Your All-Time Dream Card (Give Reasons Why)

Here would be my all time dream card (Everybody listed would be in their prime):

Opening Match: AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio.

I think this would be a tremendous match. Both have defined the high-flying style in their own way and not only would it be spot-fest galore, but it would also have great storytelling and an overall fun match.

2nd Match: 4 way elimination deathmatch. Abdullah the butcher vs Bruiser Brody vs Terry Funk vs Cactus Jack.

This one is simple it would be a dream match against the 4 greatest hardcore icons of all time. It would be bloody, brutal and barbaric.

3rd Match: HHH vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage

This would be a great contest between 2 men who both are great at playing the dastardly heel as well as the mind games. Also, with the rocky history between randy and vince would add another element to the match.

4: Tag Team Match: The Steiner Brothers vs. The British Bulldog's

Both were 2 of the greatest tag teams that ever stepped foot in a ring. They both had speed, power and were technically sound. Would be a top notch tag match.

5: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Perfect

This would be a match between 2 of the greatest technicians who ever graced a wrestling ring I can't say enough about the in ring skill of both competitors. Seriously, have these 2 had a bad match with anybody?

6: Survivor Series Match: The Fabulous Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, Roberts) and The Brain Busters vs. The Von Erichs (Dave, Kevin , Kerry) and the Road Warriors.

This would be a match against probably the best four teams/groups of the 80's. Freebirds and Von Erichs feud is legendary but the feud between the Road Warriors and Tully/ Arn was also very memorable.

7:Tag Team Ladder Match: The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Hardy Boyz.

This would be one of the if not the greatest ladder match of all time. Both teams are amazing at working as a unit and can all high fly and elevate their game in a match such as a ladder match.

8: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs The Rock

This would be an encounter between 2 of the most flashiest, cool, charismatic wrestlers in history. Both talk great, both can work a great match and well you get the picture.

9: Samoa Joe vs. Yokozuna.

I think this match would be epic. Both have a very smash mouth style of working with both agility and power. They have both proven to be great in a big match atmosphere and overall would be a solid encounter.

10: Street Fight. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

This would be an all out brawl against the 2 biggest "bad-asses" in wrestling history. Both can wrestle when needed, but these 2 would have one of the most entertaining street fights in history.

Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs. Bret Hart

This one is simple. It is a pretty well known fact was that this was supposed to be the main event of Summerslam 93 (where hogan was supposed to drop the belt to Bret). that never happened They had some BS blowoff match in late 98 that ended with hart joining up with hogan. I choose this as the main event because it is over 15 years in the making and the 1 match i never happened, the 1 match everybody wanted to see and the 1 match that was the longest overdue. Both were in my top 5 favorite, rank #1 and #4 in the PWI greatest wrestlers list, and were both staples of WWE.

There are a few I didn't get to put in but overall that would be my idea of my all-time dream card.

This would all be called by Jim Ross and Matt Striker (who is superb on ECW)

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke

tons of athleticism in this one, great way to start off the night.

X-Pac vs CM Punk

they both have martial arts backgrounds, look for some good kicks in this match.

The Hardys vs The New Age Outlaws

two of the most decorated teams of all time.

Kevin Thorn vs Gangrel- First Blood Match

who better to have a first blood match with than guys who want to drink it?

Bret Hart vs. Mr Kennedy

I just think this would be cool. The loudmouth against the great technical skills of the Hitman.

Chris Jericho vs. Edge

two awesome heels who will do anything to win. also, they both have rockstar-like characters.

Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley

these guys both possess great amateur wrestling skills and amazing strength. not to mention they both left the WWE too early.

Kevin Nash vs John Morrison

Big Sexy taking on the Shaman of Sexy. why not?

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Goldberg vs The Undertaker vs Kurt Angle

Instantly Classic

Randy Orton vs The Rock

The Legend Killer vs the Brahma Bull would make for some great buildup and a terrific showdown.

Sting vs Triple H

This would be huge. Two guys who have reached the pinnacle of wrestling and have managed to stay there.

1. Money in the Bank Ladder Match:
Rob Van Dam v. Jeff hardy v. AJ Styles v. Shelton Benjamin v. John Morrison v. Chris Jericho v. Jerry Lynn v. CM Punk

a lot of tallent in there, gonna create for some amazing high flying action with the use of ladders.. only one can wonder.

2. Rey Mysterio (99) v. Sunjay Dutt
the way these two move around the ring at there prime is amazing and would definitely be a cruiserweight match for the ages.

3. Samoa Joe v. Chris Benoit
technical bout with a lot of counters and a lot of hard hitting action.

4. 2/3 falls: Eddie Guerrero v. Owen Heart
enough said.

5. Dudleys v. Legion of Doom
find out who is the greatest tag team in history.

6. Goldberg (98) v. Kurt Angle (2003)
saw a glimpse of it at the Royal Rumble '04, if only they could have a match!

7. Undertaker v. Sting
forever will be known as the dream match that never happend.

8. Bret Heart (97) v. HHH (2004)
not sure if they have faced off before, but the build up to this match would be off the chain and the match itself, with both in there prime.. one could only wonder.

9. Stone Cold v. Brock Lesnar
2 bad asses, 1 ring.. lets get it on!

10. Randy Savage v. Randy Orton
two of my favourite wrestlers going at it.. another one of those matches i would love to see!

11. The Rock v. Shawn Michaels
my all time dream match.. sweet build up, awesome match, kick ass draw.
if the rock was to have one more match, this would be it!

but damn, there are so many more dream matches one could have..

1. hardcore homo angel vs val venis
(Would love to see how porn star val reacts to a harcore homo)

2. Bam Bam Bigelow versus Undertaker
They put on some decent matches. Also Bam Bam was a very underrated Superstar

3. CMPunk vs vs Stevie Richards

4. New Age Outlaws vs El Generico and Kevin Steen vs Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin
vs Cryme Tyme
Great Tag teams

5. HHH vs Rock
I miss that feud so much

6. Chris Jericho vs Owen Hart in an IQuit match
Do I need to comment on this one?

7. Road Warriors and Raven vs Young Bucks(PWG) and Saturn vs Tommy Dreamer and Miz and Morrison vs Kanyon/Lodi/Scott Vick
Raven versus people from all of his best feuds and a bunch of great tag teams facing off. A bunch of my favorite tag teams and my favorite wrestlers that Raven has feuded with, plus we got a flock reunion.

8. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels in an Iron Man match.
I would give anything to see these guys perform in their primes again

9. Goldust vs Joey Ryan vs Curt Henig (w/manager Rick Rude) vs Buff
A match of 4 of the most charismatic wrestlers of all time who never got the main event title. I would put a promotion main event title on the line just for them. Goldust or Henig get the win. I would have loved to see Henig react to Goldusts antics.

10. Christian vs Chuck Taylor
Chuck Taylor hates kids so he gets the upset and dissapoints the 10 ECW kids fans.

11. Steve Pain vs Austin Aries vs Rico Dynamite
Rico Dynamite gets the win by cheating

A lot of these matches were just a bunch of my favorite wrestlers who I want to see perform together. I made a list of my favorite wrestlers and inserted them into what appears to be random matches. This is a show that I can sit back, have a beer and relax

The wrestlers you dont know came from Pro Wretling Guerilla and Evolucha

1. 4 Horsemen vs Hart family (bret/owen/british bulldog/jim neidhart) - a battle of two of the most prestigious factions in history

2. HBK/HHH/Marty Jannetty vs NWO (hogan/nash/hall) - the nostalgia of hbk with his 2 greatest tag partners against the NWO throws in a bit of a kliq feud as well

3. Rey Mysterio vs Dynamite Kid

4. The rhodes family (dusty/dustin/cody) vs JBL/AMW vs Bart Gunn/Billy Gunn/Roaddogg in a 9 person barhouse brawl. the rhodes family all together plus billy gun with his two best tag partners

5. Cena vs Austin - the two superstars that defined their eras going head to head. CLASSIC

6. Raven/Abyss vs Terry Funk/Cactus Jack in a hardcore match

7. Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle - technical wrestling at it's finest

8. Undertaker vs Samoa Joe - the two biggest badasses going at it

9. Team Canada from TNA (eric young/robert roode/petey williams/A-1) vs Team Canada from WCW (lance storm/elix skipper/carl oulette/mike awesome) vs WWE Canadian (Edge/Christian/Benoit/The Mountie) - who had the better canadian wrestlers plus i like the rougeau brothers battle thrown in there as well

10. Beautiful People vs Trish Stratus/Lita

11. AJ styles/Christopher Daniels vs Hardy Boys in a ladder match

For my ultimate card, I'd have to have Attitude Era Jerry Lawler and JR doing commentary. I loved how they worked with each other, and they could sell even the most boring match. For announcing, I'm going with Howard Finkel. No one announces a PPV like him.

Opening Match:
Hardcore Rules

"The Whole F'n Show" Rob Van Dam v. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles

A.J. Styles is one of my favorite wrestlers currently, and I'd love to see him match up against RVD, as they wrestle similar styles, but come from two different eras. As much as I'd like to see the match without Hardcore Rules, I feel the best way to do it justice is to let them battle it out however they see fit. It would be an excellent opening match to get the crowd primed for the rest of the show. Our of respect for the old school, I'd have RVD win following a Van Terminator.

Match #2:

Legion Of Doom v. The Hardyz

My favorite tag teams ever, are The Rockers and The Hardyz, but I have much better things to do for Shawn Michaels, than stick him in a tag match this early in the show. So, my second favorite old school tag team can step in. I love watching contrasting styles in the ring, so the acrobatics of The Hardyz would be great to see against the sheer strength and power of L.O.D. Both teams have amazing chemistry, and the teamwork would add so many dynamics to the match. Ultimately though, the Doomsday Device goes over Poetry In Motion.

Match #3:

Bam Bam Bigelow v. Big Van Vader

I'm a fan of super-heavyweights, especially ones with some athleticism. While these guys could easily fit anywhere on the card, I'd put them here, so they still have crowd's attention following the opening two match-ups. Being able to see the diving headbutt, and the Vader Bomb in the same match would really be cause to mark out. I'm going with Vader for the win, but only after a good hard-fought battle.

Match #4:
Submission Match

Chris Benoit v. Dean Malenko v. Chris Jericho v. Tazz

One of my favorite matches of all-time was Chris Jericho v. Dean Malenko. I also love submission matches, so I added in 4 of the best technical wrestlers of the modern era. The original Walls Of Jericho is a devastating move, and Jericho knows a slew of others that could take down anyone. Tazz's Tazzmission looked nasty, and his in-ring repertoire would work for a great match against any of these wrestlers. The match, to me, would come down to Benoit's Crippler Crossface, and Malenko's Texas Cloverleaf. Because of Malenko's stature, he gets extra torque on his opponent's back and legs, and he has an entire moveset that works to weaken any part of your body. Benoit's Crossface was feared more than any other submission move during his time on top of the WWE, so I'd give him the win, but it would be good long match, with tons of technical, and mat based, wrestling.

Match #5:

"The Blueblood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley v. Lord Steven Regal

Yes, I know I could've easily put Triple H in the main event, but some of my favorite matches from him, came with him as the blueblood at the beginning of his career in the WWF/E. He worked the character perfectly, and really started to show signs of being the Cerebral Assassin that he is today. Lord Steven Regal was a master in the ring, and is never given enough credit for his abilities. I'd probably move this match further up on the card, but as a heel v. heel match, it wouldn't be as inspiring for the fans, so it stays in the middle. Even as a heel v. heel match though, the fans would get into it because it would be a wrestling clinic. There's be some brawling, some power, and some of the best technical wrestling they've seen.

Match #6:

Trish Stratus v. Alundra Blayze v. Lita v. Wendy Richter

Seems about time for a women's match. Wendy Richter was huge for the women's division when she burst onto the scene, and is the first women wrestler I can remember watching. Alundra Blayze was one of my favorites growing up, and Trish and Lita carried the women's division for what seemed like forever. Ultimately, the match would come down to who's my favorite, and Lita would win following an epic swanton on to Alundra Blayze.

