I had only quoted the post, so you'd see the question and I could get an answer lol I figured it wouldn't be right after the final match, but I think there's a few of us interested in seeing more behind the scenes stuff like Yaz did.

Sad to see FalK and Thriller stepping down, as they've been around here for years, but hopefully this means bigger and brighter things for Eve and elegANT. Thank you, both of you!

Just wanted to drop by and say well done to Creative on KC. Awesome show, every match had that big fight feel you'd expect from the biggest show of the year. SHIT/Barbosa was brutal, Mikey/Matt was a classic and the Cerbs showdown came off really well and each member got some well deserved spotlight.

Also congrats to Zeus, glad to see darkness reign supreme once again.

Speaking of long, my Survivor Series report was about 4000 words. I tend to write my reports with move by move detail. The match without the intros was around 7000.

Mine was 3000 without intros. Lucky for everyone I'm not writing matches anymore. They'd have to be like 500 words to fix my average

So I just posted a new application for a character I thought of in the app thread just now.
I know I've been really wishy washy in the past with leaving a lot but I was just honestly burned out with Derek and Corvus wasn't anything like what I wanted it to turn out as. Hopefully my new friend in the app thread will pan out, if ya'll are willing to have me back.

Damn. I knew I forgot something.

I know that I'm on my last leg (if I get accepted at all) but I really feel like this new character will give me the motivation/new material that I need. I literally thought up of his backstory in like 30 minutes while reading KC last night.

I get that you're hyped man and I truly wish you luck, but ask yourself honestly if the idea has legs. 30 minutes of thinking up a character is not a huge amount of depth and that shallowness will come through. Spend every spare minute you have thinking about who he is, how he thinks and where he wants to be. Put yourself in his shoes and give a little piece of yourself over to the character, something good or something bad give him a trait that comes from your won personality and use that to get into his head.

If you know me then you know how close the character of Jeremiah is to me as a person. I was in the Army, I deployed and I'm basically using my life as a template for him. I'm gonna come out and say that my RP's with Jeremiah are going to be heavily based off of my experiences in the Military and some of the struggles I've had since I've been out. The whole taking 30 minutes just was the time it took for me to come up with the character basics. Everything else is pretty much going to be me with a different name.

Truth of the matter is Derek or Corvus either one worked out because they weren't me. I'm not a big ass bodyguard from Chicago. I'm not an angry vigilante trying to avenge the death of my parents. I'm Michael; a guy that loves pro wrestling that joined the Army when he was 17. Jeremiah's hometown is legit my hometown. He's me and I'm him.

I don't know you, not really so I look forward to the insight. Though wasn't Jacobs a veteran? I mean I know that Corvus was just Sting but veteran with a chip on his shoulder sounds a lot like DJ to me.
