WZCW Discussion Thread

Amusingly the very early WZCW shows feature an intro referencing legends of wrestling like Sammartino and Hogan. The ban on WWE references must have come fairly quickly though, since it was in effect by the time I joined, but it didn't always exist.

1. That's.... really hard to pronounce.

2. Going by that same example, for me it would be pronounced "zayt-lin". I pronounce Xavier as if it started with a "Z". English was my second language though so it may be due to that.
1. Easy is boring, buddy.

2. Yupp, I too prefer it speaking as Zayt-lyn.

There's a couple reasons why we had that rule put in place (though I'm not sure when or by who).

1. On the super small off chance they'd even bother with it, if we used trademarked names Wrestlezone could be sued over it. I doubt we'd ever see that happen but you can never be too careful. Many other e-feds do allow the use of real wrestlers.

2. It's just plain unimaginative. Create your own character and story, don't ride the coattails of something that's already been done.

Do you remember when it happened? I'm pretty sure it was a thing when we applied back in the day, but it must have been after people like Prax and Enforcer were gone. Lee would probably know.

I believe it happened before either of us joined, so Lee would be the one to know.

Not even a little but but if you understand it and it makes you happy that's all that matters.
It is damn easy, buddy.
Just add each digit of a number until you get an one digit number.
Like today is 22 April 2016 i.e 22-04-2016.
Adding these 8 digits we get 17.
And 1 +7 = 8.

Like how if you do the same thing and the "digital root" as it's called = 9 then it's a multiple of 9. Numbers, man, how the fuck do they work?

Yo Kapu I got space in my PM box now.

Exactly.

Like table of 7 contains every number from 1 to 9.
7
14 (5)
21 (3)
28 (1)
35 (8)
42 (6)
49 (4)
56 (2)
63 (9)

Just got the greatest phone call ever...my MTG shop has been doing really well on tcgplayer....highest number of sales and most $$$ made for both us and tcgplayer. Most shops sell other card games but we just do MTG. Well, tcgplayer called me and asked of I would run the Tcg Mtg states tournament....and the yugioh states championship...big deal...big big deal....

The official line was they were worried about suing etc. We could mention them originally in the trained by section but nothing else. It was pretty early on and was put in by then admin Jonny B.

I think though it was to make it obvious about the efed side of things. Back in the day efedding also involved picking a WWE character who you would rp as OR a unique character. WZCW was just for unique characters. Hence the longevity.
