Thoughts:
-It pains me as well, but I think it's time for the tag team division to go on the back burner. I love tag teams, but unless you guys start allowing tag teams run by one person who only has to submit one RP (which would be a nightmare to judge against people with two characters) we just don't have the depth right now. That's the struggle with RP-based results - people can't sign up fun filler characters to pad out a roster, and no one likes pulling double duty. I don't think how WZCW operates is bad at all, it just limits certain solutions I'd pitch otherwise. Keep teams and stables around, but have them be part of regular feuds and angles.
It's a shame because too often g team can bring out the best in each other. Strikeforce and Saxoteur, for example, or Barbosa and SHIT. The Bearded Gentlemen. During what I call the golden age of the tag division you had strong, full time teams who didn't want to break up because they were having a great time improving and learning. Nowadays you don't have that. Salvific Knights might have went somewhere but hey, Kapu is Kaput.
I'd say deactivate the titles for now and move on. A shame, but it's just a matter of depth and commitment in my eyes.
It's almost funny, after Karzai and Lights were put into a team and I got really burned out my first run, I swore up and down I'd never be in a team again. Then JGlass happened and tag team wrestling is one of my favorite things in efedding and I'm part of a billion tag teams and alliances.
Also remember, just because the tag titles would be retired doesn't mean you can't form an alliance with another member.
-100% yes on part-timers. Same with Jeff's suggestion of us having part-time characters. It gives roster depth, it allows for people with limited schedules to compete and enjoy themselves, and it doesn't take away from the full-timers getting title shots. I've been a proponent of part-timers for years now. I see no downsides. It boosts numbers, feud options, and allows for shock announcements when a certain part-timer returns or is inserted into a match. Great idea.
-My nomination for the Legacy award is Miko. He and Barbosa both but special shoutouts to Miko. He turned the fed on its head with SHIT and adds such a huge and necessary dimension to the fed that few others can match. Almost no one can pull off the balance of absurdity and serious philosophy like he can and his feedback always made the fed a better place. Sharp as a tack where it counted and influential as hell with the doors SHIT opened for other outlandish characters.