Match #7:

The Brothers Of Destruction & Demolition v. Bret Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Owen Hart, and "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith

This would be a great match to get the crowd going after the women's match, and would set up the main event portion of the show perfectly. Kane and Undertaker are two of my all-time favorites, and Demolition was always a team that I rooted for as a kid. The Hart Foundation is one of my all time favorite factions, and has a good mix of power and speed, that would work well against their opponents. On any given night, either team could win this. In the end, I think the power of The Brothers Of Destruction and Demoltion is just too much for the Harts to overcome.

Match #8:

Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior v. The Four Horsemen

The ultimate heel faction, against some of the most over faces in the history of the business. Ric Flair alone against any one of the faces would be a mega-draw, but adding in the Andersons and Tully Blanchard would make this too much for one show to handle. While every man would get their time to shine, and a chance to showcase their finishers, the teamwork and cohesiveness of The Four Horsemen would just be too much to overcome.

Match #9:

Sting v. The Rock

I know I'm not the only person to have this as one of my all-time dream matches, and anyone who says it isn't, is lying to themselves. For a number of reasons, we have been robbed of this ever happening. Both guys have a mix of agility, speed, and strength. What would really get the crowd going though, would be the moves that we all know and love. Sting has the Scorpion Deathlock and the Stinger Splash, while The Rock has the People's Elbow and Rock Bottom. I get goosebumps just imagining the promos leading up to the match, and the match would not be a let down. In the end, I'd give the win to Sting, mostly because so many people would actually be surprised by it.

Match #10:
War Games

Hulk Hogan, Mankind, Rey Misterio Jr., Terry Funk, Jerry Lynn v. Andre "The Giant", Edge, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels

This is basically who's left of my favorite faces and heels. I picked War Games, because it has always been one of my favorite match types, and since this is my dream show, then the headliner should be my favorite match. I'd start the match with Misterio squaring off against DiBiase, just to see how the different eras, and styles, would work together. Then, I'd bring in Edge on the heel squad, and let Rey work the angle as the underdog. He's done it for forever, and it would work. Then, I'd bring in Terry Funk, the hardcore legend, to clear the heels off of Rey, and bringing him in early, allows for him to really get bloody and messy. The next entrant for the heels would be Rude, and shortly after his entrance, the heels would really have the faces down and beaten. They'd have all the time to really work on the old man and the small cruiserweight, until...MANKIND enters! After he enters, there'd be mayhem everywhere. people getting beaten and bitten, punched and kicked, and blood flowing from almost everyone involved so far. While everyone is laid out in the ring, the bell rings for the next entrant, and in comes Andre. He goes after Funk first, with him being the most beaten down face, and just goes about snapping him in two. He goes after Rey and tosses him from pillar to post with reckless abandon. Before he can get to Mankind, the buzzer sounds and in comes Jerry Lynn. The true ultimate underdog goes to work on the big man as the rest of the heels come to life. Lynn uses the cage as a weapon, and is flying everywhere as the war rages on around him. Then, HBK enters, and being the smart heel that he is, he goes straight after Funk as well, but the bloodied and tortured old man won't go down. The heels prove to be too much as they start to slowly overcome the faces and take total control, but...The last entrant for the faces is Hulk Hogan! Big boots for everyone as he comes in fresh, and leg drops are flying from all of the faces onto the beaten heels. The faces get nonchalant, and allow the heels to fight their way back in to the match. After a failed 619 by Rey, Andre tosses him back in the ring, and the match is over as DiBiase locks in a Million Dollar Dream on to the man who spent the most time in the match.

My dream card is very different then everybody else. I was never a fan of alot of the "huge" stars growing up watching wrestling and it's still like that. Guys like HHH, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Bret Hart just never were my taste. My favorite guys have usually been either cruiserweights, spot artists, or divas so my card will primarly focus on them.

Match One: HBK Vs. Bret Hart(Just a normal match between arguably two of the best workers ever. The history between these guys alone would elevate the match. I think they both would pull out all the stops to outshine the other resulting in a great match.

Match Two: Lita Vs. Trish Stratus Vs. Melina(Lita & Trish have had a colorful past and both were at one point the top diva's of the WWE. Both are good at what they do and bring the energy. I add Melina because she is my favorite current diva and I think her personality(as a heel)would work well with Trish & Lita, and make the match more interesting than just another Lita/Trish match. Melina would have to work her ass off to keep up with these girls(both at their prime)but I know Melina could do it).

Match 3: The Hardyz Vs. Edge & Christian Vs. The Duddleys Vs. Miz/Morrison Vs. Kendrick/London in a TLC Match. (The TLC matches would have to be one of my favorite matches ever(#1 would be Jeff vs. Taker at Raw)and you know everyone involved with take the risks to put on one crazy show. I added Miz/Morrison because I think their style and charisma would make them shine in the match and Kendrick/London would be willing to take risks to put on a show.

Match 4: RVD vs. Sabu Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Mysterio(These 4 are crazy sons of bitches and with them all at their prime this would sure to be a very fast paced, spot filled, match with amazing stunts. I think it would also be a decent wrestling match(maybe not Sabu)but this would be a awesome match to me.

Match 5: Hulk Hogan Vs. Ric Flair(while I might not be a huge fan of either I think this would be an epic match. Both are credited as two of the greatest legends and the match would just be epic. Wrestling wise it might be a bit sloppy but you know the fans would be into the match and a great story would be told.

Match 6: The Rock Vs. John Cena(like others I think these two are two of the best promo guys ever. While both lack a certain flair(no pun intended) in the ring, both are solid workers. The energy this two would bring to the match would be insane and it would be something I would want to see).

Match 7: Kurt Angle Vs. Brock Lesnar(While this match has been done before, I don't care. Thoes two brought their A game the last time they met and if anything you know you would get to see a great technical match. But also with Angle and Lesnar their would be personality and not just great moves(like Malenko or Benoit).

