At least Linkin Park is excellent live - they know how to perform and get the crowd going. Well, they should know considering how long they've been playing but still, you will get your money's worth if you see them play.

The only "good" rock band that I can think of from Ireland that I listen to would be The Cranberries.

Nobody likes the Cranberries.

But really, all the good Irish music comes from the North. Ash, Fighting with Wire, Snow Patrol's first couple of albums, a couple of Therapy? albums.

I liked Linkin Park's first album, and like half their second. Anything past that except for a song or two on Reanimation can go die in a fire.

I can understand dislike for Minutes To Midnight. It's overall their worst album. I love "What I've Done" but the album is nothing to write home about otherwise. A Thousand Suns was weird. I don't hate it, but it too is lower quality than what they are capable of. "Burning In the Skies" & "Wretches and Kings" are good. However, if you have not yet then I highly recommend the entire Living Things album. It was absolutely brilliant.

I never claimed to be a huge Linkin Park fan. But, after suffering an extended amount of time dealing with anxiety issues and never finding enough motivation to do anything with my life... I stumbled in drunk from a party and that music video came on for "Waiting for the End". If everybody had a song that spoke to them... That song is mine. It very effectively depicts my feelings, and I turned my life around with that song as motivation.
