The elimination chamber lowers from the ceiling of Madison Square Garden to a pop from the crowd. Once they quiet down, Truman Harrys begins announcing the rules of the match as the ring crew secures the chamber.
Harrys: It is now time for the King For a Day match. The men who drew numbers 1 and 2 will begin the match, and every 5 minutes a new competitor will enter the match. Participants can be eliminated by pinfall or submission. The last man remaining will become the King For a Day, and earn a contract for a WZCW World Championship match at any time of their choosing.
“Megaman 2” hits and Baez jumps out of the Gorilla position and lands crouching. After waiting and looking for a bit, he keeps walking on to the ring.
Harrys: From Rat’s Ass, America and weighing in at 225 pounds, Baez!
He enters a pod as “Always” plays through the arena and slowly walks do to the chamber.
Harrys: From London, England and weighing in at 268 pounds, Big Dave!
He taunts the already locked up Baez before entering a pod of his own.

“Psychotically Deranged” blasts and Dr. Steven Kurtesy walks out and stands on the stage looking out into the crowd. He slowly takes off his sunglasses and places them on his head before walking down the ramp.
Harrys: From Sydney, Australia and weighing in at 235 pounds, Dr. Steven Kurtesy!
Kurtesy stares both Baez and Big Dave down before entering his pod. “End on 9” hits and Gordito comes out from behind the curtain and plays to the crowd as he heads toward the ring.
Harrys: From San Francisco, California and weighing in at 257 pounds, Gordito!
Gordito poses on the turnbuckle in front of all 3 of his opponents before entering his own. “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” plays and Barbosa heads toward the ring, full of energy this week.
Harrys: From Bedlam and weighing in at 237 pounds, Барбоса!
Barbosa stands in the ring, waiting for the last man in the match. “Ecstasy of Gold” hits and Hunter Kravinoff heads toward the ring, Sigmund Freud portrait in tow and wearing a crown from Burger King on his head.
Harrys: From Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada by way of the East African Republic of Uganda and weighing in at 245 pounds, he is accompanied to the ring by the father of psychoanalytic theory, Sigmund Freud, Hunter Kravinoff!
Kravinoff attempts to bring his portrait of Freud into the ring with him but the referee stops him. Kravinoff puts up an argument, but the referee audibly tells him that no managers are allowed inside the chamber. Hunter gives the portrait and his crown to one of the referees outside the ring as the chamber is locked and the bell rings.
Kravinoff and Barbosa circle each other, seemingly not wanting to lock up with a man that he had formed a relationship with recently. Kravinoff approaches Barbosa and begins saying something to him, to which Barbosa nods in agreement. They shake hands, which is greeted with a chorus of boos from the crowd. Kravinoff turns around to taunt the crowd and their opponents, but while his back is turned, Barbosa has a strong convulsion and the expression on his face changes to a creepy, evil grin. He sneaks up behind Kravinoff and rolls him up, 1…2.. Kravinoff is able to kick out. They both get back to their feet, with Kravinoff looking furious. He shakes his head and turns to walk away, but instead turns and connects with a right hand directly to the jaw of Barbosa, sending him stumbling backward. The two men stare each other down, and lock up furiously. Kravinoff gains the advantage with a side headlock, but Barbosa quickly slips out and grabs a rear waistlock. He tries to lock up Kravinoff’s arms for the Split Personality, but Kravinoff is able to drop down out of it and score with a double leg takedown on Barbosa, and both men quickly scramble back to their feet. They go for a lock up once more, but Kravinoff hits Barbosa with a knee to the midsection, doubling him over. Kravinoff grabs Barbosa by the back of the head and tries to throw him to the steel grating outside of the ring, but Barbosa is able to land on his feet. Kravinoff and Barbosa just stare at each other for a few moments as the countdown clock appears on the tron to prepare the crowd for the next entrant. The buzzer goes off, and Baez is released from his pod.
Cohen: Baez has shown his true colors lately, and I, for one, am a fan of the new Baez.
Copeland: I don’t understand what there is to be a fan of, Jack. Baez is just jealous of his former friend, Gordito’s success and is resorting cowardly attacks to try and prove a point.
Connor: Attacks like the ones Baez has been using lately could prove to be gamechangers inside the chamber, however.
