WZCW Discussion Thread

My RP is, in fact, done, and is getting a lookover right now. It's been done for a bit, actually, so don't worry. Woohoo.

Oh wait, the deadline's actually tomorrow? Haha, time to save my proofreading for tomorrow.

I know exactly what I have to write - my entire RP is my head and I could perform the scene physically but when it comes me to put fingers to keyboard, I get distracted.

Anyone want to read over my roleplay? I've been reading it and editing it for about the last hour. Just want another set of eyes, to check and see if it flows well. You'll get feedback for this

Kevin Rudd with the sneak attack! This is one of the craziest things ever! Bullshit because it's holding up the football but it's rather interesting.

Anything is better than Julia but the Liberals are going to secure the votes come election. I'm going to give up on Australia entirely if Labor when the next election.

Coalition is going to win and I doubt it'll be much of a fight from the Labor Party. One of the better revenge attacks in Australian politics though.

From what I see as an outsider, Australian politics is too cutthroat for its own good - replacing party leaders on a whim all too often.

Australian Labor Party has been doing it for decades. They still don't understand why the Coalition holds office for so long.

Apart from their terrible financial management, leader changing is what kills them. We were in so much surplus in 2007 and in a year, we go in debt. I hate the labor party with a passion.

The thing I hate about southern hemisphere

Sonny Bill went and changed the game.

Sonny Bill went and changed the game.

His off-loading in the tackle is perfectly welcome in Rugby Union.

It is the refereeing interpretation of the laws like that of Chris Pollock that is attempting to ruin it. Is it any wonder that Super 12 games are usually cricket scores if the defending team is not allowed to challenge for the ball on the ground at all?

It is essentially saying that you are not getting the ball back until the opposition score or make a mistake rather than you getting it back through your own aggressive defence.

Chris Pollock's an idiot, but the ruck's been a complete mess for years now. Best way to get the ball is to tackle it out of the opposition's hands.

Biggest mistake was that bullcrap about the tackler not competing for the ball. Neutralizes the McCaw's, Pocock's and Brussow's. What makes the first two better is that they adapted better to the changes.

Pollock was completely useless. Not only does he have an interpretation of the rules that seems completely at odds with the spirit of the Union Code (he gave at least 4 pens against the Lions for not only competing for the ball but winning it fairly), he was also horrendously inconsistent when it came to penalising the Wallabies for diving over the top, coming in from the side and killing the ball. The penalty he gave that lead to the first Aussie try should have gone the other way while how there wasn't a sin binning in the first half for killing the ball on the Aussie line was a disgrace.

Is it any wonder that Northern Hemisphere teams continually complain about being refereed off the park when touring Down Under?

The ruck has not been a mess in the Northern Hemisphere at all. It has actually been at the forefront of rugby (along with the rediscovering of the Choke tackle) up here for several years. It is because of that that the Lions almost have an embarrassment of riches in the back row. If anything, it is the scum that is the real mess in Rugby Union at the moment - so many things wrong with it.

And actually the whole "tackler not challenging for the ball" has not been a big change in the game. Technically, the tackler was never allowed to do so until he got to his feet (which means he is no longer the tackler). If anything, that law was just enforcing something that I had to do when I was playing rugby at school 15 years ago.

Fuck Rugby, writing fake scripts for a fake show which copies a fake medium of entertainment is where it's at!
