Your Title 5

Warrior

Its Been a while
i was just thinking about about the importance of the world title and got to thinking.every one has their favorite wrestlers but who is title worthy? This thread is to find the 5 people you want to see with the TNA Title. Also why and how will it happen.

For Me its

Chris Daniels
The Best Wrestler in TNA that hasn't won the world title. He deserves more than AJ at this point.I will say that he is my favorite wrestler.I would turn him face and have him go after AJ.Angle would mentor him like flair for AJ.he would try to gain the fans praise for mouths while trying to take the title from AJ.Around august he would finally win the title from AJ.Maybe he could even main event Bound for Glory with Jeff and AJ.

Jeff Hardy
From his last run with TNA i felt he has some unfinished business.I really don't have a great story behind it but hes one of the best of all time so he deserves it.

Matt Morgan
My favorite big man.I hate that he teaming with Supermex. He should get a push as hogans go-to-guy.Heel or face doesn't really matter because he's very good at both.

Desmond Wolfe
What can i say, pure skill. It's clear he watched a lot of wrestling. He could work with any one and put on a good match every time.He should have the title by AGAINST ALL ODDS next year.

Mr. Anderson
I have been a fan forever and was pissed when he was released from wwe.I know he just got their but i see a good future for him.Anderson V.S Angle or even Anderson V.S Sting sound great to me

Well theirs mine.looking forward to some good post
(BY The Way this is my first thread)

I'd like to see Daniels win it even if he has it for a short time. He reminds me of Benoit before he won the title @ Wrestlemania. I don't know if he'll get the opportunity with the current TNA though, but here's hoping.

I was surprised that Matt Morgan wasn't the first one to step forward to challenge AJ. It seemed after his matches against Kurt and AJ, that Matt was headed for main event status. Now both his & Supermex's push are on hold. I don't want to see AJ & Joe again, but I understand TNA's decision there.

Nigel McGuiness...um...Desmond Wolfe should eventually become champion. He was a pretty good champion in ROH. He was injury prone though. I wish he'd do his Jawbreaker Lariat.

Mr. Anderson...meh. I've never been big on him. I really don't know what the fuss is about. Hopefully, he stays healthy & is able to put on quality matches & segments for TNA.

(This is not in any particular order)

Robert Roode
He is the first TNA original I liked. I love Beer Money, and I don't think they should be splitting up anytime soon. But at the same time I would love to see Roode eventually get the TNA title. So I see an eventual feud with Storm, which hopefully would bring both of them closer to the main event scene.

Daniels
To be honest, I didn't like him the first time I saw him, but he grew on me. I think I like him better as a heel than a face, since he just seems to have more of a personality. I don't base my favorite wrestlers on their wrestling ability but I still think Daniels is insanely good. I like the idea of him feuding with AJ again, if Daniels does turn face. Then hopefully he'll get the title.

Tomko
I'm a huge Tomko fan, I'd love to see him as champ. He came back into TNA with the angle that he was attacking AJ, then AJ just turns heel so that was totally dropped? Right before he left TNA for WWE, he was starting a feud with Matt Morgan. I wanted to see that feud, and maybe they could use it to gain momentum, eventually getting Tomko contender ship for the title somewhere down the line.

Anderson
Alright he hasn't been there for very long, and a lot of people don't like him. Well I'm a fan anyway, and I think he has been great in TNA so far. I think he should be in a few more feuds before he's even in a title match though, because he's still a very recent roster addition.

Hernandez
I really love watching him wrestle. I agree that I don't like the Morgan/Hernandez tag team (though I like both wrestlers), and I kind of just want that to end. I really can't think of how I'd push him right now. But he needs to get out of the tag division, yet again, before he can get the title

The one choice I'm not so sure about is Jeff. He's on the Jan 4 episode and then he hasn't been seen since. This is probably due to the legal issues he's facing. Hopefully he gets that all cleared up okay. And if it does clear up, and he does really stay in the company, then I wouldn't mind seeing him champ either.

