First off, I'd like to say I am sorry if me wanting the show up and complaining about it is annoying. Being annoying isn't my goal, I just really want the show up. That is all. Once it's posted, all of this will hopefully be behind us.
That being said, I don't want any of the following to be taken as bitching, because it is not.
Derf,
The only one complaining about the lack of show right now (and pretty much ever) is you. If you want a show to come out when you want it to come out...write your own show. You can have it come out every week and have it run exactly how you want it to be run. No waiting around on people to have conflicts, miscommunicate, have internet problems, and yes...have real lives.
You can say, "don't play the forums were down card/i've got a real life card," but too bad. I'm playing them. The forums being down really took away any kind of momentum that we had going. And real life happens. For you to make that statement just makes you sound like a fool.
Frankly, I don't have to answer to you or give you reasons for why things aren't gettomg done. I'm doing the best I freaking can right now. Things are in motion, but things still aren't back to full strength from the forums being down. Will is out with internet problems, and that is absolutely devastating. So, instead of just complaining about stuff not getting done...try to find out what the frick is going on.
If you don't like things, the there's the door...don't let it hit you on the way out. I'm tired of listening to your complaining, as is everyone else. We've frankly put up with it for long enough. I've given you chance after chance, been overly patient with you and your frustrations, but you still complain about the show not being up and then attack staff for essentially being lazy or holding onto positions that we shouldn't continue to occupy. Norcal said that this place is sucking big time, and yeah it does. The only traffic that's coming through is you coming to complain about a fake box of text not being posted when you want it to be.
So, there you go. The line's been drawn in the sand. If you want to stay on, then cool it. If you want to jump off this ship, no one's going to stop you.
The first part in bold... I did try to find out whats going on. I asked you a few days ago if I could help, and you told me that you didn't think there was anything else that needed to be done. That gave me hope that the show would be up soon.
A few days later, Monkey made a post in here asking the few people that needed to hand in matchs to, well, hand in matchs. At that point, I figured "If we're only waiting on one person to do a match, I'll offer to do it now so the show can get out." I asked Monkey if I could write the match, he said yes, so I wrote it up right then and there. I sent it to him, he thanked me, and he also mentioned a few others still needed to hand in matchs. That was upsetting, but I didn't really say anything about it. In short, I tried to find out what was going on to the best of my ability, and I tried to help with that.
The 2nd part in bold... Quite simply, your right. The only traffic in here is me "complaining". I also tried to create conversation by doing some research on former champions and I mentioned an e-fed contest on a different forum, in hopes to create non complaining conversation, but neither worked. Besides that, we've had no traffic at all, which is a very bad thing.
Once again, I'd like to add I'm trying not to bitch. I got attacked by someone whom I can't attack back, so I'm trying to be as poliet as possible.
From now on, any "Derf bitching" posts are getting deleted. Its ruining others enjoyment of the Efed, and is anything BUT productive. Its becoming closely akin to trolling. A friendly note from your Neighborhood G-Mod.

I agree with you both. I don't wish to come here to ruin others fun, I come here to have fun with others. And THIS IS NOT A SHOT AT THE SHOW BEING INCOMPLETE, but until the show is posted, there is little to no traffic, which means no fun. So after this post, unless I am unfairly atacked again, I'm not posting anything in the discussion thread, and even if I am attacked, I plan on being the bigger man and walking away.
Once again, not bitching, just my opinions.
Why can't anyone see that Derf has raised some valid points? I am sick of the bitching that he has had to endure this past week or so. For him to be the focus of all criticism when no one from creative is willing to stand up and take some flak because they are too busy busting on Derf is ridiculous.
For anyone to say that Derf's comments are stopping people enjoying the efed is quite frankly stupid.
I'm not going to rant because I have done that before and nothing has changed. It's pointless. For everything that has improved around here (the rp quality, the show quality etc), this show has just displayed that really, WZCW won't ever get to the standard that it should be.
There is absolutely no excuse for the show and card not to be up and ready by now. I don't know how anyone can not see this as justified criticism.
No doubt this will be perceived as more bitching but I see it as constructive criticism.
Thank you. This is the point I wanted to make. Thank you for agreeing with me, and thank ou for being man enough to stick up for me at the risk of being atacked. I agree with the constructive critisism, thats all I was doing, I wasn't deliberatly making a post to rant. And when you said your not going to rant, thats what made me realize it is pointless. It won't get the show done any faster, so like I already said, no more posts in the discussion thread untill after the show is posted. And I really don't want to be the unfair victim of another attack.
In closing, I'm not bitching here. I simply wanted to repley to some of what was said. I don't like the bitching anymore then you, and I don't like all the personal attacks based at me. So Ricky, I ask this of you, as a regular guy, not as the guy thats been "annoying the e-fed". I'm walking away after this until the show is posted, because there is nothing more that I can do to help. Please don't waste either of our tim in writing a post attacking anything I said here.
