It had to be our fat plumber who made it to number 1, who else?
Which one though? Super Mario Bros 1,2,3, world? Mario 64? Sunshine?

Collect the stars, put the letters together...UR MR GAY? It's Super Mario Galaxy!

The Greatest game of all time #1; Super Mario Galaxy

SuperMarioGalaxy.jpg

Format; Wii

Genre; Platformer

Release date; UK; 16th November 2007

Plot; Save the princess :p

Why number 2?
Towards the end of 2007, Super Mario Galaxy was named Game of the Year by IGN, GameSpot, Nintendo Power, GameTrailers, Edge, and Yahoo! Games. On February 7, 2008, the game received the "Adventure Game of the Year" award from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences at the Interactive Achievement Awards.Galaxy was nominated for Ultimate Game Of The Year, Best Soundtrack, All-Nighter, and Best Nintendo Game at the 2008 Golden Joysticks.

There's a reason for that...take the 2D Mario genius, mix it with 3D, fix the stupid camera angles, have a tremendous soundtrack, restore the fire flower and Luigi, mix it with the gameplay that makes you say "one more level"

Ladies and gentlemen...Super Mario galaxy!

House Beoulve is no more. But what does it matter? We are the sum of our deeds, not our names.
-Ramza Beoulve

I have nothing but praise for this game. It took the ingenuity and the brilliance that was the battle system and did nothing to it in the remake. They did revamp all the dialogue, turing it into a beautuful, complex old english epic, that shows the struggles of two men, one Delita Hyral a commoner who rises to nobility to plunge the mightly land of Ivlace out of a dreadful war. The other Ramza Beoulve a noble with a pure heart who's house crumbles, is branded a heritic, but he saves the land from the unseen evil of the Lucivi who threaten to plunge the world into darkness. And if the Story wasnt enough a complex job tree, an amazing tactical combat system, a plethra of abilities, bonus dungons, memorable characters, and an all arround fun gameplay make this the end all be all of Final Fantasy's, and my greatest game ever.

What was the hardest part of these 10 weeks for me was figuring out 2-9, because there was one right answer to me: Link to the Past. Say what you want about Ocarina of Time. Link to the Past is nothing short of mindblowing. To have come out 16 and a half years ago, this game stands up with anything you want to throw at it. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is intricate but makes sense, there are side quests and mini games too numerous to count, the bosses are great. Simply put, there is not a single flaw in this game. It is the epitome of Zelda: the perfect balance of puzzle solving, action, and storytelling. It is so great that a professional wrestler emblazoned his boots with the symbol of the game. A grown man in a violent business did that. That has to mean something,
