youtube.

a video uploading site where people can upload whatever ******ed video they have on their camera that week it's also a great forum for unknown bands as well as bands of not popular genres to post their songs so they can get exposure. I recently used youtube to fins 2 of my new favorite electronic bands in Orbital & Nero.

Although there is a lot of stupid stuff on youtube it is one of my favorites ways to find new music from any genre.

What do you think about Youtube?

have you used it to find new music?

I love YT. I'm on it probably every day if not every other day. I love seeing how people make their own vids (tributes, etc.) to music. I've tried a few times to make my own and upload them, but I always get some bs about copyright. Which is really weird how some can use the music and get away with it and others can't.

I have used to find a number of songs. It's helpful in that case.

Youtube is a great place to look for music. In the past couple of years it has become the first place I go to look for a song. I will often have a window open with a few songs I like looked up on youtube ready to play while I do stuff online like checking the forum or reading people's statuses on facebook. Youtube has countless songs uploaded in videos and that more than makes up for a lot of the trash found there. The only downside is that every now and then you'll find a bunch of live concert videos or covers when you simply want the cd track. That gets annoying sometimes because I never listen to covers unless I know the band doing the cover and I always prefer cd recordings over live concert videos.

Dude, what the fuck is this? Seriously, I expected some sort of commentary on YouTube's relation to the music industry here, but instead it's just you saying "YouTube exists, I like it, do you like it?"

That's boring as fuck. Sorry but this thread is going to the scrap-heap fellas. Put some serious thought into threads in the future dude.