Match 8: Sting Vs. Ultimate Warrior(While Warrior was never great in the ring his larger than life character made him a fan favorite. Sting on the other hand had a great character and also was a good wrestler. I really liked both guys and while the match wouldn't be anything overly good technical wise I think it still could be enjoyable and greatly entertaining.

Then I would just have a random battle royal with other of my personal favorites(past and present)Lex Luger, Alex Shelly, Randy Orton, Chris Sabin, Randy Savage, Stone Cold, Vader, Billy Kidman, Razor Roman, X-Pac, and Tajiri.

Match 2.

(Ax & Smash)

Winners and new World Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors

Reason: Two of the toughest tag teams of the 1980's... This match would settle any questions of who's the toughest.

Match 5.
Chyna vs. Beth Phoenix
(Consider this a bathroom break for most lol)

Winner: Beth Phoenix

Reason: These two are the toughest Divas of this decade... so it's only fitting.

Match 6.
Intercontinental Championship:
(c). Shawn Michaels vs. Ricky Steamboat
(From late 1992-1995) (From the late 1980's)

Winner: Shawn Michaels still... Intercontinental Champion

Reason: Shawn was on of the top heels in that time frame and Steamboat was and is the best face. Both of there styles just mesh well together.

Match 7.
60 Minute Ultimate Submission Match:
Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Kurt Angle
(1993 to 1999) (2001 to Present)

Winner: Bret "The Hitman" Hart... Score 1 to 0
(After coming down to the final 10 seconds...)

Reason: This is just a "pure" wrestling fan's dream. I mean two of the greatest wrestler's of the last 20 years going one on one... I say no more.

Match 8.
Undertaker vs. Andre the Giant
(Present) (1980 to 1988)

Winner: Undertaker

Reason: WWE's greatest big men of all time... what more do you need?

Match 9.
World Heavyweight Championship:
(c)"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Triple H
(1983 to 1990) (Present)

Winner: Ric Flair and still World Heavyweight Champion

Reason: Triple H,the modern day Ric Flair... At 13 World Titles. He is the most dominate champion in the WWE. (Yes... he is married to Vince's daughter... blah blah blah; You can't take anything way from his in ring skills.)
Ric Flair, simply put...the greatest of all time.

Match 10.
Hulk Hogan vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
(1984 to 1990) (1998 to 2001)

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

Reason: The biggest names in WWE history... that's all I have to say.

All of the following matches are of the wrestlers listed in their primes.

WWE Championship match
#1 Hulk Hogan (84-91) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin (98-01).
The reason for this match is quite simple...they are the two biggest names in the history of professional wrestling, and have never met one on one!
It would be the biggest match of all time...bar none!
Hulk Hogan cleanly pins Austin - Austin hits a stunner and Hogan gets a shoulder up. Another stunner and Hogan Hulks up - 3 punches, Big Boot, 3 Legdrops..1 2 3!
Hogan deserves to win the match as he is a biggest, most popular, most iconic wrestler of all time.

Two huge names from different eras that never met in the ring, and i think they would have an awesome match. The people would love to see it!

Two powerhouses that rarely lost a match. Would be intense and action packed!

Two legends with very intense styles that are totally different. I think it would make for a great match. Both men can take bumps very very well, both men are good offensive wrestlers.
Winner - Macho Man Randy Savage

Two absolutely phenomenal performers that would have a match that was out of this world! Both can wrestle, both are high flyers, both have huge longevity.

Match #3-Tag Team Ladder Match
WWE Tag Team Championship

Edge & Christian(c) vs Hardy Boyz

Results:Now I know I just had a match for the WWF Tag Team titles but that was for the older teams(except the dudleyz)This is for the two teams that exceled at the ladder match. It would be a epic contest with great spots all over.Lots of energy and would really help pick the show back up for anyone who isn't a fan of power wrestling and fell asleep during the last match.Winners and still champions Edge & Christian.

Match #4- 30 Minute Ironman Match
Curt Henning vs Shawn Micheals

Results: Two of my all time favorites.I always felt 60 Minutes was a bit much so I cut it to thirty.Plenty of time for these two greats to put on a show.Micheals was always good at pacing a match. But it felt to me like Perfect never won the big one.Plus Micheals never had a problem putting someone over so. Winner 2-1.Curt Henning.

Match #5-Extreme Rules
ECW Championship
Raven(c) vs Tommy Dreamer

Results:I feel that there are so many men who gave their heart and soul to ECW. But to have more then just two men in this match would take the fans attention away from the rivalry that is and was Dreamer/Raven.I couldn't have picked two individuals with more passion for ECW than these two men.Winner by pinfall and new champion Tommy Dreamer.

Match #6-Single Match
Hulk Hogan vs John Cena

Results: Not really for the match itself but for the moment. I don't want Hogan in his prime because Hogan in his prime wouldn't do anything to make the match more special. Now Hogan coming back the way he did at Wrestlemania 18. That Hogan vs Cena would be epic.Winner by pinfall Hulk Hogan.

Match #7-Single Match
WCW Championship

Ric Flair(c) vs Sting

Results: Student versus master. Sting has said countless times that Flair was his mentor and his friend. These men have had classics over the years.Unfortunately for me I missed most of them because I wasn't around to see them.Sting has beaten Flair quite a few times and because Sting owes him so much.Winner by pinfall and still champion Ric Flair.

Match #8-Single Match
WWF Championship

The Rock(c) vs "Stonecold" Steve Austin

Results: The first match I ever saw was at Wrestlemania 19. The Rock vs Austin. Austin's last match. The Rock finally got the win over Austin on his third attempt that day. Poetic that it took three rock bottoms as well. In this match I'd put the man over who had to retire from this buisiness because of bad knees not because of movies. I'd put over the man who revolutionized the Attitude Era. I'd put over the man who lost his last match for the Rock. Now I make the Rock give back to the WWE. Winner by pinfall and new champion Stonecold Steve Austin.

