I had written a response to JJJ but I can't be arsed to post it. It drags in too many people and would be as destructive as any of the 'shoots' we've seen and it benefits no-one.

I'm pissed at the circumstances around Kingdom Come for many, many reasons but publicly is not the place to vent it and it won't change a fucking thing.

Also Chael Sonnen is the worst thing to happen to MMA full stop. If he could fight he'd be MMA's Ali, but he can't so he just looks like a loud-mouthed chuckle-fuck.

I put the blame for KC squarely on my shoulders. I thought that you and Mikey did a good job with your RP's, and mine sucked a lot. Yeah, I was taking care of some personal stuff, but I still should have done better.

Wargames stole the show, though. That's the good thing to come out of it.

Yes, but you're the only one making giant, sweeping statements like, "They lost this one match, therefore they failed."

None of that is anything other than speculation. In the end it was STA that won the match and they won it with only one vote going against them.

If Strikeforce was the better team they should have won. They didn't though so I have a hard time calling them the better team. We had the chance to see who was the best and STA came out with the victory. They won and I don't see any reason to try and take that victory from them.

No, it's not speculation, I saw the votes and the discussion surrounding it.

And I wouldn't call Strikeforce the better team, nor did I ever say that they were. I was merely stating that the TSA victory was not a sure thing as you seem so keen to imply.

Not quite sure. Speaking for myself, my stuff for AF will be done at a decent time tonight (central time), but as of now I am at work and only able to get on my mobile for the next few hours until I get off. Other than that, I think AF is still rather bare. For AS, I believe the last match is up in the dump thread, but the show still needs a good looking over by someone else with mod powers.

Shows are probably going to be a day or two late leading to boards getting up later which leads to people asking for extensions or abusing of soft extensions which lead to later shows and the cycle starts all over again.

I agree with whoever said it... Wargames stole the show at KC. Whomever was favorited going into the show is irrelevant. Anyone can beat anyone, any day. We were not a guaranteed win. I was getting out rped and still adjusting (still am). I was hoping for a win, I was expecting to lose. I just wanted to make sure I played my hand and everyone else did as well...


What I never expected was for it to come down to just DC vs Strikeforce, and he would beat them both solo...

And I would promptly shit that momentum away in two weeks time...

Congrats to Ricky, honestly I'm glad he won especially since I've been dying to feud with Kermit for months. But also his new heel character works really goddamn well - when I read his RP I turned into Machiavelli sorting out Howard's direction for the near future.

Also some MAJOR scalps have fallen in the tournament. Should make for a great Podcast
