Pretty simple thread, I plan on making a similar topic in the Non-Spam sections but I don't feel like articulating my thoughts. (Right now at least) I will start off with who my favorite hero is, Daredevil.

I've only watched the movie, but once I get around to finding a torrent for it I can give the Flaming Carrot an honest go.

Those of us that enjoyed that movie seem to be a rare breed.

Flaming Carrot is a lot older though, like late 70's early 80's I think, much more violent, with a ridiculously surreal sense of humour. The Mystery Men series with him in it is the same, not all the heroes in the Mystery Men are shit heroes, some are just too violent for other groups, for example theres a main hero character called "The Strangler" who's power is ridiculously strong forearms and hands. Fucking funny though, I'd recommend to anyone, if you can find them for a decent price.

Last I saw Bob Burden might be reviving the characters, but I am way out of the comic book loop these days somewhat unfortunately.

Moral of the story, do not expect the comics to be much like the film, at all.
