Whoever "They" are i think for it to be successful they need Bill Goldberg to be involed...Tell me you wouldn't love to see a Angle v. Goldberg or RVD v. Goldberg or the slight possibility of Hogan v. Goldberg 2 !

.....No! Just no! Goldberg was a decent wrestler at best and by now would probably be even worse. Not to mention the fact that the guy has trashed wrestling all over the place and for someone who made his fame and fortune through it, that's pretty petty. If Goldberg ever showed up in TNA I would damn sure do my part to make sure he gets the lowest rated segment of any and every show he was on. Why someone would want Goldberg in TNA is beyond me. Must be someone living in the past more than Eric & Hulk.

Hey if TNA can bring ECW back from the dead, then i'd say bring back Da Man ! Goldberg would would the perfect to the "decpition" angle and they can reveal Goldberg as the man that took off RVD...I know what you all about to say "Abyss took out RVD" But we don't know that for sure cuz at the end of the whole f'n show fortune and EV2.0 were in the middle of a brawl when abyss grabbed RVD and took him to the back. A minute later we see abyss standing over a bloody RVD with janice...but what if TNA played it out as during that minute we didn't see anything Goldberg beat the hell out of RVD and abyss walked up with janice just as the cameras went backstage. While RVD is "recovering" Goldberg is destroying everything in sight, hell TNA can start the streak all over again ! Eventually Goldberg win the WHC while running thru the roster until one night he gets on the mic and ask "Who's Next" Thats when you cue RVD's music ! Goldberg will look stunned cuz he thought that he took out RVD for good, They do the typical face v. heel brawl in the ring with RVD getting the upper hand. While Goldberg is heading to the back RVD challege's Goldberg for the belt RVD never really lost. BOOM people this storyline writes itself !

I've been intrigued with this whole build up but I do have worries that it'll get to the 10.10.10 and the man walking down the ramp to reveal he is they will be....

THE BLACK SCORPION

Seriously, I could see something like that being the case. I hope I'm wrong and it's someone like Shane McMahon, Paul Heyman or Batista as they could make a difference to TNA (all the name wrestlers that could are either out of the business or working for WWE).

Hell, knowing how TNA like to work the IWC why not have it as Jim Cornette and Ring Of Honour, we all know both companies have a working relationship and it'd deffo be something that would get people talking and be unlike anything we've seen on main-stream wrestling before. (And if you look at who Fortune have been attacking, they're all guys that Jim Cornette hates)

Why do people keep mentioning 'they' with Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan turning heel? How does that make any sense what so ever? Abyss is going to side with Hogan after he has been hitting him with steel chairs? Sure it is TNA (weirder things have happened) but there is no chance of this happening?

Why do people also keep mentioning 'they' could be Jarrett, Hogan, Sting and Kevin Nash? HOW CAN THAT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE!?! Why would Abyss be taking orders off these old hacks?

I think it will be an outside invasion of some sort with a star definitely making the debut on 10.10.10. I pose an idea... AAA wrestling in Mexico perhaps? TNA re-negotiated a dead with AAA about trading talent and we saw the likes of Hernandez and Mr Anderson compete in their Rey de Reyes show and Triplemania. Someone like Mesias could be heading over with Abyss as they are both disfunctional.

I dont care what it is, as long as it provides some shock value. No one will then be complaining.

If this is successful as TNA hopes then we should be in for an entertaining few months. But as always with Russo in TNA, the build up will likely be a disappointment and the actual event an exaggeration.

I really want this to be something to put the company over the top but I doubt it. Tying it in to something so old isn't a good start and I wish Hogan and Bischoff didn't have to be involved.

As a die hard TNA fan, I am preparing myself for the worst.

I have a feeling the big surprise at Bound For Glory could be a huge let down, and I feel this way mainly because of one man.....Vince Russo. I just hope TNA doesn't try and pull of something like Bash At The Beach 2000, which was incredibly stupid by the way.

