Y2J vs JBL

After Bradshaws intereference last night at Armageddon it looks these two are going to feud possibly leading to a match at Wrestlemania. I think that this was a great move and a good way to get JBL back as a active competitor. JBL will probaly be a bit rusty getting back in the squared circle, but Jericho will be able to carry him to solid match. I cant wait to see these two on the mic together, two of best mic workers in the buisiness. Thoughts???

While I hate how the match ended last night I like the fact that JBL is getting back in the ring. BDK is right they are two of the best mic workers ever in the WWE. Y2J can get the audience to react anyway he wants them to and JBL generates great heel heat just by standing there. These two will put on a great match at Wrestlemania.

Well, the mic work better be stellar, because the in-ring work is probably going to be pretty rough. There's going to be a bunch of ring rust on Y2J and JBL, I'm sure.

Besides, why would Jericho come back for this feud? Sounds to me like the crowd responses weren't what the McMahon's envisioned for Chris upon his return and they're using this to try to build him up a bit before he gets entrenched in a long term run with Randy.

Jericho can be entertaining at times, but I could care less if the wrestling god JBL ever stepped foot in the ring again.

I won't be watching this feud (Y2J/JBL) as it doesn't interest me in the slightest.

i think this was a great way to get jbl back into the mix. I have always loved his mic work and thought that as a brawler, could do what it takes to put on an entertaining match. I am eagerly awaiting this fued

I also think this is a great way to bring JBL back. Look Y2J had a good match with orton but he is still suffering from ring rust, so he needs to be put in a good feud where he can get back to wrestling at his finest. And the same goes for JBL, he needs a good wrestler to help him get back into the ring and im looking forward to it. The promos will be great as JBL is a great heel talker and Y2J is getting back to his good self on the mic, so i think this feud could be golden if they play it right.

I couldnt agree with u more but, i think that its a bad step backwards 4 Y2J seriously this guy was supose 2 be our 2nd cuming our saviour, 2 save us from Randy Orton, did he no, did he cum close yes, id he persist no, did wwe persist no.
I think that wwe r disapointed with Y2J u c all the reports on wrestlezone .com, HHH upset with Y2J, WWE angry with Y2J, so y not get rid of the save us even though we had 2-3 months of continous promos, ur2nd coming, save us, Y+2 n woteva 4 nothing so now they stick im with a feud with jbl, hu mind u is a great wrestler.
JBL gets booed after he saves lives no matter wot JBL dus no1 likes him besides edge he is still the best heel evn in his commentating days i think this will be a great feud but so far i have been letdown by Y2J hopefully this feud brings out the best in him.

well from an entertainment point of view this feud should be good, though only on the mic, cuz i cant stand JBL in ring, it better be a gimmick match or Y2J better be ready to carry JBL the whole match lol

though great idea to get JBL back in the ring, but still... this sucks, i guess Y2J didnt get the pops WWE wanted after all... but when jericho almost made randy tap, the crowd were all on their feet goin pretty crazy IMO i think he shouldve won that match but o well... big step back for chris, giant step for JBL.. does this mean he will be on raw? doubt it...

I'm just so happy that Raw is getting another heel. Randy Orton is the only real main event heel on Raw right now. JBL is great on the mic and could actually win the title some da unlike people like Umaga who would need to be moved to Smackdown or ECW in order to get a break. It would have been nice to see Jericho get the title again but he should have a really good feud with JBL. Something was lacking in the Jericho and Orton feud. Maybe because Orton isn't great cutting promos that won't happen with JBL.

I hope that if this feud is going to take place that it takes place on just one show. I don't like when WWE tries to have a rivalry with 1 guy on SD! and the other on Raw. Hopefully Y2J will go to SD! or JBL to Raw. The feud itself though should be rather good. If it's going to happen at mania though I think both men are going to need to have a few matches prior to it. JBL, I'm sure has some ring rust, and from what we've seen from Y2J I'd say he has some as well. The promos should be all out awsome. You got arguably 2 of the biggest egos in the WWE colliding and both can cut very good promos. I give this feud a thumbs up, and can't wait to see where it goes.

