WZCW Discussion Thread

I've beaten Ricky twice and I love Pancake like a son, but the idea of a Strikeforce match was getting me hard. I shall have my revenge one day.

Good to see Morse and Lewis are at work once more. Feckin' Saboteur though, eh? What an utter bastard. Oh, and yes, tune in to listen to the great podcast collision this side of Ric Flair and Steve Austin (though a whole lot more British) on Thursday evening!

Definitely. I see a lot of Creative are stepping away from the World Championship scene now. Probably a knee jerk reaction to having 2 Creative Members and 1 long serving former Creative member in the main event of Kingdom Come. Still, it's refreshing.

Any update on how long it will take for Aftershock to go up? I'm deliberating whether to stay up for it or not. After Ascension, things are really shaping up nicely.

Earlier they mentioned it not being close to done. Also, I'm fairly sure neither of us won our match so there's not much to be looking forward to there.

Yeah but at the end of Ascension FalK said it would be up later...

Yeah, I get that. My money is on Corvus frankly. Still, it'll be good to see who eliminates Adams and where my RP goes from there.

A lot, lot, closer. One match and a couple segments is all we need. The segments can be for sure done in the next hour or two. It is the match that is up in the air.

Welp, I had a funny feeling the loss was coming. Really did enjoy Tastic's RP this week, glad he got the victory. But now this does free up for something else, which had me just as excited.

This also taught me something you should all take note

There will be no more filler

Damn. You guys really think this RP was that much better than the stuff I did with Derek? I'm really flattered by that.

I honestly did not see Zeus losing. Not that I expected Tastic to roll over, but I had him as one of my favorites to win the whole thing. I think I'm not the only one who didn't have their bracket busted.

Beating James was huge for me. It was a real test for me to see if I can write as a heel and as I can tell it worked. If I lose in round two I could leave the tournament with my head held high.

Your Corvus RP was better than literally anything you did as DJ.

I think my biggest problem with Derek was, and I mean this in no way as an insult to Thriller and Numbers, but I think that Derek would be better as a simple character (like I intended to make him in the beginning) but I never really tried to develop that character. With Corvus I had a chance to introduce someone in the fed the right way, and I think I've done that.

I don't think I'm breaking news in saying Tastic wanted it more than I did. He churned out something excellent, and I churned out something subpar.

Besides that, the Zeus character has a direction where it didn't really need the tournament. It would have been nice, but Sandy being the focal point wasn't an accident.

Though, I didn't take a storyline loss; I was in it to win it. And if something great came along, I was happy to tip my hat

If Ricky Runn picks up twerking, the heel heat will be immense

I look forward to what Phatso can do with his new character. The things we discussed would allow him to take a lighter approach with the character while still exploring some pretty real emotions.

Very happy to see Garth Black return, though I feel it should have been bigger.

Very happy to see Saboteur pick up the victory, though I don't get why the crowd chanted for Saxton seeing as he's in China. Felt it took away from Saboteur's huge win, really.
