Something incredibly creepy and scary happened just now.

I've been watching a lot of Five Nights At Freddy's recently, and one of the characters is a fox that tries to kill you. I've been doing this at my parents house while I was staying with them for a few days.

Anyway, I came back to my dorm today and my room appeared to be just as it was left before I left (messy bed, and CD's on the floor), and the door was still locked, pretty much guaranteeing no one had got in. About 30 minutes ago, I decided to make myself a cuppa with my kettle in my room and went into my cupboard to get a mug out. What I found was a mug I had never seen before in my life...one with a fox on it.

I have no idea how it got into my room but I'm pretty disturbed by it.

Can't have been a prank. Even if someone did get in, I don't think they would have known I've been watching that particular game this week. I have spoken to friends, but not about gaming.

Made my first 5th edition character today:

Zard, a chaotic good Dragonborn Paladin of Thor.

I've never played a Dragonborn before and they added Norse deities so I could not resist making him follow Thor. I've always been fascinated by Norse mythology. No action yet, the whole evening went toward character creation which can take hours. The Monster Manual and DM Book aren't even out yet, but our DM wanted to see what it will be like in advance. Should be fun. The other handbooks come out this fall so we'll play soon either way. On top of the 3rd edition campaigns we were already running.

Next week should be pretty fun. Going to a Redsox game, adding another football stadium to the list of ones I've seen and going to a WWE show.

So I figured out the answer to the phantom fox mug.

Before I left for my dorm, my mother slipped a gift into my mug box as I was running a little low. When I was unpacking my stuff, I didn't take the mugs out of my box, as I was pre-occupied with getting it over with. My mother never told me that she gave it to me, as she wanted to surprise me.

She sure as hell fucking did.
