Your Plans For Skip

Hero_Kid

Dark Match Winner
Now alot of people always wondered when skip sheffied was ok to return to the ring its been since August 2010 hes been absent now its Almost 2012 and he wrestled his first match since being back at a wwe house show. I am personally happy hes back because of the potential the guy has. Now my questions are

How would you push him and if you would, would you take the "Monster route"

If you wouldnt push him explain why

Would you give skip any gold say in months of him returning

Do you think he will make a name for himself or be just another failed attempt

I personally would take the monster heel route just because of his size a guy like that doesnt look so great being a face only showing power in matches against heels (sorry mason ryan). I also would have him go the I.C Title path. Dolph has a nice line of people thats gunning for the U.S. Title Cody has nobody really and doesnt defend much (IMO) and theres not much competition on SD

Id send him to Smackdown as a heel. I think a program between him and Big Zeke could be fun as both men are freaking monsters. After a month or two with Zeke, I wouldnt mind seeing a Skip vs Kane program. Slowly build him as a heel on Smackdown and 2-3 months after WM if Daniel Bryan is still champ have Bryan and Skip feud for the title if the crowd is pleased with Skip if not just keep him in the mid card.

For starters, hes not called "Skip" Hes called "Ryback" hes meant to be based on a terminator like character.

So i see Ryback debuting in the Royal Rumble and taking out some of the "big names" Starting his development of a monster, with the commentators really putting him over.

I wouldn't give him any gold for a few months, i would have him continuously interupting matches and just owning the competitors. I believe by doing this, when he does eventually have a match there will be interest as to if he can ACTUALLY go in the ring, which depending on how he does, will decide if he makes a name for himself, or id destined for the "Future Endeavored" list.

I really hope they do not go the monster heel route with this guy. Although he is perfectly suited for the role, Mark Henry is using that character awfully well at the moment. Brodus Clay is also going in the same direction, so it is getting kind of repetitive.

I say turn Mason Ryan heel and put him in a team with Skip, or Ryback (Really Vince, that's the name you wanna give this guy?), and let them feud with Kingston and Bourne for a while. I remember back in the the late 80s and early 90s there were a plethora of big man teams like Demolition, Road Warriors, The Powers of Pain, and Haku and Andre. Once they take the belts, then give them a feud with Show/Kane to further establish their dominance.

Finally, when you decide to split them up, you have a believable feud between two muscle-bound freaks. It's not going to be pretty, but it might be fun to watch Batistwo and Super Steve Wilkos beat the crap out of each other.

I'd say debut Ryback in the Royal Rumble, and have Michael Cole go nuts with "this monster! Look at the siiiize of this man!" Let him eliminate a few of the jobbers, and then have two guys take him out. Really put him over. I think if he's as good as many say he is, then give him the same push that Sheamus first had as a debuting heel (but with the US/IC title instead).

Whatever happens, he needs to make an impact fast or he risks getting lost in the shuffle during the build up to WM28.

My opinion on Skip/Ryback is that the "Its Begins" video could be about him returning with the Ryback gimmick. Seeing as its considered a Terminator like gimmick, it makes sense with the videos. The videos state that a familiar face (he has been on tv before) will come on the 2nd day and the world will end. (Sounds a lot like Terminator). Just a theory. I hope it isnt Skip, because the videos seem to make it look like a huge superstar like Jericho or Taker, but it would make sense if it was Ryback

Ryback could be behind the ItBegins/Second video. That would fit for him i guess.

My plans for him would to use Ryback to get to the top of the Mid-card, and take that main mid-card heel role. We know that Cody and Dolph wont be there forever, and Skip would be a good replacment with a gimmick.

I was a big fan of his short run before injury. Apart from Wade and Gabriel he was the stand out guy in Nexus. His clothesline finisher was brutal. I was gutted that he got injured.

I reckon that he'll debut on Smackdown and instantly go after a top guy, Orton or Sheamus. As for gold, maybe down the line he'll win the IC title from someone, not Cody.

On issue I have is that he'll probably debut too soon after Brodus which will make his debut less of an impact, you can't really have 2 monsters debut so soon after each other.

They should allow Kane to return at the Royal Rumble first and have him look really credible for weeks. Then, Armageddon (Skip's new name) debuts and attacks Kane, throwing him against the announce table and just beating the living hell out of him. Armageddon would have scars all over him and a really big one across his face. He'd be similar to Kratos from God of War, even with the white skin. He'd be extremely violent and no one would know his goals or desires and it would seem as if he can't feel pain.

Armageddon finally tells everyone that he will announce exactly what he wants, but only after he destroys Kane at WrestleMania, while Kane says he will beat him and get rid of him before any of that happens. Armageddon beats Kane at WrestleMania and the night after, he announces that all he wants is to destroy The Undertaker, but before that, he had to test himself against Undertaker's brother first. Kane will come out and tell Armageddon that he should have made himself clear earlier because Kane supports him in full! Kane actually teams up with him to take on The Undertaker.

Of course, after WrestleMania, The Undertaker would be gone for months. Armageddon and Kane will start taking on numerous guys, probably even winning the tag titles and eventually, they will call out The Undertaker for SummerSlam. Armageddon wants him one-on-one. The Undertaker returns just to say NO... for now. The Undertaker says Armageddon has to prove himself before he has the honor to face him. Armageddon then decides to prove himself by beating the living hell out of his tag team partner.

Eventually, Armageddon goes psycho thinking that the only way to prove himself is to win the World title. He goes after the current champion (Cena, Punk, or Orton, etc.), but eventually loses by a roll-up or some sort of other fluke loss. Armageddon grows increasingly angry and starts taking out mid-carders until Kane returns for another match for Survivor Series. Armageddon beats him again, and that's when The Undertaker appears and chokeslams him right after and then saying Armageddon is not WORTHY.