Well this matchup is much better than the proposed JBL/Batista match that WWE had considered for Mania. And on top of that I'm a huge JBL fan. I was probably the only one who actually rooted for him during his title defenses in 2004/05. So the thought of him coming back and main-eventing again(maybe?) is a dream come true.

Hopefully this feud will get Jericho over with the fans while setting up a potential JBL/HHH feud in the process(if HHH is still babyface that is).

I hate This nonsenses....!!! I was a great fan of WWE and expected Y2J to win the title at armageddon but now... what we goT? edge and orton as World champions? this is pathetic... I can't watch this show anymore. We more things go on wwe the more they're gettin borring.. Those wwe scenario writters are insane... It would be great to see real entertainers like HHH or

Are you kidding me or what? How in the hell can u say that about Edge. Edge is a great wrestler, and one of the best heels in the business today. Edge is an entertainer and is a great champ and besides, HHH has been champ for so long and has so many title reigns, its time for the younger stars to get a push. Y2J just came back, so u cant expect him to get the title so quickly! An Orton has the title cause he is also a great heel, or he was before he got the title now he has dropped a bit, but to say edge is boring and HHH should have the title, sorry but your out of your mind! You need to realise, HHH has had his time, its time for the future!

This is your 'A-typical' classic mark reply, in which the most common of plain fans will get pissed off that a face didn't win the Championship, & the heels retained/won the Championships.

First & formost, what would it say about the W.W.E. Championship to simply "hand" it over to Chris Jericho, just because the guy came back. (who last I checked, he left the damn business due to being burnt out, yet others like Edge & Orton remain strong in the company, dispite the hectic road schedule.)

As far as your comment on boring "gimmicks." Both Randy Orton & Edge have unique gimmicks. Randy Orton has prided himself off being a "Legend Killer" & noone else can hold claim to having the streak against legends, that he has. Meanwhile, Edge has become the most controversial Superstar in the W.W.E. today with everything he's doing.

In fact, I'd go on to say & believe the only reason you "hate" Edge, is because you can't stand the gimmick/storyline.. which only should be more credit to him, because he's pulling it off, by making you hate him for it.

Regarding Triple H.. what makes him a "real entertainer?" A crotch chop & tons of mini-segments with midgets? Yeah, it worked real well for Doink. You only proclaim Triple H. a "real entertainer" because (once again) you're an A-typical fan, that only cheers for the faces & boos the heels. You have no sense of self-respect for the wrestlers as a whole, or the business as it is. You see what a typical fan, with no knowledge of the business through the inside would see.

FINALLY.. to remain ON-TOPIC: The fact that J.B.L. attacked Chris Jericho could lead to one of the best undercard feuds of Wrestlemania. John Bradshaw Layfield has been out of wrestling for over a year.. Chris Jericho just returned. This is the best way to get both Superstars back in the spotlight, without handing either of them a Championship as if its nothing more than a tool.

I just want to add Jericho had some funny remarks on raw, "You sound like the worlds biggest ugliest baby" "You sell your balls on wall street" classic stuff. JBL had a farewell address on Smackdown, It looks JBL going to have another run on RAW. This will be a good move, theres many new faces on raw he can feud with. He can always go back to commentating.

I could not of said it better myself, i was going to post very similar to what you have here, yet i see you have saved me the job.

It's true that what we have here is a typical blinded, unknowing fan who claims that wrestlers such as Edge and Orton being champions are 'boring', and would rather have a face lead the company such as Triple H who has carried the title before for many years and been in the main event picture over and over. Reasons why you claim to 'hate' wrestlers such as Edge is because he pulls his way as a heel so well that it allows blinded unknowing fans such as your self to be drawn in to his controversial character.

Basically everything i have wished to of said has been said in the above post and i would just like to credit the WWE here for giving us a new taste in talent uprising. I love what we have going on at the moment with the upraise of Jeff into a title picture and some young fresh heels as champions, as well as putting key wrestlers such as Triple H, Y2J, and JBL, into great under card rivalries. This is far more entertaining to me and feels like a breath of fresh air for the new year
