Raw begins with a highlights package about Bret Hart, showing his career, and then the screwjob. We go into the arena, and Bret Hart makes his entrance.
Promo (0 minutes into the show)
Bret Hart delivers a heartfelt promo about how he has put everything in the past behind him, and how that he is back today not to settle old scores, but to bury the hatchet, and to encourage a new generation of Harts that can follow in his, and his brother Owen's footsteps

Michaels makes his way to the ring.
Promo 2 (5 minutes)
Michaels says that he was pressed into Montreal and that he is truly sorry for what he did. He says he didn't screw Bret, but Bret didn't either. The people that did do it, know who they are. He says that he robbed Bret of a title that day, and he'll gladly offer him a shot at his tag title, if he wants it.
Bret declines, but says that it wasn't only him that was robbed of a title that day, but the whole Hart family. Bret is too old for a title reign, or attempt, but he knows a team that are young enough and good enough and makes tonight's tag team title match a three way between JeriShow, DX and the Hart Dynasty.
COMMERCIALS
We return from commercials, and Cole and Lawler break the sad news that Dr Death has passed, and talk briefly about his career. They talk about the match for later on, but say that there is a huge match, and its up next.
Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton (11 minutes)
Match: An intense match that goes back and forward for about 12 minutes, with both sides getting in a decent amount of offence in, and with a commercial break midway through. Legacy are ringside throughout the match.
Ending: Kingston has momentum and does boom drop, but Orton rolls out of the way, Cody Rhodes picks up a chair, and attempts to give it to Orton, who is now standing leaning on the ropes. Ted DiBiase rips the chair from Rhodes' hands, and the pair argue. Orton watches them argue and turns into a Trouble in Paradise. Kofi gets the three count, and the win.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Promo 3 (26 minutes)
Chris Jericho enters Bret Hart's office. The two exchange pleasantries, before Jericho starts berating Hart for putting his family before the deserving. He calls Hart "nothing but a neopotistic bottom feeder who is reliant on the past." He says people like Hart and Edge make him glad he wasn't born in Canada, because they both had injury problems, and he's never been injured. Hart says if it's nepotism Jericho wants, it's nepotism he'll get. He puts Natalya into a divas tournament match, explaining that Melina is injured, and makes himself guest referee for the tag match. Hart then tells Jericho to get out.
Hart shoos him out of the office and Chavo appears. Chavo tells Hart that he's sick and tired of being screwed every week. It started with Hornswoggle, but it's gotten worse. Hart books Chavo into a loser leaves Raw match with Hornswoggle on that week's superstars.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Natalya vs Gail Kim (Divas' tournament, 36 minutes)
Short, but high octane match with both ladies having a good deal of offense.
Finish: Kim goes for a missile dropkick, but Natalya catches her and puts her in the sharpshooter. Kim taps out, and Natalya wins.
Promo 4 (41 minutes)
Miz heads towards the ring, and before he gets there, there is a commercial break.
We return to the commercial break, and Miz has reached the ring. He cuts a promo saying that he is the best the WWE has to offer, and he has had enough of the nobodies on Raw trying to get his title. He issues an open challenge to anyone from anywhere to answer.

Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.
Bryan Danielson vs The Miz (US Title, 49 minutes)
A very quick match, where Danielson catches Miz off-guard and gets in a lot of offense. Miz mounts a comeback, only for Danielson to hit a dragon suplex for the pinfall victory
Cole and Lawler shit their pants about there being a new US Champion, and say that Sheamus will be up after the break.
Promo 5 (55 minutes)
Sheamus comes out with Carlito. Sheamus does most of the talking but they say that he is sick and tired of the old guard guys like Cena talking about how they are the main guys, and how guys like them are left in the cold. Sheamus had to force his way to the top, and he's going to help other people like him get what they deserve, and get rid of the hasbeens, starting with his opponent tonight.

A solid encounter, with both guys using power moves during periods of dominance in this 9 minute matchup.

