Craig has done other roles between Bond films. The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, Cowboys & Aliens to name a couple. Why can't he do Expendables 3?

Jason Statham is in it, he's just as current as Daniel Craig. And Liam Hemsworth is in it (in fact, he's the first guy listed on Expendables 2's IMDB page), and he was born in 19 fucking 90. Clearly current/old isn't an issue (which is shouldn't be, they need young guys to mix in with the old guys).

There's quite a difference between Daniel Craig and Statham. Statham's an action star, through and through. That's what he does... just like Stallone, Arnold, JCVD, Seagal, etc. He's the same as those guys, and that's why he fits. Craig is just a different type of movie star, and really doesn't fit this kind of film.
