Yeah the lack of an opening is just weird especially as the first offers it ready made. The lack of any aftermath from Strikeforce vs TSA is a bit galling. Though I did like the segments from both teams.

Can one of creative tell me if there are openings in place for AS or AF?

Yeah obviously the show takes a massive dip in quality when the same people aren't opening the same shows saying basically the same thing every round. I demand we get those half hour Holmes and Cougar promos ASAP.

Yeah, I screwed up a little. I woke up an hour ago and immediately checked out Meltdown, 'cause I'm cool like that, but only say the preview afterwards... Very fun to read. "That No Active" wrestling company? Genius :)

Well then you should be looking forward to Ascension tomorrow!

I wrote a pretty kickass segment that could have been used for the opening, but I guess we decided to go a different way. I'll agree that it did feel kind of awkward, but it was by no means bad.

I'm ignoring Dynamite.

When I saw who came out first, I had high hopes for a verbal battle before the match. I thought that was the issue, the match would have been better for it.

That being said, whoever wrote the individual segments nailed it. DC in particular.

Exactly, i'm kind of excited to see who this new person might be. They better get their shit together.

Hey, I saw Ty Burna at that Meltdown show, too! #conspiracy #DrakeCallahan

Also...the opening was fine. Great, even. I thought there were actually more segments than usual.

Also also...did Krypto jizz into the fake Power Glove? Or are we telling PR to say it's dishwashing liquid?

I'd like to think that I helped Kermit develop the character he has today with my harsh words of last year. You're welcome and congratulations on the success.

I felt it was refreshing from the same old opening/match/segment/match/segment routine. If you want to stand as an anti-creative guy, just say I was lazy.

I like the fact that the show opened with a match, that's how it works sometimes.

It'd've been nice to see a verbal confrontation between Strikeforce and TSA but I'd imagine that will happen either later this week or on the next set of shows. To be honest I'm just glad that Strikeforce got to open Meltdown before they finished.

No problem at all with the lack of an opening segment promo. It is good to mix things up.

Also very nice to see a sighting of Monster Barbosa on top of his silliness. The only thing I would change is Manic's repeated use of the singular. Barbosa refers to himself in the collective - "we," "us" and "our." But not a big deal and he has been left with plenty of options going forward.

Liked SHIT's automatic stomping after Kravinoff too.

IIRC, Team Strikeforce v Team TSA could still end up as a ten-man tag match... it wouldn't be wise to spill all the good stuff before the climax. Oh, wait...

The lack of a traditional opening was just us trying something new.

I liked it.

I have made this point before, sometimes the promo's from the straighter characters fall a bit flat for me, length does have something to do with it usually.

I think of Chris K.O as the feds true super-villian now, and yes it is all your fault.

Think it was the first time S.H.I.T's ever engaged in a battle of words with another character. Quite amusing. I also liked the fact that we don't know what has become of S.H.I.T and Kravinoff. Oh and Barbosa's dominance, I very much enjoyed that.

Alhazred and Krypto just gets more disgusting every round, good work fellows.

What are you talking about? Meltdown sucked, who the hell does creative think they are opening up with a wrestling match on a wrestling show? Seriously fuck those guys right Numbers?

Wow you've taken extra dumbass pills today. Go lie down, extract some alien juice and chill out.

I don't see a problem with what I said. I thought opening with a match was fine. Going straight into it fell a little flat because it felt tacked on. I think a tad more attention before or after the match would have been all that was needed.

Compared to what I've seen some people say here, this is positively tame.
