AJ Lee Gone From WWE

Also, I can't wait for the backstage scuttle to come out that this was totally unexpected and she basically pulled a CM Punk on them after getting a WM pay day.

This might get some heat but here is my opinion...

AJ Lee threw her dream job away for a man. Point. Blank. Period.

She fits every stereotype that 'independent' women try their hardest to fight against having.

This was a girl whose dream was to become a WWE wrestler. Her favorite wrestler was Lita. Her dreams come true. And what happens? She steals her hero's man (who just so happened to be the top guy in the company at the time) and has since stopped caring about her job and put all her focus onto one man.

Seriously if Punk was still with WWE, would she be retiring? Of course not. Unless there's some serious injury we don't know about, this is obviously the case.

This is why I didn't care for AJ whining about Divas' statuses in the company. AJ Lee was someone who came blasting onto the scene in the Punk/Bryan program. She showed then that a "Diva" could be a vital part of the program and give the fans entertaining stuff. She went on to become the face of the division, holding the title for a long period of time, having quality matches, and doing well in the men's storylines she was apart of. If she stuck with it she could have helped get the Divas out of this negative light and bought the division to new heights in the post Trish/Lita era.

Instead, she pissed it all away. For a man. Now, as a man, I don't care, but if I was a woman? I'd hold some serious resentment towards AJ for this. But oh well. Good riddance.

Legitimate question: Is there any AJ match aside from the one against Kaitlyn at Payback that was really that good? Her ones with Paige never really seemed to reach the level they should at all, probably because at the time whatever the Bellas were doing with Steph got more time.

To this day I still don't get how she's any better in the ring than her peers. She 'sells' better because she look like a stickman that can break if the wind blows harder. She's not as athletic as some of the fitness model divas who can pull off flippy flop moves. I don't know enough about in ring psychology in short matches to comment but I highly doubt it is any better than Kaitlyn back then when. Her best asset is her mic skills. And she looks hot like all the models of course.

Yeah, won't be surprised if the same thing happens here. With AJ gone for good, maybe this finally forces WWE to bring up Charlotte and Sasha Banks, among a couple of others. This will probably turn out to be a really good thing.

Paige was spoken of the same way. She is rocking the world in those 3 minute RAW matches and fluff matches on PPV, ain't she.


What you should be hoping for is for Paige to go BACK to NXT.

As I have said before, I would love to know were everyone is getting access to the WWE's current financial structure.

Do they get paid more than the bellas? Probably no. More than Cameron? Fuck outta here they don't. Especially with the touring and growth of the brand.

This is true. She and Paige had that pretty awesome feud but the focus was entirely on Brie vs. Stephanie and then Brie vs. Nikki.