Thats my dream card and its pretty wicked if you ask me.

Winner: Ricky Steamboat

Match 4: Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan

PPV: WWF WrestleMania 25
Location: Atlanta Georgia Dome
Commentators: Jim Ross & Jerry 'The King' Lawler
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkell

Match 1
WWF Cruiserweight Championship

Rey Mysterio (1997) vs. Billy Kidman (1997)

I remember watching WCW when these two were feuding for the Cruiserweight Title. I was always a fan of the WWF Light Heavyweight division with Taka Michinoku defending the belt for so long. A fast paced opener to the show with Kidman winning after hitting the Shooting Star Press.

Match 2
WWF Hardcore Championship

Mankind (1998) vs. Al Snow (1998)

These two were crazy!!!! Mankind, just look at his countless Hell In A Cell, Street Fights, Boiler Room Brawls etc. Al Snow made the Hardcore division entertaining in 1999 with Head and Pepper. Plus these two had great chemistry. Al Snow scored the upset after a Superplex from the top rope to the outside through a table.

Match 3
WWF Women’s Championship

Beth Phoenix (2008) vs. Chyna (2000)

Simple, the two strongest and most dominant divas ever going at it for the Women’s title. Beth Phoenix to score the win, followed by Santino celebrating in the ring after providing guest commentary.

Match 4
Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Y2J Chris Jericho (1999) vs. HBK Shawn Michaels (1997) vs. Jeff Hardy (2008) vs. Matt Hardy (2002) vs. Edge (2009) vs. Christian (2005)

Six of the best workers in the ladder match ever going at it tooth and nail. Many high spots from all six men, HBK grabbing the briefcase to earn himself a WWF Title match.

Match 5
Extreme Rules
WWF Tag Team Championship

The Dudley Boyz (2001) vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (2009)

The Dudley Boyz are surely one of the most decorated tag teams of all time. This match basically sees Legacy being destroyed for the majority of the match, but yet they manage to pull out the victory and become the Tag Team Champions.

Match 6
3 Out Of 5 Falls

Kurt Angle (2001) vs. Bret Hart (1996)

I know many people have wanted to see this match. An Iron Man Match was too long, yet 2 Out Of 3 Falls is not long enough. Kurt Angle goes two falls up, Bret Hart battles back to square it up, then locks in the Sharpshooter, only for Kurt to reverse it into the Ankle Lock and score the victory.

Match 7
WWF Intercontinental Title

John Cena (2003) vs. Randy Orton (2009)

I know these two are now main-eventers, but this is a world where there is only one World title, therefore the Intercontinental actually means something. Randy Orton’s character now is perhaps the best heel character ever, so to match that up against John Cena when he was ultra popular as the free-style rapper. This is a feud before either man became a main-eventer, a feud as good as The Rock/Triple H for the Intercontinental title back in 1998. Orton picks up the win after kicking out of the FU, then punts Cena in the head for good measure.

Match 8
Brock Lesnar (2003) vs. Goldberg (1998)

WrestleMania 20 should have been a dream match. But thanks to the Internet leaking that both guys were leaving, the crowd ate them both alive. This time the crowd are into the match, lots of near falls, Lesnar picking up the victory after two F5’s.

Match 9
Triple H (2000) vs. Ric Flair (1987)

We all know the history between the two of them. In Evolution they helped Randy Orton and Batista become main event stars. They have put on some good matches in the past, so to see the two of them in their absolute prime would be a treat. Triple H picks up the win, but only after the referee is knocked out.

Match 10
Kane (1998) vs. The Undertaker (1998)

I always enjoyed these matches. Back in the day, I actually believed Kane’s face was burned and that they were brothers. The Undertaker was pure evil, one of the greatest characters ever. Similar to their WrestleMania 14 match, both men kicking out of each other’s Chokeslam’s and Tombstone’s, but this time Kane picks up the win after reversing The Undertaker’s Tombstone attempt into one of his own.

Match 11
WWF Championship

Stone Cold Steve Austin (1999) vs. The Rock (1999)

Where to start? The two most popular WWF superstars ever. Yeah Hogan was also popular, but he is a crap wrestler. These two could wrestle and the headlined WrestleMania twice, as well as having a final match at WrestleMania 19. Even though WrestleMania 17 was amazing, both wrestlers were just past their prime and as it was in Texas, Austin received more cheers. This time the match is in a neutral venue, with 80,000 fans equally split. The Rock kicks out of the Stunner, Austin kicks out of the People’s Elbow. The Rock finally picks up the clean victory with the Rock Bottom to end the greatest night in wrestling history.

I would keep it simple for the title

Night of Legends
The venue: Where else but Madison Square Garden
The Announce Team: I would have 9 matches 3 announce teams. two teams would do 4 matches one team would do 1 . I will identify the announce team for each match.
Howard Finkel on in ring announcements.

Match one would get the show started with a rematch of one of the greatest matches of all time. The announce team would be Vince McMahon and Jessie "The Body" Ventura.
Ladies and gentlemen opening the card....
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
These two relive the glory of their first match it seems Steamboat still remembers that brutal attack from Savage as he goes on the offensive quickly chopping the "Macho Man's" chest till it's bright red. Each chop get a "whoo" from the crowd which actually seems to annoy "The Dragon". Savage fights back and the match is back and forth. Steamboat gets the upper hand until he charges and Savage ducks grabbing the top rop sending Steamboat over and to the floor. Savage follows out and throws Steamboat against the guardrail. Savage looks rabid as streamboat turns seemingly injured his neck is on the guardrail! Savage smiles evily and goes to the top. He plays to the crowd and then jump but STEAMBOAT moves! Savage hits the guardrail and Steamboat rolls him back in. Steamboat climbs the top rope and waits. Savage slowly gets up turns and Steamboat hits the flying body press. 1...2... SAVAGE KICKS OUT! Steamboat can't believe it. He picks up Savage and Savage counters with a jaw breaker. Savage maintains control for the next few minutes hitting the body slam and climbing to the top. He goes for the flying elbow and hits. 1...2... STEAMBOAT KICKS OUT! Savage argues with the ref. He grabs Steamboat and an irish whip into the corner. Savage charges and Steamboat moves Savage hits the corner Steamboat with the victory roll 1...2...3! Steamboat WINS!!!! The crowd goes nuts. Steamboat leaves the ring and Savage is still groggy. The crowd's roars turn to boos as Jake "The Snake" Roberts a one time enemy of both men comes from the crowd bag in hand. Roberts stands over Savage slapping him and then prepares to unleash Damien. Steamboat turns and runs to the ring and takes out "The Snake." Steamboat helps Savage up and "The Macho Man," raises his hand in victory the crowd goes crazy. "What a way to start NIGHT OF LEGENDS!" Vince yells.

