Professional wrestling is crazy by nature -- you can't get fans to tune in for a couple of guys pretend-fighting for an hour; you need to spice it up. In America, this is done with gimmicks and outlandish personalities and openly silly story lines. In Japan, this is done with utter insanity.

Quick recap:

Little girls wrestle grown men.
Muta sprayed his green mist in a woman's vagina, she laid an egg and the egg hatched as Muta's son and a wrestler. (My favorite)
An invisible wrestler
A wrestler that was a blowup doll
A stereotypical gay wrestler named Hard Gay.

They show pics and videos. It's freakin' crazy the stuff they do over there. It makes the Katie Vick storyline look tame.
