People should feel free to battle each other now. Once you have your deck, you can battle at any time. Each winner of a match gets to select a random number from the regular deck as a reward. Just leave the number of your card at the end of your battle thread and I'll PM you the card you have won.

Ooooh, we keep our deck? Good, I ended up with a good deck.
What I have noticed is that it is too easy for the person who wins the toss to control the match from the start. I think we should alternate turns from the outset. Person A wins the toss and selects first. Regardless of the result, person B then gets to choose a category. So on and so forth...

UPDATE!
So, the first few battles of the Top Trumps game are now in the books. I want to thank everyone who took part in it. It highlighted the need for some fairer ways of operating and how we can go forward with this game and make it, hopefully, even bigger and better. One such way that I have thought about how we could manage that, is the addition of Support Cards.
Here are the first few designs:
Obviously, I don't want to introduce these without talking to the players. So I put it to you, do you like the idea of adding these in? If so, how do we add them in? Personally, I like the idea of people randomly drawing 1 card, much in the same way as you drew your deck, and then being able to use them once per battle. Seems easy enough. But what do you think? And finally on this, what other cards could we introduce to make things fairer? I'm struggling to even the height and weight attributes as a priority.
I have also spoken to KB about getting a part of the forum to play this and not get in the way. Right now, the game is in it's infant stages and he wants to see how it goes.
So, with that in mind, I have a few questions for you guys. Any answers will garner some rep from yours truly.
1. What's good about the game?
2. What needs improvement?
3. What could happen in the future to keep the game interesting?
4. Does the battle system seem fair?

-- Players can only select one support card to take into battle.
---Support cards can't be used against Champion Cards.
---To eliminate ties, once a player runs out of cards (during the tie) they go into sudden death, all cards are back, first point wins.
---- Players can trade cards with each other outside battles and announce trades
---Have tag team matches (2 vs 2) same rules as 1 vs 1 except everything is doubled.

--- Have a thread where players can keep their decks stored instead of in PM land.
