I am very surprised that nobody has mentioned my favourite Wrestler yet.
Kurt Angle. This guy was just brilliant all around. His olympic gold medal gave some form of legitimacy to him and when my step dad would say "these guys aren't really wrestlers" i'd always say "well that guy has an olympic gold medal for wrestling and on this 'fake' wrestling show they have the greatest real wrestler in the world".
His promos are brilliant early on in his WWF run he was absoloutely hilarious with his "even in a run down crappy town like this you could become a true success like me if you follow the 3 I's" promos and when he became a more intense Kurt Angle he could still pull off great promos.
As for his matches? Kurt Angle has amazing matches regularly and has had classic matches with some of the all time greats (minus Bret Hart sadly). Even thinking about some of the matches he had with Benoit, Guerrero, Michaels or The Undertaker gives me goosebumps.
Even now he's carrying TNA on his back and say all you want about the great (truly phenominal) talent in TNA, without Kurt Angle it'd be a shitload less interesting and everybody was either really upset or incredibly shocked that Kurt jumped ship to TNA
Kurt is the greatest of all time. Oh it's true......It's damn true (i cannot offer anything more than my most sincere apology for my closing statement)
