Ziggler should have shook HHH hand.

Anyone else wish Ziggler accepted the Authorities offer? I was waiting for him to shake HHH's hand. Why not? His reaction is getting weaker and weaker every week. They have killed him so much from where he was a year ago. Why not turn on the fans , the comedy shows, the catch phrases and clothes and acknowledge that his way hasn't worked and it's time for that push and if it's with some help then so be it. Man that would have been refreshing for his character. But yet again the same boring stuff from the WWE. I'd have Ziggler, Owens and Cesaro all accept the Authorities offer. Have them be The Authorities "Contenders". Full expensive suits and limos. Of course the heel run leads to big face turns for all three.

Yeah. Let's turn every face and heel around every month or so. It'd be much more interesting.

Oh and I love your idea about the "Contenders" because they haven't tried that recently or anything. How's LON doing by the way?

Ziggler has never been able to get over as much as people around here wish he'd had, despite them trying. For multiple years. And frankly, he's been phoning it in for at least a year now. Would he try harder if they gave him this push you were talking about? Probably. Would it work as well as people like you wish it would? No. They've tried already.

Dolph Ziggler will never be over, most people know him as Nicky from the Spirit Squad, not many guys can actively get over being in a rubbish gimmick at the start of their career, especially if they have the charm of a Carrot and personality of a Gnat.

Ziggler is stale. He's been a face for almost 3 years. A heel turn by joining The Authority might be what's needed.

I don't know if there's any saving Ziggler at this point. Ziggler has been one of WWE's most over babyfaces for almost four years, but Vince takes every opportunity to bury him. Now his crowd reactions are dwindling, because the audience won't continually go nuts for a guy they KNOW is going to lose every major match he's in. More than any other Superstar in WWE history, Dolph Ziggler was royally screwed and his career sabotaged because of Vince's intense hatred of him.

You're all presuming The Authority will be around after WrestleMania. Where's your sense of wonder?!

Also, hindsight is a bitch. Once you've seen what it was, it can always be improved on. Accept, and anticipate.

Quite frankly, I'd enjoy a heel Ziggler vs Kalisto more than Ryback vs Kalisto for the US title at Wrestlemania.

However Ryback vs Kalisto is set and Ziggler joining the Authority now doesn't really help him or makes any difference. What would have been great is this:

Roman helps Ziggler win and Ziggler picks to be in the IC title match.

Seriously, why didn't Roman cost HHH his match here? It would actually buy him some cheers. Roman helping a common mortal beat the almighty king, plus the beatdown, would have been gold. Missed opportunity here.

Eh, Ziggler's a shitty heel in my opinion. He'd probably be very good if he actually committed to being a heel, but throughout his turns, nothing has really changed with him. Same promo style, same basic formula in the ring, same mannerisms and facials, etc. I always thought Dolph would have been great in that chicken-shit Seth Rollins role, but he just doesn't seem to get it. To be honest, I don't think Ziggler truly gets his own character.

Ziggler has always come across as the red headed stepchild to me, or a whiner taker your pick. Yes he might have been passed over in favour of other talents, but so have a lot of other people.

Don't think he makes such a great heel either. He's good in the ring, but the constant whining about his place on the card kind of bothers me. Might be what they tell him to say, but he's on TV almost every week, and others would love to have that position. The boat has sailed on Ziggler getting a push, if they didn't do it after Survivor Series last year, and with all the injuries this year it's never going to happen.

Doubtful Roman can help him, Roman needs all the help he can get himself.

I don't see the advantage in turning Ziggler heel. But, I am starting to wonder what is gained by keeping him face.

I like Ziggler, I want to LOVE Ziggler ... but, I just don't ever feel like he is evolving. I would like to see him have a super-serious and meaningful feud with someone like HHH. One where you assume Ziggler is just a place-holder jobber and he goes over. I think having him beat HHH on Monday with a distraction of Roman Reigns just on the ramp could have worked. It could have helped give him more of a bump as someone who can win matches against anyone if the cards fall right.

