12/10 Impact LD

Is it just me, or is it possible that SPIKE TV, mid way though TNA, is not the best place in the world to be advertising women's shaving products?

I'm gonna try and be positive here. Yeah, this show wasn't that great, but isn't it a good sign that the product has improved so much that we can be disappointed with a show like this that really wasn't terrible?

The fact that I'm marking for Jarrett to return and resist against Hogan means that something is very wrong...

That's fair. Eighteen months ago during the 'Total Nonstop Angle' era a show like this probably wouldn't have disappointed me so much. It's just a result of every show for months being between decent and terrific that a poor show like tonight's gets me down.

When I was watching the 50 Greatest Moments DVD, around '05 they ran an angle where Hogan was going to TNA and Jarrett went to Japan and attacked him because he didn't want him in TNA

You know, that might not be the worst thing for TNA to do.
Whether people agree with them or not, there is a portion of TNA's regular audience who don't like Hogan coming in, and having those two represent "the other side" will help keep those viewers on board with the show if it does go Hogan Heavy for a few months.

We outdid the RAW LD again this week incidentally, and that's without the usual two hours of slow moving banter before the show.

It's not like a good show generates more convocation that a bad one.
I'd estimate we outpost the RAW losers three weeks out of four.
LD Jingoism for the win.

I remember it...I was indifferent then, probably because it wasn't on this level.

We've gotten some pretty good turnouts for a while now...I like it...

3 out of 4 sounds about right...

It utterly died up when you skipped the PPV, so I guess I'm willing to have a small portion of the credit over to you for driving these things.

Thanks :)

I'll be here for Final Resolution, so we'll see then, I guess...

I might not be, which is still sad. LD's have become a traditional part of my life.

In other news, I've decided to start posting in your neck of the woods again. I was saving the One Man Crusade for the new year, but I decided to kick it off earlier.

Awesome. There's a new thread up on jobbers, or the lack thereof.