Armageddon then decides that the only way to prove himself is by winning the Royal Rumble. He comes down to the Final 4 when The Undertaker's gong sounds and someone else capitalizes and pushes him out. Armageddon then blames The Undertaker for all the weeks after and says he will raze hell in the WWE until Undertaker accepts his challenge. Eventually, Undertaker accepts and the match is on for WrestleMania 29.

Then at WrestleMania 29, Armageddon goes one-on-one with The Undertaker and beats him to end the streak and cement himself as the new Dark Lord of the WWE.

And with Undertaker retired, we then have a new soldier of Darkness to enjoy watching in the WWE. I think this is a much better idea than coming back as the Terminator.

I'm sorry, but no. If anyone deserves to destroy taker's streak than it must be someone who is already well enough established, because if for the weird reason that this event were to happen, i couldn't take a guy named "Armageddon" Seriously as the person who goes down in the record books as defeating his streak. Good BTB stuff though i'll give you that.

If The Undertaker debuted today, we'd call the gimmick lame and ridiculous. After all, how can we take a guy named The Undertaker seriously?

But The Undertaker has surpassed his ridiculousness and become a credible competitor. I doubt any other person with a similarly ridiculous gimmick will be able to do that again without relating himself to The Undertaker.

And WWE should definitely capitalize on that before Taker retires! Maybe Armageddon doesn't have to end the streak, but he can lose a grueling match and end The Undertaker's career at the following SummerSlam.

(P.S. I messed with names like Apocalypse and Arcano, but figured that Armageddon was best.)

I'd call him Skip-Back, a combo of his two names, and have him debut at the Royal Rumble, eliminating Mason Ryan. He would be a monster, but a good monster who wants to big king of the monsters in the WWE. I'd have him feud with Brodus Clay, Zik, Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry, finally Mason Ryan which he loses to. He then turns heel and has a feud with Ryan. eventually they end up becoming a tag team and dominating the division winning the WWETTC. Maybe the name wouldn't work, maybe RY-Field? (lol) I have no idea what to call him.

My plans for Ryback *Skip* would be to make him a neutral heel. Sort of like Kharma and Lesnar, who just destroys. So WWE should let him take out all the top mid carder stars. Take our Swagger, Ziggler, Ryder, Evan, Kofi, and maybe even Sheamus. He'll be really dominate and eventually starts attacking Brodus Clay, Mason Ryans and Ezekiel Jackson. They'll have a four way feud fighting back and forth maybe even for the US title, he then notices that they're just as dangerous as he is. So they form a faction maybe call them "Four Way" or whatever. Have them do what Nexus couldn't do, maybe even give him a retired legend as a manager, I say have Regal because regal has been known to be a great heel manager and knows everything there is to be a great wrestler, plus his mic skills are great. He, unlike Wade Barret, doesn't need the spotlight or need to steal spot lights, all he will be doing to building the characters up. This team will be dominate and become all champions, Ezekiel and Brodus as tag champs and Ryback as Intercontinental or US champ and Ryan as US/IC champ. They can also be posed as a threat to HHH or Vince (WWE management) from Regal's story and the Four way will be a threat to the locker room.

He's not big enough to be a monster heel. I doubt he'll ever even see mid card status. He'll be a curtain jerker for a bit and then fade away. Just my personal opinion.

I don't care what they do, as long as they don't completely ignore the past and do some actual storyline progression.

Personally I'd send him right after Wade Barrett and play off of The Nexus thing. "You used us blah blah blah, now youre fighting Randy Orton and where are we". Have either Justin Gabriel or Heath Slater gravitate towards him because of the past and they support what he's saying, but Skip doesn't want to form a stable. Eventually he falls victim to The Barrett Barrage when (insert old nexus member here) turns on Skip. Barrett doesn't lose momentum and moves on while Skip has a new feud.

I think the result should be that some old nexus guys have something to do. Skip can go over on them without them losing momentum and they can gain exposure. Introducing the whole thing through Barrett starts it off on a high platform and gives the proceeding feuds a little credibility since the old leader was involved at one point. You could always throw Barrett in the mix more but that just feels like a step backwards.

I would say mid card for the simple reason nobody has seen him actually WRESTLE many real matches yet. In NXT it was incredibly basic stuff (sloppy clothsline, maybe a sidewalk slam and (in my opinion) poor selling. In Nexus it was just sloppy all over..I mean how hard is it to throw people around? Skip did that and beat people up along with the group then did his clothsline.. Sorry but that isn't wrestling and if he is in a mid to upper card role he eventually will have to wrestle real matches..

I would push Skip as the Ryback character, having come back from the future. He'd act as an enforcer so that his strength could be put to use. None of the silly cowboy antics he did on NXT. Ryback would be similar to what we saw from Skip in Nexus, a heel enforcer only now he is a character who has come back in time from the future. I'd consider giving him a midcard title within a couple of months if the character gets over enough. It could become a failed attempt if the character is perceived as being too cheesy. I'd try it though, it's something new. If the fans don't like it then they could always (kayfabe) turn him back into the regular enforcer he played in Nexus. A chair shot or an RKO could snap him back into reality, it's not that complicated to make a small shift in character. If the Ryback thing works though then it would cause Skip to make a name for himself and get pushed up the card faster. What we need from bigger guys is something unique because the bigger guys all get similar characters with similar pushes, which gets very boring very quickly. I want to see something different and Ryback would be exactly that.

a terminator gimmick is stupid IMO because hes not that big to play it tho he is big and i never read that before stating he will portray that gimmick as of right now he has had one match not showing a real character just being a heel i doubt the terminator thing tho