I just don't know what to do with Ziggler right now. He could be a solid player in a brand split. He is obviously an exceptionally hard worker and, for the most part, a company man. I just don't know if he can get over the hump.

i would like to see a full-heel Ziggler, too, but I think that most are missing the point of Monday's segment. They wanted the crowd to shit on HHH for going over one of their beloved, so that they would already be against HHH by the time Reigns showed up. It was an attempt to tilt the reaction by pre-heating the crowd against HHH. Or so it seemed to me. And... it didn't work.

I like Ziggler, but he needs a change.

Honestly, I think that when Lesnar goes back on a hiatus, making Ziggler a Paul Heyman Guy would be beneficial for him, whether it's as a face or heel. I know it didn't work for Ryback or Curtis Axel, but one thing Ziggler has behind him is that he's been successful before. He's been a World Champion. Give him Heyman and a feud with a legit main eventer, maybe a returning Randy Orton, and he could get a good rub and get over again.

I agree with another poster that I think the crowd hasn't backed him as much not because they don't like him, but because they know he won't go anywhere. I think if they give him something like Heyman and/or the MITB briefcase again would help his career, and with the MITB, if he isn't as over as they'd like, they have him lose the title opportunity.

Ziggler to me already seems like an obnoxious tool who is easy to dislike with his cocky HBK/Mr. Ass hybrid character, so a heel turn might be good for him. They may be beyond any chance to make a turn significant with him though, they've buried him so many times much like the Wyatt's that fans may not even care anymore.

Dolph is one of many guys who IMO was pushed to the upper half of the card too quickly and now the crowd has become tired of them due to lack of direction (or total dissapearance) following up on the initial push or not deserving the push in the first place. Ex. Miz, the entire League of Nations, Bray, Cody Rhodes, DiBiase Jr., Khali, Ryback etc.
I guess I shouldn't say that the push happened too fast but the de-push came way too fast. I'm not the typical anti Cena mark because I don't pretend he is an awful wrestler like some, but look at that list and look how many guys were fed to Cena who are now in creative limbo.

Every point you made was wrong, in my humble opinion.
1. Dolph Ziggler is, and has been, over.
2. I doubt anyone "knows" him as Nicky from the Spirit Squad. Thats like saying that everyone knows Bray as Husky Harris, or everyone knows Ryback as whatever the fuck his name was in Nexus.....
3. As much as I hate his actual speaking voice, you cant say that he has absolutely no personality or charisma. You cant pull off a cocky gimmick without charisma. Ask Luger

Ziggler absolutely should have shook Triple H's hand. I loved watching the two of them go at it, its actually a match Ive been wanting to see for a couple years now. If anyones been "held down" by the Authority, its Ziggler. Im hoping he does eventually shake Triple H's hand. But with all the superstars that are out right now set to come back, I doubt we ever see Dolph reach the main event again

I've been a huge Ziggler supporter for 6 years now. I wanted Ziggler to join the Authority. I thought it would have been a fresh start for his character and it also would have led to a good feud between Ziggler & Seth Rollins down the line. However, I thought their match came off very well. Though, I would have had Roman help Ziggler win.

Ziggles should have turned there I agree. If they don't want to make him a top tier heel, then at least tag him up with Breeze and get a great new heel tag team.

Too bad there is no Daniel Bryan when you need him...then Reigns Problem will never exist.

I can't really imagine who HHH need to beat to give Reigns cheers at Mania. Zack Gowen maybe, but then HHH and WWE will be in huge trouble. Wm is actually only 2 weeks away, so who do you think HHH will beat (max to 4 guys - RAWs + SDs)?
1 should probably be AJ Styles, but who else?

Donald Trump, during a press conference. Roman can't take it anymore and spears him off the podium. Then he might get a few more cheers come Mania.

So the IWC wants DB and his 5 moves because they hate Roman Reigns? Smh, predictable response from some of the dumbest people on the Internet.

People who would literally shit themselves if CM Punk showed up on any given episode of Raw, especially if it had been last week in Chicago.
