NEW TV CHAMPION TO BE CROWNED
ON CHAMPIONSHIP THURSDAY!

“Championship Thursday” returns to IMPACT WRESTLING on
Spike TV this Thursday with an added wrinkle; there is no
defending champion.*Negotiations between TNA’s current
TV Champion Devon and TNA have been ongoing over the
last month and have reached an impasse.* As of today,
the TNA TV Championship last held by Devon is vacated.*

Usually, in the “Championship Thursday” format, four challengers
meet with IMPACT WRESTLING GM Hulk Hogan and plead their
case as to why they deserve the shot at the champion.*This month,
one of the four men is guaranteed to be the new TV Champion! The
challengers selected to compete in this “Championship Thursday”
are Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff, Magnus and Mr. Anderson.
Hulk will hear these men’s arguments why they should be the one to
get the title shot and then Hogan will make the hard decision of which
two will face off.

A new TV champion will be crowned LIVE on IMPACT!

Last week on IMPACT, the Aces and Eights invited Hulk Hogan
to come and meet with them face to face on their own turf, in their
clubhouse. Hogan agreed to their demands before they brutally
attacked Joseph Park.

What will happen this Thursday on Impact? Will Hogan still enter
enemy territory with Aces and Eights? Plus, we hope to find out the
latest on Joseph Park's physical condition.

But let's be honest — he was pretty much murdered on live television.

Will "TNA Gut Check" prospect Evan Markopolous earn a contract
and a spot on the TNA roster?

The newcomer faces the judging trio of Bruce Prichard, Al Snow,
and Taz on this broadcast.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TNA World Champion Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy will both
appear on Thursday's telecast. Less than 3 weeks ago from their
TNA World Title Match at Bound For Glory, what will happen
next in this developing rivalry between the champ and the
BFG Series winner?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All this and much more on Thursday's IMPACT WRESTLING
broadcast LIVE at 8/7c on SpikeTV

The road to the October 14th Bound For Glory Pay-Per-View event continues!

I cannot wait for our normal Impact coverage guy to get back. Doing play-by-play for Wrestlezone just takes way-the-fuck too much concentration.

Well he is the GM of the company trying to put together their most important PPV of the year. It would make sense to have a heavy hogan show.

Not when there is younger talented who could benefit from getting build to the biggest show of the year.

*Cough* X-Division *Cough*

About time that Sting came back to the Aces & Eights storyline, it made no sense for Hogan to be the focus.

ion was in a match 2 weeks ago where they mentioned how he seems to injure people in his matches. I have a feeling we might finally get the rematch we've been waiting for.

That Hogan "Wow!" reminded me of Flair's reaction to Jay Lethal saying "oldest ride, longest line" a few years ago. Still one of my all-time favorite moments in TNA history.

Or started a month later, the storyline began the night after slammiversary. the storyline should end with a match at BFG since it was a major storyilne, same goes for the BFG series.

Love how they have handled chavo. You can't complain that he was given an extreme ex-wwe push that some others used to get.

Is this match really going into a 3-way tag match? Why give this away for free on Impact, and then expect people to buy it at Bound for Glory? The tag belts being on the line..?

I was actually pretty excited about this triple threat. :suspic:

How exactly has it helped? It's taking away time from a Mid-Card title that put the company on the map and has talent to offer, and is clearly overshadowing the Main Event picture and has left plenty of other people off the shows for the last couple of weeks.

Nobody has cared about the X-Division in a LONG time and they're just spinning their wheels until Sorensen comes back since they have a storyline with him and Ion. There's bound to be more dissention between Hardy and Aries with their tag match tonight. I'm not going to cry and complain because they left guys like Anderson, Joe, and Magnus off a couple of show because they weren't doing much to begin with.
