Idea for Celebrity Wing Inductee

I have been strolling down memory lane and listening to The Wrestling Album and Piledriver. I think Rick Derringer's musical contributions should land him a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Real American alone is a classic; but, throw in Demolition's theme, Rock N Roll Hoochie Koo and other easily recognizable contributions--I think he would be a worthy addition.

Definitely a good topic and a good idea.

I don't think it would be a stretch to induct some of the "backstage" people who really helped churn out some memorable stuff. Derringer definitely falls into this category and obviously falls into the "celebrity" category. They could even start to move toward inducting some folks like Motorhead. I mean ... if Pete Rose can get in the celebrity wing, these guys should be no-brainers.

Two people I would like to see inducted into the Celebrity Wing is Donald Trump and Mr T.

Wrestlemanias IV and V were held at Trump Plaza, and Trump appeared in a major storyline at Wrestlemania ("Battle Of The Billionaires")

Mr T had matches at WM I and II, and also appeared during the early years of WWF.

Sounds like Mr. T was a doucher, but that could just be the opinion I heard.

I agree with Trump though. His involvement/contributions have spanned decades and been huge each time. Good call!