We've all been anxiously awaiting to ind out who "They" are. This is a huge storyline that has been brewing for quite some time. I originally thought Fortune or EV2.o might be they, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Since they have been behind Abyss' rampage, which included destroying TNA's World Heavyweight Champion, then I have to believe this mystery stable will include some big names. This is a huge angle, and a lot will be riding on this at BFG.

Alot of people have been bashing TNA for this angle but looking at what alot of those people have said has made themselves look foolish.....smarks have said it was EV2, when we found out it wasnt they said it was Fortune. The common theme I'm seeing is that these two factions seemed so obvious. Now the only obvious answer is a group consisting of some of the following....Foley, Sting, Nash, Jarrett,Hogan, and Bischoff. I want to have faith that TNA has a huge surprise and the third time won't be the charm. I dont want to be right, it needs, pretty much has to be a surprise or this TNA faithful is just has just about had enough "big suprises"!

I have no idea what the hell TNA is going to debut at BFG but I hope its something unexpected. Especially after TNA mainly Taz just dropped the bomb on one BFG suprise.

Let's just hope its not another random storyline thrown in there for the heck of it. Or them dropping one for that sake.

The big surprise is that Dixie carter's husband will turn on her and join up with some faction, probably flair and some group of wrestlers and theyll feud with Dixie and hogan etc... The next big angle will be Dixie v hubby for control over tna. Probably as part of some divorce angle.

Seriously. The fact that mr. Dixie is getting involved in an on air role just screams a swerve is coming. Uhg.

Did I miss something/? When was it announced that "They" would be revealed at BFG? "They"?
I thought I heard Flair say tonight on Impact that Fortune was

Not sure if thats a spoiler or not. I dont know when Impact is shown everywhere, but just making sure lol.

Yea I heard the same thing. I don't think many people woulda noticed as it was just dropped in real quick during Joe's entrance I think and ReACTION people are saying that Fortune even said what Taz said.

Taz stated that "They" was fortune and it was reinforced on ReACTION by various stars but mainly Rhino.

Flair said Fortune is They too...

They are not Fortune...

I really think it's something to do with Raven... Raven and Abyss were teaming up pryor to the Hardcore Justice PPV and him not being there since the attack of RVD is kind of odd...

It would be cool to see him show up at BFG with a stable of dark wrestlers... Like maybe, Kevin Thorn, Mike Knox and whoever else...

I know that all that hype over Raven would be seen by a lot of people as a let down... But, really what else could it be?

Unless it is Heyman or a Hogan heel turn... Which in my opinion... Heyman would be awesome but is highly unlikely and a Hogan heel turn is not needed...

Taz stated that "They" was fortune and it was reinforced on ReACTION by various stars but mainly Rhino.

Wait, wait, wait...are you serious? That can't be right. I don't watch reaction so I didn't see that but if true, that is fuuuuuuucked up. Big time.

If true, that just cements what a lot of people thought, that TNA never had any clear plans for "they" (unless it was the ECW guys and they had to dump it when Heyman blew them off), were jerking our chains, and when their was nowhere to go with it they just quickly tried to explain it under their breath.

How would Abyss hyping "they" for weeks and weeks make any sense at all that they end up being Fortune? Huh? :banghead:

I didn't hear all of what Rhino said the first time he was on reaction last night.

I did hear something about Fortune saying they were "They."

But the second time Rhino was talking he said "I'm convinced Fortune is "They" and at least there's only one group that needs to get their ass' kicked."

Rhino basically said what Kurt Angle was saying when Angle thought "They" was just something Abyss created. Rhino still doesn't know if Fortune is "They," he's just convinced that they are.

I think what's going on is
EV2.0 showed up, they weren't "They"
Fortune shows up, they weren't "They" either but they seemed to be in cahoots with Abyss
Everyone has been talking about "They" and now you got people wondering if we're going to see Bill Goldberg, James Mitchell, Judas Mesias, and any number of people who COULD join TNA or possible TNA guys who could turn heel(or a combination of TNA guys and debuter's.)