Robert Roode- He has the classic heel look along with the classic robe. He has the classic heel mic skills. He has the classic heel persona. Overall, he looks like a cut and paste from the 80s and star is written all over him. After his stint with Beer Money, I want to see TNA exploit him and make him a star and make loads of money off of him. I also think this man can stand to benefit from a Ric Flair rub more than anyone on the TNA roster.

Bobby Lashley-Yeah lots of people don't like him for the fact that he's dedicated to MMA but I think he's a smart signing. He can be a huge homerun if MMA goes successful for him and he can really develop into a household name and take TNA to another level of mainstream. He has the look, the build, the endorsements, an MMA following, a WWE following. Lashley can bring good business to TNA if exploited right

Hernandez- Hernandez is just the man. He's big, he's agile, and just very talented. Also he is Latino and can bring a Latino audience to TNA like how Rey does in the WWE. He can really help TNA grow with the Latino audience and this man just works so hard. It's time for him to win the world title.

Desmond Wolfe- What can I say. This man is just charima. Charisma is written all over him. Not to mention, this man is from the UK and since TNA has a huge UK following, why not let this guy be the face of UK on TNA television. Desmond can wrestle, he can talk, he is that guy. TNA landed on gold with him and he can do plenty to help grow the company with his indy following and his UK roots.

The Pope- What can i say? This man is the next Rock. He's witty on the mic, he's likeable, he's over, he's caught on quick with the fans. In addition, his gimmick is original, people love the gimmick. Pope is Hope. Pope is the future. And just like Bobby, he has the potential to be the black face of wrestling like every other sport.

Btw, this is a great topic. Good reputation for the threadstarter on m behalf.

Robert Roode- For a long time he was my favorite heel of ANY promotion. Now he's a face and it's not so bad either. Another good heel turn, go back to the stockmarket guy thing, give him another valet (Ms. Brooks again would be fine, I suppose) and that's, well, money right there.

The Pope- Oh my god did WWE drop the ball with this guy or what? How awesome is The Pope turning out to be? Should I even ask another rhetorical question? The guy above me says the "next Rock"; heavy words, but I wouldn't put it past Pope for a minute.

Mr. Anderson- you got to face it, Anderson is their new star hotness. The only guy they've brought in, with the exception of Jeff Hardy who hasn't yet done much since returning, to still be a relevant and popular former WWE star. Barring an injury, I can not fathom for a moment that Anderson won't be a world champ at some point in 2010. His only problem is the same problem that Jericho and Taker have always had, namely that no matter how much of a heel they try to push him as, half the crowd is going to love him anyway.

Daniels- Somehow, for some reason, I like Daniels better as a face and that doesn't even make sense to me. If they can stop jobbing Daniels out to hasbeens for a second and restart his feud with AJ with the shoes on the other feet, I think it will be incredible, potentially a nominee for feud of the year. That and a face Daniels title run would be a decent transition to a heel Anderson title run.

Hernandez- Some people have complaints about his mic work, but to me Hernandez is one of the most exciting guys to watch in the ring and that more than makes up for it (not like being bad on the mic has really ever held a big man down). He's insanely strong, surprisingly agile, and can get people fired up: case in point, that awesome MEM/ME vs. everybody else giant brawl that ended with Hernandez swinging the chain in the middle of the ring. Awesome.

notable runner up- Mark Jindrak is wrestling for AAA right now (as Marco Corleone) and seems to be much better in the ring than when we saw him last in WWE. Since he's with AAA, he's probably working for peanuts (figuratively speaking) and TNA would be getting a great return on a minimal investment if they chose to pick him up. Maybe not world champ material, in my mind he's at least as good as Matt Morgan.

Jeff Hardy: Explanations aren't really needed considering how over this guy was. After Rock and Austin, the big reactions were gotten by Eddie Guerrero and that torch was passed to Jeff Hardy on his last WWE Run. He is entertaining, good in every aspect and granted he gets through his court issues, should be champion soon. Him Vs AJ = Awesome.