Baez is released right next to Barbosa, who charges at the masked man almost immediately. Kravinoff begins head toward the two men and they trade right hands just outside of the opened pod. Baez finally ducks a right hand from Barbosa, who screams out in pain as his hand connects with the steel entrance frame of the pod. Kravinoff charges past Barbosa, trying for a flying knee on Baez, but Baez grabs the sliding door of the pod and pulls it shut, slamming Kravinoff’s leg in it in the process. Baez opens the door as Kravinoff lets out yells of pure agony. Baez grabs the injured leg of Kravinoff and DDTs it hard onto the steel grating. Barbosa charges at Baez, but Baez ducks the attack and back body drops Barbosa on Kravinoff and his injured leg. Baez picks up Barbosa and throws him face first into the steel chain making up the outside walls of the chamber. Barbosa collapses into a heap as Baez goes back to work on Kravinoff. He grabs the injured leg and taunts Kravinoff before unleashing a strong kick directly to the side of the knee. Baez leans down to taunt Kravinoff more, but Kravinoff grabs Baez’s head and rolls him up in a schoolboy pin, 1…2.. Baez kicks out using a leg that Kravinoff couldn’t hook with his bad leg. Baez gets back to his feet, but right into the clutches of the bloodied Barbosa, who drops him with a DDT. Without releasing the facelock, Barbosa pulls himself and Baez back up and completes the Duplicity. Barbosa looks over at Kravinoff, but picks up Baez and throws him over the top rope and back into the ring. The countdown clock begins once again as Barbosa lifts up Baez for a bucklebomb. Baez crashes into the turnbuckle right as the buzzer goes off and Dr. Steven Kurtesy is released from his pod.
Copeland: Dr. Kurtesy has seemingly distanced himself from the rest of the Crashin Movement as of late, and winning King For a Day could help to really establish him as a World Title threat.
Connor: He’ll have to get through Barbosa who is currently in control of this match, though. And I can’t help but wonder how seriously Hunter Kravinoff is injured, as he is still unable to get up from Baez’s attack earlier.
Kurtesy enters the ring, but sees Kravinoff vulnerable on the outside still and makes a beeline for him. Barbosa drives Baez into the mat with a corner bulldog as Kurtesy climbs out of the ring on the other side. Barbosa goes for a cover on Baez, 1…2… Baez is able to get his shoulder up. On the outside, Kurtesy picks up Kravinoff, who can’t put any weight onto his right leg. Kravinoff is able to fight of Kurtesy, however, with a series of rights and lefts that stun the doctor. He then grabs Kurtesy’s head, and launches them with his good leg into a bulldog onto the steel. Back in the ring, Barbosa grabs Baez for the Doppelgänger, but Baez is able to escape and jump into a headscissors on Barbosa, and using his arms, Baez trips Barbosa and sends him headfirst into the mat. Both men are down, but Baez rolls toward the outside. Using the ropes, he pulls himself to his feet and waits for Barbosa to get back to his feet as well. Baez launches himself for a springboard dropkick, but Barbosa catches him on his shoulders and hits the Mood Stabilizer. Baez ends up motionless on the mat after the move, and Barbosa locks in the Bipolar Disorder. The referee sees that Baez is out cold and signals that Baez is out of the match.
Harrys: Baez has been eliminated!
The referee pulls Barbosa off of Baez, and more refs come in to help carry Baez to the back. On the outside, Kurtesy and Kravinoff both have made it back to their feet and trade right hands. Kurtesy blocks one from Kravinoff and connects with a palm strike to the chest of Kravinoff. While Kravinoff is stunned, Kurtesy grabs his bad leg and takes Kravinoff down with a dragon screw leg whip, and chains it into a single leg Boston crab. Kravinoff screams out in pain and looks ready to tap, but Barbosa comes out and grabs a front facelock on Kurtesy, pulls him off of Kravinoff, and begins driving knees into the skull of Kurtesy. Barbosa finally lets up when Kurtesy begins going limp. Barbosa drops Kurtesy into a heap and goes for a pin, 1…2.. Kurtesy gets his shoulder up. Barbosa looks at the ref in disbelief as the countdown clock begins once again. The buzzer sounds and out comes Big Dave.
Cohen: Dave has dominated a WZCW legend in Everest the past couple months, now he’s ready to prove that he is a legend in the making by taking the first step toward the WZCW Title: winning the King For a Day contract.
Copeland: I wouldn’t be so confident, Jack. Barbosa has been pretty dominant thus far in the chamber.
Connor: Don’t forget guys, this means that Gordito has the advantageous position of entering last. Let’s see how damaged his opponents are by the time he enters.
Dave exits his pod, and goes around the turnbuckle to go after Kravinoff. Kravinoff has started fighting back to his feet, but is met with a right hand from Dave. Kravinoff is stunned as Dave lifts Kravinoff up, locks in a pumphandle, and suplexes Hunter back into the ring. Before Dave can get in the ring, however, Barbosa charges at him and scores with a swinging neckbreaker on the grating. Barbosa tries to lock in the Bipolar Disorder on Dave, but Dave fights it off and slams Barbosa into the pod in the process. Dave sees Barbosa prone against the pod and charges for a spear, but Barbosa gets out of the way. Dave is able to stop in time, but doesn’t see Kravinoff picking up momentum in the ring, despite his bad leg. Kravinoff dives through the ropes and drives himself and Dave through the Plexiglas of the pod. The crowd chants “Holy Shit!” and Barbosa looks at the carnage with a stunned look on his face. From behind, however, Kurtesy sneaks up and locks in the Hypnosis on Barbosa. Barbosa tries fighting out of it, but is fading quickly. Out of nowhere, Barbosa grabs Kurtesy’s arms, slips out of the hold, and hits the Split Personality. All four men are down as the crowd cheers to root their favorite back to his feet.