Match 2- Hardcorde Frenzy to determine the true king of Hardcore. Elimination Hardcore Match Fall Count Anywhere. The announce team- Joey Styles and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas
The participants: Cactus Jack, The Sandman, Steve Blackman, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Terry Funk.
The match is an word brutal. Despite being one of the longest reigning WWE Hardcore champs Steve Blackman is outclassed and falls at the five minute mark after Sandman really shows him how to use a Kendo stick. Raven falls next after falling to a brutal double team involving a trash can, a table, and barbwire courtesy of Funk and Dreamer. It's almost ten minutes before the next elimation but two are close together as Sabu plants a viscious chair shot to the head of Tommy Dreamer pinning the "Innovator of Violence" and Funk catches Sandman with a low blow then a DDT on the trash can. The crowd goes nuts screaming ECW!!! as Funk, Foley, and Sabu stare each other down. Foley has his trademark barb wire wrappped 2x4 Sabu has a chair and Funk a trash can. Sabu attacks Foley with chair Foley ducks and hits Sabu in the back with the 2x4 blood gushes from Sabu's back Foley has no time to celebrate as the back of his head gets nailed by the trash can. Foley crawls from the ring and looks hurt. Sabu is in pain but he attack Funk and both spill from the ring the two battle and Sabu gets Funk on the announce table. The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, maniac climbs to the top rope and leaps splashing down on Funk. "OH MY GOD!" Styles screams as Funk is eliminated. Sabu goes back to the ring and looks for Foley but he is no where to be found. The Hardcore Legend emerges from under ring and comes back in the other side a sadistic smile on his face as he has a cloth bag in hand. The bag is emptied as the crowd goes nuts tacks cover the mat. Sabu smiles him self and leaps at Foley the two collide and go at it falling into the corner Foley is getting pummeled by Sabu. Sabu gets behind Foley and climbs the corner it looks like he attempting to bulldog Foley into the tacks. The Hardcore legend fights back and throws Sabu from the top and he lands on his back right on the tacks. Foley moves and pulls out SOCKO!! Sabu stands up and walks right into the mandilbe claw. Sabu hits a low blow and frees himself he charges and leaps grabbing Foley's head and slamming it to the mat right into the tacks. Sabu rolls him over 1..2..3. Sabu defeats the Hardcorde Legend!!!! Sabu is the king of hardcore. The chant of ECW!!! echoes throughout the garden.

Match 3- The Dudley Boys versus The Outsiders
The announcers: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
The two top tag teams from now defunct organizations. (no that current crap is not ECW but I digress). The Outsiders use a game plan of overpowering the Dudleys to get an early advantage and dominate the first half of the match working on D-Von mostly keeping him isolated from Buh Buh Ray. Scott Hall makes a critical mistake missing The Razor's Edge as D-Von slips out and then hits the Tag. Buh Buh Ray cleans house and the Dudleys hit the Wassup? on Hall. The ref goes down as Nash hits the ring and clotheslines the ref after D-Von dodges. Nash goes back out from a double clothesline and Hall gets nailed with the 3-D! But there is no ref! Syxx hits the ring and hits Buh Buh Ray with a spin kick but the Dudleys didn't come alone either Spike takes out Syxx with a series of kicks and punches and then hits the Dudley Dog. The crowd goes crazy but it's short lived as Nash comes back in taking out Spike with the big boot and throws D-Von from the ring. The Powerbomb is next on Buh Buh Ray and he lays Hall over the fallen Dudley. The ref comes too to hit the 1..2..3. The Outsiders win and the Wolfpac reunite in the ring to celebrate.

Match 4-Battle of the Kings
Jerry "The King" Lawler vs "The King of Wrestling" Harley Race. A battle of two legends who wore a crown calling themselves "The King"
Vince Mcmahon and Jessie "The Body" Ventura"
The two legends shake hands as the match begins and fans of Old School are thrilled at this display. It's back and forth both men hit piledrivers for near falls. The match is almost half an hour of old school delight but tempers flare and Lawler resorts to his brawling style punching and kicking Race. Lawler hits the fist from the second rope at the 28:30 mark for the pinfall victory. The crowd gives the legends a standing ovation and Race goes out and gets a crown that was set up at ringside and presents it to Lawler and shakes his hand and leaves. Lawler put the crown on his head and heads back to his spot next to Jim Ross to the crowd's delight.

Match 5
Rey Mysterio Jr. versus "Thunder" Liger
A battle of one the greatest high flying Luchadors and one of the legendary Japanese high flyers.
Commentators: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.
High spots galore with Mysterio and Liger putting on a clinic. Reversals, counters, and high flying moves highlight this match. The high spots include a moonsault from Liger onto Mysterio on the floor, also a top rope hunnacanrana from Mysterio. The match finally ends with the 619 and West Coast Pop from Mysterio.

