Zack Ryder intentionally left off of RAW as a rib?

Please stop bringing up that Zack Ryder and Christian have had a good match. Christian can have a good match with anybody like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan can also. Abyss, Brodus Clay(Though it was short, it was good) & Randy Orton(He's in no way a bad wrestler it's just that he was more or less, in a slump at that stage.) are shining examples of people that Christian has pulled a good match out of.

I'm just saying, Dreamer isn't the best in-ring worker. He is solid enough to get by, but he is getting older and was about to leave, plus he wasn't the best in-ring worker in his prime. He isn't going to put on the best matches. Of course Ryder isn't the most experienced, but putting on sloppy matches with Dreamer, all of the blame can't go on one guy.

Yet during his last year of the ECW run ryder was the only person dreamer had sloppy matches with. Don't be using a scapegoat.

ECW was almost two years ago though.

That is a very sound point, but it doesn't change the fact it was a good match. And it is very hard to have a good match due to one person. Both have to contribute. It can be done, but it is hard.

I wouldn't say he was the only one. They weren't as many as some would lead you to believe but he had more than the ones with Ryder.

True. But people want to bring it up as Ryder "failing", so I'll defend it.

Stop with the Ryder love. He didn't make the damn gimmick, WWE did. They could've given Curt Hawkins the exact same gimmick and we'd probably have the same result. Zack is expendable, simple as that.

It doesn't matter how we got to this point. What matters is the interest Zack has produced independently, which at the very least merits a real chance. That's the bottom line on this argument. How anyone can take an opposing stance to that or make more of this than that is beyond me.

Is it possible, yes. Did it happen, no. Besides, how many other people do you know could succeed as a gimmick as ridiculous as his? Hardly any. Yet he is trying his hardest to make it succeed and that warrants a chance on TV; especially for someone as charismatic as Ryder, who has in-ring skills as well.

This plus anyone who watched Raw on Monday (Marella's match) heard the Ryder chants. HUGE chants and I don't like Ryder.

Heck look on twitter at the moment with this val venis thing. Ryder's got a lot of people interested.

Zack does deserve a spot on television yes. As Coco said he got attention for himself independently and that warrants a chance but the way his fans react to him is absolutely ridiculous. The rib was 100% a scumbag thing to do if it is true. Zack is very promising but so are other undercard superstars like Hawkins, Barretta & Masters but they're not being treated like some sort of messiah like how Zack is and that's what really irritates me.

But his YouTube shows made a couple of snide remarks, he wrestled a couple sloppy matches on ECW two years ago, and was in a tag team upon debut that wasn't booked to be the focus point of a stable. So he must suck, why give him chance? That'd, you know, make sense.

So basically, Zack Ryder's last memorable match was 2 years ago. Gotcha.

...Um no, Ryder came up with his own gimmick actually. He's stated this several times. His entire gimmick was his own idea based on his experiences living in Long Island.

WWE didn't come up with jack shit.

It really wouldn't though. When was his last good match? ECW 2 years ago.
Snide remarks on youtube is bad form to be honest, when Fatt hardy was doing it we were all bashing him.

I give praise to Hawkins and Barreta, just not as much as Ryder because Ryder has proven to show better in-ring work to me (not just technical stuff, but psychology, working the crowd, etc..) and has proven himself as charismatic. Hawkins had a Youtube show for awhile but it didn't get going. Hawkins and Barreta are great as well, they just haven't shown as much as Ryder.

Masters is good as well, but he has already proven himself in 2005/2006 in his first WWE run. Ryder hasn't had the shot yet.

No, he had a bunch of great ones on Superstars. But yeah, who watches it?

Wow. So what you're saying is people gravitate passionately to some people and not others? Shocking.

You know, when a woman turns me down, I find that one of the best things I can do is go out of my way to rant about how I have as much potential as the guy(s) she likes. That normally fixes everything.

He's had plenty on Superstars, look them up.

There is a difference. Hardy was a crybaby. Ryder is doing an entertainment webshow and making a few jokes out of his treatment. There is a HUGE difference there.

Link me, I'd like some genuine examples, I'm not watching every superstars in the hope of finding a nugget in a pile of shit.

There really isn't.

There really isn't.

There really is. Hardy was ranting and raving. His videos had no production value to speak of, and they were not meant to be funny. The intention of Matt Hardy's videos were not to get him noticed, they were to vent his frustration with his position in the company.

Ryder, on the other hand, has been using his videos to give himself some visibility in the WWE, and he's been doing it to great success. He does skits and bits that help break up the monotony of listening to him talk about his position in the WWE, which he only does briefly during his shows.

There's a reason superstars like Ziggler, Cena, and Jericho have been throwing their weight behind Ryder, and it's because his videos aren't your run of the mill whining, they're pure entertainment with a touch of editorializing.

Ryder's Z True LI Story is an extension of the gimmick. Matt Hardy on Youtube iis a fat washed up asshole complaining about everything but himself.

There really isn't.

Hardy downed the WWE at every chance, talking about how he should quit.

Ryder does a show to try and push his character, while advertising the company, and pushing his character to succeed. If you cannot see the difference you are blind.
