Legacy Wrestling Enterprises - LWE

Dark Match Jobber
Joseph Creed, a real-estate tycoon from Dallas, Texas, was a life-long wrestling fan. He had become bored with the current product as a whole, however, so he decided to try his hand at his OWN business....He really enjoyed the up-and-coming talent the wrestling world had to offer, but, unfortunately, they had no way of gaining the exposure needed to advance in the business.

He felt that Legacy Wrestling Enterprises could be that needed platform. But, knowing the monopoly that is WWE, Creed felt that the basis of his promotion should and WOULD be built around the "lesser-known" talent throughout the world. However, several "established" stars would be used as well, in order to draw name-recognition status and publicity to LWE.

With all this in mind, Creed set out on a international escapade to find and locate wrestlers who would be the face of LWE....Incredibly, his journey turned out to be a great success as wrestlers from all over the world quickly agreed to sign LWE-exclusive contracts. Creed knew his deadline was quickly approaching, as his debut show VERTIGO, would arrive on November 1st.

After 6 weeks abroad, Joseph Creed returned to his offices in Dallas with several signed LWE-exclusive contracts with him, with more in negotiation....he also was able to obtain Jim Cornette to become the LWE D.O.A. (Director Of Authority), including verbal agreements from four others to become the inaugural LWE management/official team. Creed's next item of business was to release the names and stats of the stars he signed to become part of Legacy Wrestling Enterprises various divisions, and they are as follows:

Heavyweight Division:
DAN MAFF (6', 250lbs) - Fresh out of retirement, this ruthless competitor wants to regain the stride he had throughout his tenures with Ring of Honor and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. He feels that there will be nobody he won't be able to defeat to conquer the Land of Legacy in LWE.

COBIAN (6'4", 265 lbs) - Not much is known about this MASSIVE competitor except that he really "earned his keep" when he was brought into Maryland Championship Wrestling by Joey Matthews and Christian York back in 2008 as a strong-arm enforcer. Time will tell if he has retained his dominance since breaking away from Matthews and York.

KING V (6'9", 485 lbs) - The former Big Daddy V was released from WWE for health concerns. After taking some time off to regroup and recover, he joined the ranks of the National Wrestling Alliance, where he took the champion, Blue Demon Jr. to his complete limits, in a losing effort for the title. Completely healthy, he is preparing to make a similar, yet more successful run through the LWE ranks.

MIKE DIBIASE (6', 200 lbs) - The oldest of the Dibiase boys has surprisingly remained uncontracted to WWE. He held the NWA North American Title for almost a year and a half before Apollo beat him in Texas. Hopes to prove that not signing with WWE along with his brothers was the best move for him here in LWE. In fact, he has already been announced to be competing at VERTIGO1 on November 1st.

RICKY LANDELL (6'1", 221 lbs) - A star in Japan for the past several years, Landell is more adept at submission, high impact, and extreme styles, completely able to match styles with whomever he faces. This star has become a heavy favorite to capture the inaugural LWE World Title.

DEVON STORM (6'1", 230 lbs) - After 17 years in the business, Storm was considering retirement, but after a phonecall from Joseph Creed, something was worked out that entiiced the former Crowbar back to the spotlight.

RIKI CHOSHU (6', 265 lbs) - This Japanese legend has earned his "bad boy" tag he has earned after almost 4 decades inside the ring. The man who made the lariat what it is today, Choshu agreed to come to LWE as a "special attraction" as his incredible year has taken its toll on his body. But, we here at LWE will honored to have him, however long that may be.

Tag Team Division:
THE YOUNG BUCKS (Matt & Nick Jackson) - Perhaps the hottest tag team in the sport, these brothers have faced some of the most premier teams in the history of the sport, and have defeated them all...Their finisher, More Bang For Your Buck, has propelled these two former backyard wrestlers into the mainstream.

HILLBILLY WRECKING CREW (Brodie Lee/Necro Butcher) - These two crazy stars felt that the only way to get crazier, was to join forces!! What happened was perhaps a duo that is the most unconventional, unpredictable, yet highly successful and popular teams perhaps ever in the sport. How unpredictable? Find out, when they fight a former multi-time World Tag Team Champions duo on November 1....That team is....

