Is no one helping you put the shows together? It shouldn't be just you that puts it all together.

Looking forward to the shows, but I do find the deadline thing to be really suspect, and if you're having this much trouble putting the shows together all the time, shouldn't it be time to look for maybe some additional help? New creative member who could just put everything together and get it up on time? Something like that?

I understand frustration with shows being late, but how often do the people who consistently complain volunteer to help?
Me too but get over it. Nobody could be doing a better job than we are right now. And the bit in bold is news to me but nobody seems to be telling us anything.
I've been at work all day, had my stuff in yesterday (two matches, multiple segments). If everyone had been able to put in the same effort, we wouldn't have this problem. I would have started the show thread yesterday but we had more missing than we had in. It's becoming the same issue week in week out.
What I will say is; we are one man down (Funkay needed the week off), I thought we had his absence covered, clearly not.
Falkon has been working his ass off and is willing to to hold up his match (the MD 8 man tag) in order to make it fit in the show absolutely perfect. I'm trusting his judgement because he has never given me reason to doubt his call on something like this.
I'm thinking about a new creative member but to be honest, I'm more concerned about the efforts about the ones we have.
And I love how a deadline issue has come up from absolutely nowhere. A week, six days is normal for RPs and will continue to be the case. I've raised the issue within staff about our consistency and was assured that we would improve. Clearly we haven't. But I'm not going to change things in the middle of a cycle, that includes new staff members. Getting a PPV together will be easier for us so I have to trust we can at least hit that mark before any major changes get made. Luckily we have Christmas and New Year to work on the issues during the AoN cycle. I'm going to look at what I can do for AS now but I have a feeling Falkon is in control of it.
What I will say re: Unscripted is that if it is late then I will personally have a great reason to take blame for it. A screaming newborn pain in my ass.

Yeah, I'm not working on the shows this week so in part the delay is likely down to my needing the round off from creative (it was on fairly short notice too). What I can tell you from what I can see is that the shows are looking sweet and should be up back-to-back.

At the end of the day, if the shows are late, then they're late, and most of the time it can't be helped due to real-life issues and time differences. Yes, it does seem to happen quite often, and yes it can be a little annoying, but it's not as if creative are sitting there saying 'Fuck it, leave it till tomorrow.' It's not the end of the fucking world...

I kind of am but it's only because no one but Falkon is going to write this match. But we can try and deal with AS. I've been doing my bit. Show is at work but I know he is trying to do something.

Is it our job to volunteer? And for your information, I've already volunteered you and Doc, so my hands are clean on this one.
Usually we have 10+ days, but this week we only had a week. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with shorter deadlines, but it would be nice if you guys followed suit.
Oh, and if you're going to tell me to get over it, maybe don't be late every single week. I wouldn't have brought it up if this wasn't so damn consistent.
I think all you need is a few semi-creative members that will help write matches, but not necessarily vote on them. I'd gladly volunteer for that position and bring the consistency of my RP posting to the shows.

And yes, we know it's been a while since the shows were up on time. We are really trying to fix the issues, but as I said, my late request for time off as well as some other issues is causing the delays. We'll no doubt do our upmost to fix the problem as we have been trying to since this issue began. We can't promise anything, but we are trying.

I understand that you guys are trying to work on it, and I realize that I'm giving you guys shit for a problem you're trying to correct. I just want to try to keep discourse open regarding how to fix the problem. If creative can't do it, perhaps there's something we regulars can suggest that you all haven't thought of.

I see your point but who cares!? It's never any more than a few days and if you can't find something else to occupy your time, and this goes for everyone else, then I really feel sorry for you.

I plan my fucking schedule around those shows, thats right, every fucking Tuesday I sit down in front of my computer knowing full well its only going to be another 12 hours before Meltdown is up.
