For what it's worth, I thought that was one of the best RP's ever.

Yeah, I was stunned when I heard that result.

But you knew that, because I pm'ed you inmediately, assuming you took a storyline loss.

Also, Titus, I'll get you feedback, along with YJ and Stormrage. I figured that it would be best to get you three together. I just don't want to tip my hand as to where I voted for either match... Yet.

Edit: I also owe Theron

Hardly fair. If storyline dictates there's someone who shouldn't take the pin if they have the worst rp then they shouldn't be in the match.

There are numerous variables on who takes the fall. A loss is a loss whether I get pinned or not. But I'm not going to argue with you about semantics of taking a loss in a tag match as everyone has done it their own way. I was referring specifically to a tag team match only in regards to Numbers comment on Winter's comment.

I gotta say though, those three guys who closed out Meltdown. I see big things for them. Can't wait to see when they'll strike next :)

Overrated, to be honest....

It's in the rules and guidelines that sometimes someone has to take the pin for storyline purposes. That's how it's always been.

Yeah but it was always the case that the person taking the pin in the match would be told that it would be for storyline purposes.

I don't think Blade said it correctly. You are completely correct that if someone was going to lose via storyline purposes, they would need to be notified first and then work out with creative about how to do the finish.

However, if the team/an opponent lost by votes alone, then sometimes the way the storyline has played out deduces that a certain member of that team/match would take the fall instead of the weakest RP.

There are also other factors such as protecting the champion, flow of the match, requesting to be pinned, etc. that contribute to who takes the fall.

Most people associate taking the fall means they had the weakest RP but in some cases, it doesn't. If there is a problem, creative should inform whoever is inquiring (as long as it is appropriate) that the loss was done for reasons other than having the weakest RP.

-------------------------------

That should cover everything without any confusion.

A fairly good and recent example was Cerberus vs. Jon/Eve. When Corvus dipped, Eve was entered in, however we lost because Corvus dipped. But I was pinned after foul play because Eve was debuting and to make the loss not clean so Jon looked good.

So my fucking chair decided to collapse which means I've got to pester Uni in the morning to get a new one.

Not to mention I was sitting on it, and I've pulled a muscle in my arm quite badly.

Woe is me.

Maybe if your skinny ass wasn't so fat, things like this wouldn't happen.

Just quick updates, all matches are in, so we are just working out segments for Ascension.

Kermit, I will give the podcast a listen once I wrap the show up.

And to all those who PMed me over the sig, I appreciate it. I'll get back to after the show, but rep and feedback are coming to all of you regardless of the sig I end up liking best.