THE NATURALS (Chase Stevens/Andy Douglas) - This former 2-Time NWA World Tag Team Champion duo have slipped into obscurity over the past few years...After several "try-out" matches with WWE, both returned to the indy scene, trying to increase their solo games... With little success, a phone call and meeting with Joseph Creed tempted these two to rekindle their tag team chemistry as they face perhaps their toughest challenge, The Hillbilly Wrecking Crew!!!!

UP IN SMOKE (Cheech/Cloudy) - The former Special K members, trying to find their rhythm again, feel that LWE is the perfect place to do that. In fact, Up In Smoke member Cheech posted this on the LWE message board earlier, "There are many great tag teams in LWE, y be who it is, 'cuz they are all gonna go UP IN SMOKE!!!"

For the following division, I will only be releasing the information on the participants who will be competing in the 6Pack Challenge for the inaugural LWE Light Heavyweight Championship at VERTIGO1 on November 1st.

ALEX KOSLOV (5'9", 190 lbs) - After having a shortened tenure in TNA, including competing on Team International in the World X Cup competition, he traveled to Mexico, where he formed a successful team with Sean Waltman and Rocky Romero, nicely called D-Generation Mex....He also captured the inaugural AAA Cruiserweight Title after winning a tournament. Can lightning strike twice, as he competes for the LWE Light Heavyweight Title??? Find out November 1st.

SHANNON MOORE (5'9", 175 lbs) - Traveled to Europe after bbeing released from WWE, where he got his 1st taste of HEAVYWEIGHT Title gold as he won the World Stars of Wrestling Heavyweight Title by defeating Joe E. Legend. On November 1, he will be looking to connect with his Halo finisher, a twisting corkscrew moonsault press.

HUMAN TORNADO (6'4", 171 lbs) - After a dislocated kneecap kept him on the sidelines for a year, he returned with a vengeance, attempting to regain the PWG Title that was stripped from him. Now, he has his sights set on a new goal: the LWE Light Heavyweight Championship.

LUKE HAWX (6'1", 197 lbs) - The "Southern Stomper" has been branching out lately, competing mostly in the Texas region, which is where he met Joseph Creed after a show, and struck a deal that would have him no longer need to travel doing many shows a week for many different promotions, and instead can focus his energies on becoming the cornerstone of LWE.

SUPER CRAZY (5'8", 215 lbs) - Been working in Mexico sonce being released by WWE. AAA wanted him in their ranks, but were unsuccessful in recruiting him....Legacy Wrestling Enterprises founder Joseph Creed traveled to Mexico for a meeting with the "Insane Luchador" and invited him back to the United States, and offered him a home in LWE....Crazy accepted, and find out November 1 how much he will use this opportunity to get back to greatness.

SONJAY DUTT (5'8", 185 lbs) - "The Original Playa From The Himalaya" has had a roller coaster past couple of years. He left TNA after a new contract agreement could not be reached. He developed a blood clot in his knee, that could have cost him his life had it not been found in time.........After extensive rehabilitation, the Bombay native has chosen to make his return on November 1st at VERTIGO1 and looks to etch his name in history by becoming the inaugural LWE Light Heavyweight Champion.

There you have it, a look at SOME of the contracted talent that Joseph Creed has acquired throughout his international travels. I hope you all will check out VERTIGO1, and see how JIM CORNETTE performs as TNA D.O.A. Plus, watch as The Hillbilly Wrecking Crew takes on The Naturals and 6 of the greatest light heavyweights in the world battle for the LWE Light Heavyweight Championship. Finally, Mike Dibiase takes on the son of a member of tag team ROYALTY, "Maverick" Dakota Darsow!!!!

Can't wait until November 1st!!!!

Please leave feedback, again both positive and negative, and let me know if this is a better direction than the one I was going in. Once again, please check out VERTIGO1 and ALL LWE shows right here in the Legacy Wrestling Enterprises thread here at WZ Forums!!!