Match 6: Bret "The Hitman" Hart versus Kurt Angle.
Announcers: Vince McMahon and Jessie Ventura
Two of the best technical wrestlers in the past 20 years face off. The match does has great technical wrestling but Angle's temper turns the match into a brawl both men go to the floor and brawl barely beating the ten count. Angle gets the upper hand and hits the Angle slam but only for a two count. He misses an elbow drop and Hart takes advantage wearing down Angle with a technical display suplexes, leg drops, and attempts to wear down Angles legs with leg locks and submission holds. Angle counters one kicking Hart out of the ring again. Angle rolls out and charges but Hart moves and Angle hits the steel post. Hart locks on the figure four around the ring post and Angle screams in pain. Hart breaks the hold and Angle is hurt. Both men get back in the ring and Hart locks on the sharpshooter. Angle fights the submission hold and finally reaches the ropes. Hart controls the tempo until Angle reverses another sharpshooter attempt and locks in the ankle lock. Hart screams in pain but refuses to tap out. Ventura screams "What the hell are you doing McMahon? as Vince gets up and heads to the bell keeper. He starts to scream once again "RING THAT BELL!" but is intercepted by a figure leaping over the guard rail. "IT'S HBK! Michaels superkicks Vince as Hart breaks free of the ankle lock. HBK nods at Hart and leaps back into the crowd. Hart turns back around and runs into another Angle slam attempt but Hart counters and takes the offensive. A neck breaker drop then the sharpshooter again in the middle of the ring. Angle fights and fights but finally taps out. Hart raises his hand in victory then goes outside and stands smirking over a fallen Vince McMahon. He spits on Vince and then leaves to the roars of a very happy crowd. Needless to say Vince has called his last match for the evening.

Match 7
Six Man Tag Legends vs Legacy
The Horseman with JJ Dillon Versus Legacy. One of the best stables of all time versus a team that is lead by the man who lives to kill legends.
Announcers: The crows gets a treat as legendary commentator Gordon Solie joins Jessie Ventura replacing Vince.
Representing the Horsemen: Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Ole Anderson The Minnesota Wrecking Crew.
Legacy of course is Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase
.
Orton is arrogance personfied sneering at the legends as they come down to the ring. Orton and Flair start the match. "Whoos" resound with each chop. The Horsemen dominate the first part of the match teaching the neophytes why they are the Horsemen. The tide turns however as Orton gets an advantage over Ole. The next several minutes features Legacy tagging in and out keeping Ole seperated from his team. Ole finally gets a tag after reversing a suplex attempt by Cody Rhodes. The crowd roars after AA hits the ring. Rhodes is dominated by "The Enforcer" of the legendary stable. AA has him in a face lock and Rhodes tries to get to his corner. Flair storms the ring getting the ref's attention as Rhodes tags in Dibiase. Flair smirks as Dibiase is told to get back out as the ref didn't see it Orton is incensed. Flair gives him a smile as if to say "That's why I'm the dirtiest play in the game kid." Anderson tags in Flair and the Nature Boy goes to work he locks in the figure four. Orton can't take it anymore and he runs in the ring and stomps Flair. All hit the ring and the ref has lost control. Dibiase and Rhodes brawl with The Wrecking Crew. Orton hits the RKO on Flair but gets tripped by JJ Dillon who interjects himself in the match. AA who has dispatched Rhodes enters the ring and hits the Spinebuster on Orton. Rhodes renters and he and Arn brawl again. Flair is back on his feet with Orton and Orton attack irish whipping Flair into the corner Orton charges but Flair elbows him and grabs his legs and Orton falls to the mat. Flair covers his feet on the ropes the ref has lost control in chaos he doesn't realize Orton isn't the legal man and he makes the count 1..2..3! The Horsemen win Flair, Dillon and the Wrecking Crew leave victorious taunting the neophytes. Orton is screaming at the ref that he wasn't the legal man but the ref just shakes his head and leaves the ring with Orton pitching a hissy fit. The Horsemen are victorious.

Match 8-Champions Invitational Battle Royal. The greatest champions of the past 20 are invited to this match. Just simply to have one great champion left standing. Those who have already participated in this card are not eligible. To be eligible you must be a multi time recognized world champion since 1990. Two men eligible for this match are not participating we'll find out later why.
Commentators: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
Participants: HHH, Shawn Michaels, Edge, The Rock, Undertaker, Sting, Bill Goldberg, Sid Vicious, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Batista, Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page, Vader, Brock Lesnar, John Cena. The rules: Over the top rop battle royal.
The match is of course a brawl to begin old fueds seem to come out as Lesnar attacks Goldberg. HHH and The Rock brawl. John Cena goes after Edge. The crowd roars as Sting and The Undertaker go at it. Not suprisingly despite being a two time WCW champ in the early 90s Vader is outclassed by the rest and is eliminated by The Big Show. The next to go is Sid as Shawn Michaels takes out his former body guard with Sweet Chin Music and sid goes over. No one goes out for a few minutes until The Big Show and Batista eliminate each other both falling over the top. The next elimation occurs when The Undertaker turns his attention to an old foe in DDP and throws him out. Some of the combantants change around as now The Rock is teaming up on Lesnar with Goldberg, Sting and Edge battle and Edge goes out but through the middle rope so he is not eliminated. The next to go is Brock Lesnar and then Goldberg both eliminated by The People's Champion who gets the crowd going with the People's Eyebrow. Michaels and Jericho go at it fighting it out Jericho is eliminated and Micheals falls to the mat after Cena attacks them both. Cena smirk at Jericho but then the crowd lets out a mix of boos and cheers as the ultimate opportunist Edge sneaks back in and takes out Cena. His rejoicing is short lived however as he is the victim of a "from behind" attack as well as "The Cerebral Assassin" eliminates Edge. Booker T is shortly taken out thereafter by Sting who then also elimates the Heartbreak Kid. That leaves a Final Four of Sting, The Undertaker, HHH and The Rock. The crowd is unhinged as these four legends stare each other down. Sting lunges for HHH and The Undertaker and The Rock battle. HHH dodges a Stinger splash hits the facebuster and eliminates Sting. Taker counters a Rock Bottom and out goes The People's Champ. It's down to "The Game" and "The Phenom" both men are exausted but battle it out like warriors a chokeslam gives Taker the upper hand but the Phenom makes a huge error putting HHH in the corner and going for Old school. HHH pulls on Taker and he falls on the ropes HHH charges and the Phenom goes over. HHH WINS!!!! The crowd erupts as HHH's theme music blares throughout the garden. Jim Ross screams tonight HHH truly became the KING OF KINGS!"