Cohen: It looks as though you were right, CC. These guys all look spent and that idiot Gordito is seemingly going to have his pick as to who he wants to eliminate.
Copeland: Don’t get ahead of yourself, Jack. All four of these men have shown incredible resilience during their respective careers and I’m sure they all realize what is at stake here and can take it an even higher level tonight.
The four men all begin to stir at about the same time, intermittently throwing weak right hands at their nearest competitor. All four finally make it back to their feet and stumble into a group. They continue throwing punches, hoping they make contact with something. The countdown clock starts as Barbosa gets knocked down by Dave and Kurtesy sends Kravinoff into the ring. The buzzer goes off and Gordito charges into the ring, dropping Kurtesy with a crossbody block. He looks down and sees that he is standing between Kravinoff and Kurtesy, poses for the fans, and drops an elbow on each. Gordito stretches out and covers both men at the same time, 1…2… both men get a shoulder up just before 3. Neither man is getting up, however, so Gordito climbs to the top as Dave and Barbosa continue to slug it out on the outside. Gordito comes off for an elbow drop, but Kurtesy hops up and drills Gordito with a spin wheel kick to the jaw, sending Gordito backwards almost into a back senton onto Kravinoff. Kurtesy looks at both men, and decides to pin Kravinoff, 1…2… Kravinoff just gets his shoulder up at the last moment. Kurtesy looks at the referee in disbelief, but doesn’t see Gordito coming toward him until Gordito connects with an European uppercut. Big Dave climbs into the ring after dropping Barbosa with a big boot, but is sent back out as Gordito hits him with a dropkick. Kurtesy has stumbled back to his feet but Gordito charges at him as well and they both go to the outside from Gordito’s Cactus clothesline. Kravinoff has begun to stir, and hobbles his way out to join Gordito and Kurtesy. Gordito sees Kravinoff coming, and goes for a chop block as soon as Hunter gets outside the ring. Kravinoff avoids it, however, and Gordito’s skull bounces off the grating. He stumbles back to his feet, and right into a double-underhook DDT from Kravinoff. He rolls Gordito over into a pin, 1…2…3!
Harrys: Gordito has been eliminated!
Copeland: Gordito came in like a house of fire, but that energy might have been his downfall as he got a little too excited there at the end.
Connor: Hunter Kravinoff’s endurance through a potentially catastrophic knee injury is just remarkable to me right now.
Kurtesy sees Kravinoff lying prone on the ground and goes to roll him up. Both men’s shoulders are down, however and the referee begins counting for both men, 1…2…3!
Harrys: The referee has ruled both men’s shoulders were down for a count of three, therefore both Hunter Kravinoff and Dr. Steven Kurtesy have been eliminated!
Kurtesy cannot believe that he has been eliminated and starts questioning the referee, but the three eliminated men all leave the chamber. Dave and Barbosa have fought their way back into the ring. Dave whips Barbosa into the ropes and plants him with a powerslam. He follows up with a big leg drop and goes for the cover, 1…2… Barbosa gets a shoulder up. Dave picks up Barbosa and tries for the catatonic backbreaker, but Barbosa reverses into a DDT, holds on and completes the Duplicity. Barbosa goes for the pin, 1…2… Dave gets his shoulder up. Barbosa tries to quickly lock in the Bipolar Disorder, but Dave escapes and scrambles back to his feet. Barbosa meets him with a stiff right hand. Dave is dazed, and Barbosa goes for the Doppelgänger. Dave is able to escape, however, and connects with a roundhouse kick to the head of Barbosa. Barbosa stumbles back into the corner. Dave follows him in and lifts him onto the top rope. Dave climbs up, and lifts Barbosa higher on top of the pod. Dave climbs up as well and tries for a spider suplex. Barbosa blocks it, however, and maneuvers around and locks in the Bipolar Disorder. Dave prevents it from getting locked in too tight, and adjusts Barbosa. He stands, lets out a yell and hits a Stamp of Authority from the top of the pod to the mat! Both men lie prone for a moment, before Dave gets up and yells again, picks up Barbosa, and plants him with a second Stamp of Authority. Dave rolls him into the pin, 1…2…3!
Harrys: The winner of the King For a Day match, Big Dave!
Big Dave collapses onto the mat from exhaustion as referees come in to check on both men. Dave refuses help, however, and stands up to have his hand raised in victory. He makes his way out of the chamber and onto the stage where he poses, signals with his hands that he’s going to win the belt, and heads backstage. Barbosa is helped out of the ring as the chamber rises to the ceiling.