Hernandez - Supermex is my fave TNA guy out of all the long term wrestlers in the company. Granted its faded as he's become a typical wrestler in part of his push but still this guy is awesome to watch, scary strong and will be a good TNA World Champion.

Sting - My fav wrestler of all time can hold the belt and work well with it. I believe he should get another shot based mostly on my favortism towards him but also his appeal with the fans and the fact that he'll graciously lose it to whoever.

Angle - I cannot get enough of watching him wrestle. He is over, great on the mic, in the ring and can draw well. I know maybe its been a bit of an overkill with him with the TNA World Title but still he deserves it.

If all else fails, just keep it on AJ.

Eric Young: Has the potential to be the best promo man in the company. Needs a long push to get there, hopefully, Kevin Nash will put him there.

Robert Roode: Heel version. Like him a lot. Would love to see Chris Harris brought back into to reform AMW with Storm and the 3 of them form a stable.

Matt Morgan: I think it is only a matter of when not if with him.

Desmond Wolfe: Don't like his new look and they don't seem to want to give him interview time, but still is an entertaining wrestler in the ring.

Samoa Joe: Old version. He needs to go back to being the assasin version when he first started. I don't know that I have been as excited as I was when Joe and Angle had the match in the cage to end the series of 3 matches. Thought it was great then. Could be again.

I doubt that Daniels is going to be in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship scene anytime soon again. He's gone from main eventing the last few ppvs for the title to jobbing to Sean Morley and Hernandez. Daniels has fallen fast and fallen hard.

Jeff Hardy
From his last run with TNA i felt he has some unfinished business.I really don't have a great story behind it but hes one of the best of all time so he deserves it.

There's a real question as to whether Jeff Hardy actually is a member of the TNA roster. Last I heard, his picture wasn't up on TNA's website and he hasn't been seen since his brief appearance on January 4th. Also, the possibility has to be considered that Jeff Hardy might be heading to federal prison before too long.

Matt Morgan
My favorite big man.I hate that he teaming with Supermex. He should get a push as hogans go-to-guy.Heel or face doesn't really matter because he's very good at both.

Morgan has lost any and all momentum he'd gained as a singles wrestler. Like Daniels, Morgan's push to the top stopped quickly. He wrestles for the title at two ppvs and loses, wrestles Kurt Angle at the next ppv and lose, then he's placed squarely back in the mid-card scene as part of an eight man feud with Suicide, Hernandez and D'Angelo Dinero against the Dudleyz, Jesse Neal and Rhino that nobody gave a crap about. Now, he's one half of the tag champs with Hernandez so it's very doubtful that he's going to be TNA World Champ anytime soon.

Desmond Wolfe
What can i say, pure skill. It's clear he watched a lot of wrestling. He could work with any one and put on a good match every time.He should have the title by AGAINST ALL ODDS next year.

Of all these, Wolfe is easily the one with the best chance to be TNA World Champion anytime in the near future. He's got the skills in the ring, he's got the skills on the mic. He's also got momentum on his side.

Mr. Anderson
I have been a fan forever and was pissed when he was released from wwe.I know he just got their but i see a good future for him.Anderson V.S Angle or even Anderson V.S Sting sound great to me

Anderson is completely overrated and nothing he's done has shown me otherwise. The WWE gave him chance after chance after chance in spite of the fact that nearly half of the four years he spent in the WWE, he was on the shelf for one reason or another. Of all these listed, Anderson is the one with the most left to prove in my opinion. There are doubts about his physical durability, given the number of times he sustained injury that kept him out for months at a time in the WWE and there are doubts about his ability as accusations of clumsiness and not knowing how to protect himself in the ring have dogged him. I'm not saying that they're true or that everyone agrees with them, but I can't blame WWE for letting him go. They gave Anderson four years and little to nothing came about it. Two matches in TNA aren't nearly enough to prove he's got what it takes.

lets see in the next year I'd like to see one of these 5 get the belt...