So now TNA is making it out that Fortune must be "They" and we probably won't hear about They for the next month so there actually can be a surprise at BFG. If we're all expecting "They" at BFG, it's like half a surprise b/c we know to expect something but we don't know exactly what.

If They is Fortune ... that's going to blow. I mean it's not that bad, but It'd be nice if TNA could shock the hell outta us a BFG.

I hope your right but knowing TNA I never get my hope's up.

One man you didn't mention that I would like is the man you reigns over hell....James Mitchell. I feel if James Mitchell would come back then you could see some very interesting storylines and avenues open up for Abyss as it did back when he was manager of Abyss in TNA.\

Actually now that I think about it. Didn't they feud with Raven.

They could be the Nexus. Nexus has said they were working for a bigger purpose, or whatever Wade said. Abyss is leading Nexus, which will turn into a WWE vs. TNA feud where Vince pulls a Donald Trump and buys TNA for a month

What if "they" are sting and nash and the old wolfpack? When EV2.0 came aroiund I thought they would be they. When fortune came around I thought they would be they. There isn't many it could be left. And I gotta big feeling I'll be dissapionted when "they" arrive. OR "they" could be the voices in his head. The voices probably councils him, they understand him, they talk to him, they tell him things that he will do, they'll show him things he'll do to you... they talk to him...whoooooaaaa

At this point, "They" could end up being The Bushwhackers and I wouldn't be surprised. TNA just makes no sense to me anymore. Every time they do something I love, they follow it up with somehting I hate. They create a Television Title and have AJ not defend it for weeks. They build intrigue around an angle and then forget about it for a week, making it much less interesting when they decide to bring it back up. They build a Fortune vs. EV2 angle and then throw Hogan and his crew in the mix before it can even get off the ground. They put the X-Division title on Doug Williams, a mat technician, and now don't even have him competing on the shows.

All that said, I still like it better than the WWE. Vince sucks!

I personally think that the topic of "they" was closed last week. On Impact it was said that "they" is Fourtune. I think TNA did not know where to go with "they" angle, so they just closed it. I hope I'm wrong and I hope that latter, maybe at BFG, there will be some shocking reveal of "they".

For some reason, I think that TNA closed "they" angle just to open a new one, with Hogan going for full control of the company. Last week he overruled Dixie's decision about Flair. What is more, this fact was stressed more on ReAction, and it was hinted that Dixie had not liked it. Thus, soon we may see Sting saying "I told you so" to Dixie :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could swear Mike Tenay or Taz said that "They" are Fortune, on last week's impact:wtf:. I can't remember which part they said it in, but I hope it's not true. It kinda makes sense but seems like a waste of a great angle.

I don't think fourtune is THEY but they (the announcers) might say they (as Fourtune) while talking about them.

And I wasn't sure about Flair too but I think he said that Abyss warned EV2.0 and Hogan about they, the problem with the word they is that you can't know for sure when it's THEY or they.

I hope it's a group but it will probably be coming from the inside or else it would be compose of guy we don't really know which would make it harder to see them as a threath, but thinking about it WWE manage to do it so TNA could probably do it too.

People..... just because wrestlers or announcers say who they think "They" are doesn't mean they are right. I mean ReAction i supposed to be a "legit" show where they get peoples thoughts and opinions on things. So of course different wrestlers will have different opinions on who "They" are. Abyss said we will find out who "They" are at BFG. If we look at this from a real life situation only Abyss and "They" know whats going on. So everything else is just on air speculation. The WCW announcers did this all the time in WCW. Hell I remember Dusty Rhodes on a PPV starting a conversation and asking the rest of the announcers to speculate on the situation. So until Abyss changes anything BFG we will find out who "They" are. TNA would not give it away before BFG.