Next up the faces of the WWE's two biggest eras collide Representing the golden age of the 80s The IMMORATAL HULK HOGAN and the man who brought Attitude to the WWE "The Texas Rattlesnake" Stone Cold Steve Austin.Commentators: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

The two stand face to face and the crowd is split right down the middle Austin takes the first advantage his brawling style wearing out Hogan. Hogan sticks out his hand to shake but Austin replies with the finger. The match goes out on the floor quickly and Hogan gets the upper hand by reversing an irish whip into the steel steps. The match goes back and forth for several minutes the crowd still electric. Austin gets the upper hand with a Lou Thesz press and then punching Hogan. Austin dominates for a time and throws Hogan in the corner and starts to stomp him down but then it happen. Hogan Hulks up he counters a punch and wears out Austin. The big boot. The atomic leg drop. 1 and 2 and AUSTIN KICKS OUT!!!! Hogan can't beleive it. He gets up and picks up Austin. Austin counters a punch the Kick STONE COLD STUNNER!!!!! The three count Austin wins!!!!! The Rattlesnake is victorious. The beers come flying in the ring and Austin drinks up. Hogan stands up and is not happy but once again holds out his hand to Austin. Austin doesn't shake his hand but hands him a beer and they toast and drink up the crowd loves it. Austin stands on the ropes playing to the crowd and Hogan poses in the middle of the ring. "It truly has been a night to remember" Jim Ross proclaims as we go off the air.

Wow. Some of these posts are so ridiculous. Here is my very traditional dream card.

Ladder Match
HBK Vs. RVD. We only got to see these two square off once, in a match that ended in a HHH screwjob. This needed to be a full on feud.

Austin Vs. Hogan.
It's one of the last dream matches and Hogan needs a stunner. If the timing were better it would've already happened and Hogan would've passed the torch.

I Quit Match
Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle. Even Bret wanted to have this match, and I wouldn't begrudge him that.

Owen Hart vs. Chris Benoit.
I would've loved to see this upon Benoit and the radicalz entering the fed. It would have been spectacular.

Ric Flair (Early 80's) Vs. Mr. Perfect (Early 90's) w/ Bobby Heenan in a neutral corner. The Brain being the greatest manager and announcer of all time could only have made this match better. Would he side w/ his hero or his protege?

Edge & Christian Vs. The Eliminators.
No great reason here, I just think they're the two greatest tag teams ever. The Dudleyz wouldn't have a legacy if the Eliminators never parted ways.

Undertaker vs. Sting.
The company men if you will. Both consistently over in their respective homes and respected by their peers.

HHH Vs. The Ultimate Warrior.
Just because payback would be a bitch today.

Raven w/Beaullah Vs. Shane Douglas w/ Francine.
The two best heels that ECW ever had. But who was better?I can't swear it but I can't remember this singles match ever taking place.

A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe Vs. Sabu and Tazz.
This would truly be extreme warfare. These four match up so well.

Chris Jericho Vs. Ultimo Dragon
It was probably my favorite WCW match ever. I think it took place @ a Spring Stampede. Stellar match.

No cluster-F matches here. Give me 11 one on one's

Hitman vs Kurt Angle (i'm super happy everyone seems to agree with this one, and if you don't UGHH)

Andre vs Big Show (another one that many many people have, the staredown to start the match would be awesome)

Undertaker vs Sting - similar dark persona's who were the face of their respected companies

HHH vs HBK- lotsa history to have a great buildup

Benoit vs Eddie- best friends face off

Jericho vs Steamboat- both deserve to be on the card and would put on a great match. Not sure what kind of build up there would be.

Road Warriors vs Demoliton (some may not agree, but i always considered demolition the dominate team growing up)

Trish vs Moolah (Moolah was the women's champ for 121 years, so she should face the best of modern day)

Austin and Rock vs NWO (Hall Nash Xpac / Biscoff) - im not happy with this being a tag match, but the NWO needs to be represented for their contribution to wrestling, and Austin and the rock need to be there.

I struggle with this match, not knowing who deserves to be here. RVD, Edge, Savage, Goldberg. I decided on Savage with Miss Elizabeth vs Edge. Edge who has live sex, f's best friends gf's, marries dead wrestlers wives, makes out with his championship belt , basically a woman user - would make good build up with the delicate Elizabeth and Savage.

Hogan vs Flair- each at thier prime

1. Rick Rude vs Jericho

Battle of 2 skilled mic men and solid workers...Rude goes over with the Rude Awakening

2. Mr.Perfect vs Randy Orton

Imagine how amazing this could've been, I would want this match to be close to an hour of fast action and many, many near falls

Winner: Mr.Perfect

3. British Bulldogs vs The Hardy's

The action would not stop and the things Dynamite and Jeff could do together would be insane

Winner: Bulldogs

4. (2 of 3 Falls) Bret Hart vs Ricky Steamboat

A dream match for me, enough said

Winner: Steamboat takes falls 1 & 3

5. (Strap Match) Arn Anderson vs JBL

2 old school guys who can bang

Winner: AA ducks a Clothesline From Hell and nails a Spinebuster

6. Randy Savage vs. HBK

I know they fought each other quite a bit when Shawn 1st became a singles star but Randy vs Shawn in his prime would have been a treat for anyone

Winner: HBK

7. Ted Dibiase vs Shelton Benjamin

The 2 greatest stars to never be world champ

Winner: Dibiase with the Million Dollar Dream

8. Roddy Piper vs Edge

The crazy mad man from the 80's vs the crazy mad man of the 00's

Winner: Edge with The Spear

9. HHH vs Harley Race

In my opinion the 2 greatest workers of all time

Winner: HHH with a roll up

10. (Texas Death Match) Undertaker vs Brusier Brody

The 2 most legit tough guys in the history of the industry. Had Brody not been killed this guy would have had his face all over the WWE winning many title

Winner: Brody after hitting Taker with 3 Piledrivers to Taker on the concrete floor
