WZCW Discussion Thread

Well, the full card for Unscripted hasn't actually been revealed yet, to be fair. As far as I remember, the voting for match stipulations are all posted in one whole bunch, so it will at least be after the next episode of Ascension before they're posted.

I'm excited to see what stipulations people choose.

It doesn't matter what people pick, nobody is taking the tag titles off Cooper and Keaton. :guitar: :guitar:

GotG 2 is happening, it's no secret. I'm pretty sure they start filming soon.

I think he meant about Hulk appearing in it. The rumor was that he would appear on his way to a "Planet Hulk" or "Hulk Vs" type movie, to help boost the numbers for the Guardians. But...we don't know now. It appears we'll see Banner in Ragnarok, at least.

About the only two Marvel based movies that I would like to see would be a Juggernaut Origins and an adaption of the Thanos Infinity Gauntlet story line. Though this Dr Strange movie coming out in a few months might be pretty good.

Juggernaut would not be in the MCU. With Wolverine all but being written out, following his next solo movie, there's a chance they'll do an "origins" series on a different X-Men character. Professor X, if he got one, would be the best place for Juggernaut to creep in.

And, the Thanos story is sort of playing out, within the whole of the MCU...but we shall see where they go with the Infinity Wars movies.

Someone with more comic acumen than myself needs to chime in: How much of a thing is the subatomic universe/quantum realm? 'Cause Ant-Man sold that like hot death. I want much, much more.

You'll probably get an explanation in the Antman and Wasp movie in the next two years.

Only real thing I'm looking forward to about that however is Michael Peña.

I have a huge doubt regarding Ant Man after watching the Civil war movie. In Ant man movie, he shrinks as the distance between his atoms are reduced Which gives him enormous strength for his size. Supposedly, when he enlarges his size in the civil war movie he should be weighing like a paper cup and have strength of a broom stick. It baffles me how he still had that enormous strength in his huge form too? Marvel logic suck. I prefer DC.

Infinity Wars is the basis for the next two Avengers films.

Yes the next Thor film is going to have Planet Hulk influences. Thor & Hulk will fight, I'm fairly sure of that.

All of the elements in Thor 3; Ragnorok, Hel, Thanos are going to play into Guardians 2 then Infinity Wars. There's other factors like Captain Marvel too.

While I get the desire for internal logic, sometimes you need to remember that super powers aren't real and neither are superheroes and as such "new technology that works differently from the Ant Man technology exists and is in the experimental phase" is a perfectly fine explanation.

I'm a physics teacher, and kids often try and ask me to explain inconsistencies in super hero films. I always respond the same way - if you cans suspend your disbelief to the extent that you believe a man can fly/be cryogenically frozen/be half spider etc. then you should be able to accept small inconsistencies.

Clark Kent is a classic example of this - people are absolutely fine with a man who can fly and is invincible, but they can't handle the fact his glasses are a disguise.

I wondered the same thing, but as others have noted, it is a superhero movie, and suspension of disbelief is important.

The DC universe was literally punched to death by Superboy Prime once.
