It's not even because the games are inherently bad, it's just because I hate either the ideas of them or they've done bad things to the gaming industry.

The Virtua Fighter games, Angry Birds, Candy Crush and Flappy Bird spring to mind. Virtua Fighter for different reasons than you might think.

I won't play Candy Crush ever again.

I won't play "moral games" such as inFamous because the morality choices are so weak and straight forward.

RPGs with morality in it? Yeah, I'll still play those, but not Action-Adventure ones.

So games like Elder Scrolls and Fallout are a grey area then?

That's more of a game flaw critique though, as opposed to actually disliking a game. Virtua Fighter is an OK game, but it's a really long story as to why I hate it.

No, Oblivion was something I liked a lot, barely touched Fallout (though I enjoy what I know of the games). I can't say I just dislike a game just to dislike it.

Well, no, that's not fully true. I won't give the 50 Cent games the time of day in a million years and I've never touched them in the least.

Wow.

You hate a game more than I've ever hated a person I think. :lmao:

Hate's a strong word. A certain speech by Kefka comes to mind.... I'm just very opinionated and vocal in my dislikes of things. I wouldn't stay I hate FF2J. It's one of the worst RPG's I have ever played though, certainly a candidate for the worst.

I used to live in St Louis.... I was equally miserable if not more during the winters I lived there, due to the snow and ice. It's a rarity down here thankfully.

I'm actually from the Illinois side of St. Louis. The issue with winters there is that it doesn't really snow, it gets icy. The summers are so rough though. All you have to do is say it's 95 and you'll have the temperature and the humidity covered.

If you want crazy weather then come to Winnipeg. Can get up to +40C in the summer and -50C in the winter.

"Colder than Mars" That was the headline in Winnipeg one day this winter. Third worst winter in over 100 years. I think in 3 months (Dec-Feb) we had 72 days where it was -30 or colder, maybe more. I recommend nobody come here during the winter.

Winnipeg is a short trek from where I am good sir, North Dakota is the same way only switch the temps to Fahrenheit and do the conversion.

MINUS FIFTY??? Dude!
What?
WHAT?
Shit!
Man... How do you survive?

Also, would it be +40 and -50 in the same year?

You're used to it when you live up here. It's not -50 every day, -50 would be one of the coldest days of the year with windchill. I was just showing how extreme the difference is, it's why we have some of the worst roads in the world. On New Years Eve for instance it was -49.3C with the windchill and in the summer I've worked a day where it was +49 with the humidity. I hate really hot weather, +15C with overcast the rest of my life would be a dream.

The thing is, when the guys talk about extreme temperatures on here, I don't usually take note, because I'm all tuckered out from converting miles to kilometres, dollars/pounds to rands, etc. ;)

I know it won't be -50* every day, obviously :p That is some impressive range, though. This is fascinating to me.

It will likely be on me. I had to run my snowblower for over 2 hours to dig my driveway out so the stepdaughter could go to work tonight. I'm a little exhausted at the moment.

Will there be opportunities to guest write here shortly with AF dead?

Absolutely. AF isn't dead and gone for good. When I decided we needed a third show AF was to be on a as needed basis. This week we didn't need it but we certainly can arrange the cards next week so we have AF, as well as just giving some Creative members a break from writing multiple matches.
