McMahon Family Angle

Getting Noticed By Management
Throughout WWE history the McMahons have been a part of many many different angles. We've seen the corporate ministry angle, the fatal 4 way thing for wrestlemania 16, the stephanie triple h marriage angle, and of course McMahon vs. austin. More recently we've seen the McMahon limo explosion and the illegitimate son anlge. Most of these have been quite entertaining and so now i pose a challenege to you.
Book an entertaining McMahon angle that could happen now. It can involve the entire family or just a few members, whatever you want. Try to make it rather in depth and throw in lots of swerves.

The only McMahon Family angle that was good in my opinion was the "McMahon/Helmsley Era" which ran throughout the year of 2000. The Wrestlemania 2000 thing with a McMahon in each corner was a part of that angle, not a stand-alone story. If anything, it was a chapter of it or a plot twist. Shane was present in the story but did nothing worth noting.

The Ministry of Darkness/Corporation/Corporate Ministry angle started off well but it eventually got cluttered and fizzled out when Undertaker took a hiatus to heal up so it had a piss poor conclusion if anything.

I'm not sure if Austin vs. McMahon was a "McMahon Family" angle, considering the focal point of the story was about a rebel fighting his boss and it had a proper conclusion, in my opinion, when Austin finally re-claimed his Smoking Skull beltat Backlash of 1999. By that time, the Ministry of Darkness started full force and then Stephanie and Linda got involved as it progressed.

Alright, I'll take a shot at this.

So, now that Stephanie has control on Raw, Shane isn't happy. He starts doing things on Raw to undermine his sister's authority. After a few weeks or so, Vince finally intervenes. He says the two will alternate control throughout the weeks until a culmination match at some ppv. The winner of the last match match will have full control, and the loser will lose their share in the company, or something like that.

I'll work out the details and post something more in depth soon...

Without flushing out all the details... just forget about Hornswoggle and go with the original plan... Mr. Kennedy being Vince's son.

Shane and Stephanie fight over controll... Vince intervienes... Kennedy is revealed to be a sibling... Shane and Steph band together while Kennedy's stock rises through the roof... Steph turns on Shane and aligns with Kennedy... Shane vs Kennedy can be the next epic Shane spot fest... Kennedy turns on Steph and Vince while kafabe gaining a portion of ownership in the WWE... main eventer for life...

Ok, well obviously Stephanie is being seen as the heel General Manager of RAW and Shane as the face. So heres my idea:

Stephanie is RAW General Manager and has revealed that she is going to make better matches as there is someone who is threatening her power of RAW. On Smackdown, either Vickie Guerrero is fired/ injured whatever and that leaves Smackdown with no General Manager. Shane O'Mac is brought in as the General Manager, thus starting a feud between RAW and Smackdown and the top brand is decided by better matches, storylines etc.

I think this could have superb potential because it makes storylines a lot better rather than the bull**** that we have now. Couple of things come to mind about how Kane and The Brian Kendrick are being wasted on their respected shows.

Hows this for a McMahon family angle. The power struggle between steph and shane to be GM of Raw happens and stephanie mcmahon wins some sort of match at wrestlemania to become GM. Randy orton is the current WHC, he defended against cena at wrestlemania. At Backlash its a wrestlemania re-match between John Cena and Randy orton. Shane McMahon interferes and helps orton beat cena. Shane McMahon joins the legacy because he too is a multi generation superstar and would fit in the group, he acts as their manager and wants to help the group take over RAW so he can get revenge on stephanie mcmahon.

The Legacy beocmes a dominant force destroying all who oppose them. At Night of Champions it is going to be John Cena vs. Randy orton for the world title in a Cage match. Stephanie McMahon will be in cena's corner and shane o mac will be in randy ortons corner. However, at night of champions it is revealed that shane was mysteriously taken out and will not be able to make it....

The match goes down and just as it seems Cena will finally overcome Orton and win the title stephanie mcmahon comes in and low blows cena betraying him. ITS A SWERVE. She has now joined the Legacy. Orton and the Legacy were responsible for taking out shane and say that stephanie has taken his place in the group. Orton and Stephanie become a power couple much like triple h and stephanie used to be, Legacy now seems to be in complete control of RAW.

However, John Cena comes out a few weeks later and says he has a shocking secret for the WWE Universe. Stephanie McMahon has cheated on Randy orton! This obviously could cause the new regime on RAW to self destruct. Whats even more shocking is the perosn who stephanie has been cheating on Orton with.....none other than Shane McMahon, ITS A SWERVE. Apparently they have taken a great liking to each other recently and have put the past behind them and want to rule the WWE together, they say that they dont need randy orton, the legacy or anyone else. Vince makes his return to RAW and he is so disgusted with shane and steph he throws them off of RAW becuz of thier behaviour. A new, fair, GM is appointed and at summerslam we get the final showdown between cena and orton for the world title in a last man standing match. John Cena wins. Thoughts?

The family fuedin angle has been done to death. We have had it how many times since 1999? Im going to say at least twice a year to 2008.

Its was fresh and new, much like authority figure vs babyfacestar, ala Stone Cold, but it has been overused now to the point its just, well, boring.

All the major angles have been done, Daddy's little girl, divorce angles, daddy's little girl rebels, illegitimate sons, the works. There was going to be a Mcmahon incest angle, but Steph shot it down(and rightly so, it wouldnt make good television, just generate the kind of heat that makes you change channel!)
