignoring their team needs though so far.

Matt Stover FTW on annoucing that name. Most these guys have a hard time announcing the confusing names like that.

Kurt Warner didn't start until he was 27. Roger Staubach had to wait 5 years after he was drafted to suit up, and was 27.

They're both Hall of Famers (Warner will be, Staubach is). Don't go Weeden short. He's every bit as good as every other QB in the draft, including Luck.
