There's not really anything to send! I've got ideas, ran through some the other day with Bear, I just can't bring myself to writing them down.

I can help with the latter, but I get totally distracted in my RPs. I would be no help with the former

I know exactly what I have to write - my entire RP is my head and I could perform the scene physically but when it comes me to put fingers to keyboard, I get distracted.

Mickie James acting out your RP would be very entertaining. I imagine it'd get you all the votes every round too.

Seems like I hit a sore spot. I don't watch football, so it's holds no importance to me. But that's pretty much the reaction I have when people tell me that racing isn't a sport, or isn't dangerous.

Considering people blow their cars the fuck up in racing, you'd have to be pretty stupid to say it's not dangerous.

I know the point you are making but maybe they should just teach their guys to show restraint y'know. Also they clearly don't care about their bodies or they wouldn't go throwing themselves at other guys heads and necks.

American Footballers need armour because a lot of professional players are apparently too stupid to realise that slamming their shoulder into someone's neck could do serious injury. In rugby tackling above the waist is not possible.

NFL running backs likely have the strongest legs in sports. Unless you manage to get both your arms wrapped around both their thighs, a taller task than we give them credit for, a leg tackle isn't the guarantee down you're making it out to be.

I will concede that some of the hits leveled in the NFL are way more brutal than called for, but this is just the culture of the sport. Guys want to be known as the hardest hitter, or the one that knocks a guy out of the game for a couple plays because he took him down with so much force.

Saying that NFL players are needlessly reckless with their hits just shows a misunderstanding of how the game works. It's similar to when Americans complain about stalling or diving in soccer. Yeah, it's kind of annoying, but it's part of the game.
