That was a very exciting Meltdown, gents. It had a great flow throughout the show and no segment was left as filler. If anything, every segment held great importance and/or built upon the angles for the show. The opening was a nice touch for a regular show & gave MD something fresh. Personally, I felt Howard/Stormrage during the ending was pushed aside too quickly for Runn/Barbosa (i.e. it needed a bit more description for their brawl) but what was there did the job perfectly so I'm not going to register this as a formal complaint.

This is exactly what I expect from the flagship show. Excellent job - at least a B+ show... at least.

The beauty of Howard and Stormrage being on separate shows is it gives us more time to beat each other up.

Wow, what a show guys. Easily the best show that this new creative team has done. Mark out moment goes to Strikeforce "reuniting" that was just awesome. Nothing negative to say about the show really. Agree with FalK that even the segments didn't feel like filler as they all had a purpose.

Praise and applause creative, well done.

My only negative about the show was the failure to use the World Champion's defeat to advance storylines. Surely Ricky Runn and his Swaggers or at a stretch failed Howard or SHIT help should have been responsible for Barbosa's defeat rather than him losing control of his anger (something that is somewhat out of character).

It is one of my few pet peeves in the fed that it seems when someone wins the vote, Creative go out of their way to give than a clean victory. Why exactly? In his current heel/unknown alignment incarnation, any kind of win would have done Mikey, especially over the champion. Ricky Runn vs Barbosa is in desperate need of some depth and the Swag Gang costing Barbosa a match he was booked to lose just seems like an easy opportunity missed

Agreed, a clean loss hurts the PPV build. Apocalypse would benefit from another weeks build I think, it just seems to be too soon.

I agree on the heel victory thing, dirty wins are kinda far and few between. The last time I think one happened was Holmes World title win. Runn/Barbosa also should have had interaction all three rounds instead of two.

That being said everything else seems fine save for what might happen to the tag titles, creative has had a lot of hurdles this cycle so I'll cut them slack. Let's get through Apocalypse and then take said suggestions into consideration.

I think its a matter of disrespect for Ricky Runn. He won the Gold Rush tournament, something that's a big deal. There should have been a bigger build up to the match. If it was Blade or a "bigger" name I feel like it would have gotten a bigger feud. It feels very forced and rushed when Ricky deserves more considering what he accomplished to get the match. It doesn't have a big match feel the way it should.

This has been a strange cycle. I really don't know what to make of it.

I take it if Grizzly Bob beats me then S.H.I.T vs Baez is still awn for Apocalypse? I know Bear Hug isn't confident, but I liked his RP and take nothing for granted.

Did I do something to piss you off?

You're a classy champ, but I'm not even entertaining the idea of winning that match.

Just finished showing my sister some of the fed. She really likes Zeus and his RP's.
Little Radiation has good taste. She's a smark, no doubt, but she's got damn fine taste.

I can see the fangirl base for Zeus happening.
He's such a bad boy!
But I think I can change him!
He's so clever, too!
Oh my guard! And his way with words!
He's just so heartbroken about his wife!