Mr Anderson - now he has only been there two weeks, but still he looks like a star, and if he can have good matches and not getinjured I think he'll be one of TNA's main heels.

Desmond Wolfe - another great heel, fantastic wrestler, and also looks like a mega star in the making. I don't like his new long tights though...

D'Angelo Dinero - Tna does need a big face, with AJ, Angle, Wolfe, Anderson all being heels I think the company should really get behind this guy.

Jeff Hardy - Come on, if everything gets sorted out, no doubt he'll have the Title if he comes back to TNA. Still a real genuine player in wrestling and a draw I think he can be big for TNA.

Matt Morgan - Best big man around.

I was having this conversation w a friend earlier! Excellent thread topic. Ill list five, but have two favorites.

1. Dangelo Dinero- The guy is massively over, took his gimmick and ran with it, and can wrestle any style with anyone ive seen. sevrely misued in wwe, I fear the same in tna with him jobbing to orlando jordan two weeks ago on impact. He may be the best they have on the mic.

2. Desmond Wolfe- Another guy that has a great gimmick, and hasnt had a bad match sine coming to TNA. A heel vs heel match could work here because he could use his own heelish techniques to counter and possibly neutralize any of AJ/Flair's. I think it would be a wrestling clinic.

3. Daniels. I had a friend say their match at final resolution was the best match theylve ever seen. While I dont agree, I thought it was phenomenal, better then the three way between he joe and aj the month before. A face Daniels though, because hes so massively over.

4. Samoa Joe- Since it seems theyre going to tur him face again, and he and aj have had great matches in the past, this would make sense, but hes lost so much momentum in that he wasnt on the Genesis card(great job Hogan) and hasnt been on tv in a month except to job to wolfe in 3 and a half minutes. I know its the main event at against all odds, and he holds the feast or fired case, but its hard to imagine him taking the title since hes done nothing in the last 6 months.

5. Kurt Angle- I think the buildup is that he is eventually going to scratch and claw his way back to eventually taking the title from Styles. It goes without saying how good they work together, and living in Pittsburgh, Id love to see it, but would prefer Wolfe or Dinero. Great thread topic.

The Pope
The guy is golden. Might as well call him Midas. The guy has a great look, great promos, is fantastic in the ring and would be a great person to hold the title. Plus imagine the feud on the mic between Pope and Flair. Holy crap I would pay to watch those two debate. He's over with the fans and (not if) when he wins the title, the place will go nuts.

Desmond Wolfe
Aside from Pope, one of the guys Hogan and Eric are very big on. The guy (like Pope) is a great promo guy, wonderful in the ring and brings that level of intesnity that hasn't been seen in a long time. He's a natural heel and even whenbeing cheered can turn the audience on him in a flash. Proved he can carry a company when he held the ROH belt and I think he could be TNA's version of Chris Jericho in terms of the guy who you want to boo out of the building but hope he still wins the big one and the guy you can always count on for a great match.

Samoa Joe
I still laugh when people call him "Fat JOe". Yeah he's bigger than most of the roster but the can still move and go with the best of them. I'd like to see some of the fatties on here dive over the ropes without touching them, run around for 20 minutes, kick people int he face, get thrown around without asking for a diet coke break. The guy is still on of the best in ring performers.

Daniels
While I honetly dont see him holding the belt (and if he does it wont be for long) the guy is still a work horse for TNA and will continue to be as long as he is there. He is always capable of putting on a great match and is gold on the mic. I love watching this guy and I hope they prove me wrong and give him a good run with the top title but I just can't see it.

Jeff Hardy
Can anyone really tell me they are going to NOT have Jeff Hardy going after (and even possibly winning) the TNA Title. The most over guy in the last 5 years in wrestling with a cult following the size of "The Lost Boys" and "The Crow". The guy has that "it" factor. His personal life may cause him to take a back seat for a while but no one can deny that he brings a spark to the ring when he is in it.
