WZCW Discussion Thread

Having a nostalgia run through Dragon Quest 3 again. I keep coming back the oldschool stuff no matter how much I try to force myself to get through the half a dozen Wii games I never finished.

Does anyone want to take a look at my RP before I post it? I have to leave for work shortly but I'd be able to look over yours too on my break which will be in about 6 hours from when this was posted.

Does anyone else here plan their RP's in a certain way? Before I took a break, I used to heavily plan and get the first 3 or so paragraphs down, and then leave it for a while. I'd then finish it off within the final 2 days with the emergence boost I'd get.

I outline all of mine. The whole cycle if possible is broken down by round on what I want to write about minus who my opponent is. Then break that further down into ideas to turn into dialogue/happenings, then when time permits I put on some Dragonforce or 80's hair metal or Eminem (whatever I am in the mood for) and type. I PM myself the draft keeping the unwritten part in outline form until it's done. Been doing it this way pretty much since All-stars.

I listen to a range of music when I'm doing mine, but nothing too uplifting or bombastic just so I don't get distracted from what I'm trying to do.

I've pretty much written everything today because of medication side effects, so my RP is going to be shorter than usual. It works though in context.

I've had a vast range of ways to try to figure out how to write mine. Listening to music, making an outline of what I want to put into it, asking other people for feedback are some of the things I've done.

Strangely enough I've found that my biggest success has came from me just sitting down in front of my computer and just writing.

I just turn on country music, mute or turn off the TV and write. Pop music works as well but I have barely any of that on my iPod.

Don't worry, I can translate for the creative team.

Between M's and Bruce's RP's, I think you two conquered the Australian vocabulary.

My personal favourite was the Pugwall joke, not sure if that aired in the states.
