Tarja, Anette, or Floor?

Floor is the only option. She is the best of Tarja, and the best of Anette. I listen to Tarja and Anette's stuff, but if I had the option to switch their voices out for Floor, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

However, these days, I'm leaning more towards Delain, Epica, and Amaranthe... but only because they all released good albums this year. In fact, Amaranthe created a song that is going to be my Wedding (or Funeral) song: "Endlessly" is so amazing.

Yeah, it's pretty good, but I've been hitting recent Epica albums, and absolutely in love, especially the unplugged + retooled versions of their songs on their latest album.

21 god damn inches of snow has fallen here in the past 2 1/2 days, and it's still not done. Looking at 2 feet of snow when it finally finishes.

This has truly been unprecedented. Not the snowfall total, though this is certainly up there in my life time, but they have actually cancelled school 3 days in a row. Normally it takes a literal act of god for them to do that in the winter, or the wind chill has to be around -60.

I've cleared my driveway twice today, and it looks like I haven't done a damn thing already. Got a feeling I'll be late getting to work tomorrow....

Gosh I'd be miserable. In the one or two snow days we get per year I vanish. I'll stick to Texas. It's still barely warm enough to wear a t-shirt with jeans down here right now. We're approaching hoodie weather though. This has been a warm November even for Texan standards.

You're lucky, Milenko. From my understanding it's really hard living in Oregon. I'm glad to hear you've escaped the hard knocks life.

I remember seeing a story on the news once where this guy detailed some of the events that occurred on the mean streets back in 2012. I thank my lucky stars I don't have to deal with this on a daily basis.

"We have chaos. We have anarchy at times in West Linn. There was years when my father didn't even make a-hundred-grand—or barely made a-hundred-grand—and sure we had a maid, but she only came twice a week. What do you think happened the other five days? My cousin moved to Portland a number of years ago. She's uh.... changed rather dramatically.

It's like they live in their own little world out there. They take liberalism to a religious like status. I mean I'm quite socially liberal myself but they don't give one iota of a fuck if their ideals are practical or not.

For my cousin moving to Portland was like a spiritual awakening. Mind you she's like 4 or 5 years older than me and now acts like a 15 year old that just discovered that Ayn Rand is somehow a thing.

Whenever she comes back for holidays or whatever she's such an outcast to her family in her own mind because none of us get "it". I've been on the verge of wrecking her perfect ideal of us being simple country folk several times but choose not too for the sake of peace.

In short, fuck Oregon but Portland in particular. Brainwashed my cousin that I used to talk and hang out with all the time.

I've been following the riots there. Ridiculous stuff. Especially them blocking emergency vehicles. One man reportedly died because the mob wouldn't let an ambulance through.