It becomes apparant, that this isn't John Cena. It's MVP.
Promo 6 (72 minutes)
MVP asks the audience if they were expecting someone else? He says that it is typical, because it is always John Cena getting the exposure and not guys like him. He says that Henry was just another one of the has beens holding back the young guys, and implores Sheamus to carry on with the beatdown. He says if Cena wants the title back, he'll have to go through him first. Bret Hart appears on the titantron and confirms MVP vs John Cena for next week's Raw
COMMERCIAL
Promo 7 (78 minutes)
Backstage and we see Legacy arguing. Ted says he's sick of doing Randy's dirty work, and that Randy left them on their own so why should Randy have to fend for himseld. Randy says that Ted wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for him, Cody is trying to calm them both down.
We go back to the ring and the commentators pass comment. And hype the main event

Promo 8 (81 minutes)
Swagger says that he is the most dominant physical specimen in the WWE today, and that he could easily beat any challenge that anyone in the WWE sets. To prove it, he calls out Chris Masters and asks to perform the Masterlock challenge. Masters appears and obliges. It doesn't look like Swagger will get out, but then he swings his leg back, cracking Masters in the bollocks, and breaking free. He begins to celebrate, then Masters hits back. The two brawl in the ring and are separated by officials.
COMMERCIAL
Primo vs Evan Bourne (89 minutes)
A high octane match, with both guys pulling off some pretty huge spots. The commentators big up how now there's a new US Champion, either one of these guys could stake a claim to being the next number one contender with a win tonight.
Finish: Primo runs at Bourne, but is levelled near the corner by Bourne. Shooting star press, Bourne wins. The two shake hands.

Something like that anyway. It ends with a text thing that says "Kaval, coming soon to Raw"
Promo 10 (102 minutes)
In Hart's office, he is giving the Hart Dynasty a pep talk. He says he'll make sure that Jericho won't cheat, but he will not give them preferential treatment. As he is saying that, HBK walks in and says he is glad to hear that. Bret leaves the room and is immediately heard to be screaming. HBK and the Hart Dynasty leave the room, but they don't see the assailant. It looks like Hart won't make the main event, which is up next.
COMMERCIAL
Hart Dynasty vs D-Generation X vs JeriShow (110 minutes)
The match begins at a ferocious pace, with a few signatures in the first few minutes. The teams then get a steady flow to the match, as it spans a commercial break. About half way through, Jericho mistimes a dive out of the ring, and the momentum carries him into Big Show and DH Smith through a table, they do not feature for a while.
Finish: HHH places Kidd into the Sharpshooter. Vince McMahon comes running down the ramp, telling the official to ring the bell, Triple H smiles, as he is clearly in cahoots with Vince. The referee does nothing, so HHH gives him a pedigree and signals to Vince to get another official. Michaels, disgusted by the actions of his partner, enters the ring, and gives HHH sweet chin music, then gives one to Vince, then leaves the arena visibly upset. Meanwhile, Jericho is up outside the ring. Jericho gets into the ring and hits the codebreaker on Tyson Kidd. He's about to go for the pin, when...

Edge runs down to the ring and attacks Jericho. The two begin to exchange blows heading up the ramp. Big Show, seeing this, gets up and slowly goes to the aid of his partner. DH Smith and Vince are out cold outside the ring, and HHH, the referee and Tyson Kidd are down inside it. Shawn Michaels, reappears, this time supporting Bret Hart. He helps Hart down to the ring, looks on at his partner disgusted, and leaves the arena again. DH Smith gets up outside the ring, and creeps into it. He wakes up his partner, and then lifts TripleH. They hit the Hart attack and make the cover. Bret Hart slowly manages to count to three, and we have new Tag Team Champions. The Harts are joined by Natalya and celebrate. Vince comes around and does the classic "my plans have been ruined" Austin era face, as Raw ends with 4 Harts lifting their arms and new titles aloft.
