Xavier Woods & Austin Crews

Or rather, Austin Creed & Apollo Crews.

This is a team that I would like to see, because Apollo Crews is currently using a gimmick inspired by Apollo Creed while Xavier had at one time used a similar gimmick when he was in TNA, as Austin Creed.

Here is my idea on how the team could form.

Have Xavier Woods get some kind of kayfabe injury and keep him out a month or so (maybe it can even be Ina match against Apollo Crews)

Then Apollo Crews can start advertising the coming of a tag team partne, which would be Xavier Woods as Austin Creed.

A few reasons I disagree with the idea

1. Crews is along way off a main roster spot
2. Woods has found the perfect role for himself with the New Day
3. WWE would not want to recycle a TNA gimmick
4. Crews should establish himself on his own and only get a manager or partner if he struggles

When he was in TNA, Woods was Consequences Creed. Apollo will not get called up for a LONG time.

Why would you want Xavier Woods, the mouth of the hottest tag team in WWE, WWE tag team Champion, to get split from his Red Hot team The New Day and change his gimmick completely? Asinine decision that would be if it happens.

Xavier Woods and the rest of his New Day members are possibly the hottest tag division that we had seen over the last few years. The way they connect with the crowd and everything they do is just amazing. It won't be a brilliant decision to change his gimmick into Apollo Creed or whatever else.
