9:00 - The show opened with Koji Kondo playing the Mario Bros theme. Regie showed a video of Shigeru Miyamoto hyping Captain Toad, showing off new footage of Mario Maker, and we got a brief glimpse of Star Fox Wii U.

9:15 - Kiefer Sutherland hypes his involvement in Metal Gear Solid. We get a gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Online, that ends with Snake and Ocelot taking a selfie.

BEST PERFORMANCE: Trey Parker, South Park: The Stick of Truth

9:30 - Trailers for Dying Light (Techland) and the world premiere of Tacoma (Fullbright), a zombie apocalypse open-world game. World exclusive new look at Bloodborne (From Software) including gameplay footage.

9:36 - Banner Saga 2 announced complete with short music performance.

TRENDING GAMER: TotalBiscuit (aka NOT Pewdiepie)

9:45 - The creator of Brothers, Josef Fares, has created a new studio called Hazelight. Some footage of a new game he's working on.

9:50 - Dungeon Defenders II (Trendy Entertainment) gameplay footage. Sunset Overdrive advert. Far Cry 4 "season pass" advert.

9:54 - Crazy laser light show with some kind of laser-based MIDI instrument. Not sure what the artist's name was.

10:00 - World premiere of Adrift (Adam Orth), an "FPX" (first person experience?) that's basically Gravity, the video game.

BEST MOBILE GAME/HANDHELD: Hearthstone

DEVELOPER OF THE YEAR: Nintendo

FIGHTING GAME OF THE YEAR: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

10:10 - Reggie shows off Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. (Intelligent Systems) for the 3DS.

10:15 - World premiere of Before (Facepunch).

10:25 - Sneak peak at Battlefield: Hardline followed by a band doing the theme song from the game live.

BEST E-SPORTS PLAYER: Matt "Nadeshot" Haag

BEST SPORTS/RACING GAME: Mario Kart 8

10:35 - Footage from The Order: 1886. Yasiel Puig is on the cover of the new MLB game. Uncharted 4 is called "A Thieves's End". Premiere footage of Until Dawn (Supermassive Games). Launch trailer for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, which looks like a top-down Diablo-like game. Did you guys know DESTINY IS A GAME!? BECAUSE IT IS!

BEST SHOOTER: Far Cry 4

10:50 - New footage from The Witcher 3 including a new playable female character.

BEST NARRATIVE: Valiant Hearts

GAMES FOR CHANGE: Valiant Hearts

10:55 - New footage of No Man's Sky (Hello Games). 65daysofstatic, the mathcore post-rock band doing all the music for the game, does a live performance.

If this was facebook, I would have asked "Are you talking to yourself or did someone block me?"
By the way, which game won best racing game (that is, if there is any such category)?

11:10 - Ken and Roberta, and a bunch of people from Seirra talk about Sierra and King's Quest for way too long. We do get footage of the new King's Quest game being done by Activision.

11:30 - Live violin/dance performance from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

INDIE GAME OF THE YEAR: Shovel Knight

11:35 - World premiere of footage from Human Element (Robotoki). Looks like a really pretty, non-cell-shaded version of Borderlands.

11:40 - Footage of Eve: Online for some reason. My exact reaction was, "Is this a not shitty version of Eve? Oh...no, it's Eve."

GAME OF THE YEAR: Dragon Age Inquisition

11:45 - Reggie is back. We get gameplay footage of Wii U. It's completely open world with lots of elevation, Skyrim style. They show Link jump off a mountain and float to the ground, get on Epona and ride through a forest. Random enemies on the map. You can jump off Epona and shoot at enemies in slow motion. Let me just say that again...JUMP...off Epona. J.U.M.P. In a Zelda game. They set a destination on the map and it took a full 10 minutes to get there, so it's a big map. STAR FOX WII U will come out before Zelda in 2015.

11:55 - Imagine Dragons hits the stage and does an acoustic version of Zelda's Lullaby. Koji Kondo is with them for Song of Healing and Overworld Theme. They do acoustic versions of one of their own songs.
