Now those are my thoughts on the matter, but to be fair, WZCW brass really hasn't given their reasons for keeping Califa Dragon's origins a secret. I think the RP'ers deserve to know why Califa Dragon is being kept a secret (and hopefully you can protect the actual secret in doing so) so that we can understand the nature of why we're being given so little information about the character.

I see it pretty simple. It's a long gone RP'er who wants to shock us. It could be Ty. Which I doubt because he's always been so straight forward with us. Or it could be someone we didn't expect to come back. Michigan, Blade, Coco, Gelgarin, Pimpin, Phoenix or it's just Numbers doing 2 RP's. Or it's FalKon brainwashed by some magic pony stuff and not realizing it.

I don't really consider the RP'er's identity for Califa as something that important. His character became very clear very quick.

I don't know. The consistent visits to this thread without a single howdy or hello for months and Califa's rap theme tell me otherwise.

It is actually getting pretty entertaining. We are going all Murder on the Orient Express (MMMystery on the Friendship Express if you are FalKon or myself) on each other making accusations. Some make sense, others are totally baseless.

It's not Ty under a mask, look at the roster pages and the characters. I believe they are pretty much completely different. We forgot the roster page and its ridiculous to think anyone has gained or lost something in the two matches that the character has been around. I thought you were better than that.

Seemed fine to me until people started freaking out about the character for some reason. Look, does the name of the RPer really matter? I've never cared about who my RPing opponenet was. I care about the character I am facing.

I guess I just don't see the point if it's a new character from a returning guy, unless there's someone actually under the mask in kayfabe.

Yes, yes it does. Like I said before, we both RP against one another and we RP together, and by keeping the RP'er secret you cause a rift in the community.

I understand why you want everyone to just chill out. To be honest with you, I'm kind of surprised that everyone is so up in arms about it as well, but I think that fault lies mostly on Ty after his rather harsh reaction to being fingered as Dragon and not with creative or the general public.

So yes, I understand why you want everyone to chill out and enjoy this angle, but it's a stupid angle and it's causing more harm than good and I think it's time to end it.

The only harm that I've seen done has been you getting mad about it and Ty getting mad of the accusations. Neither of which hinders an RP'ers performance against him. Last I checked how a character acts tends to play minimal roles on your RP's and an RP'ers identity does even less on any RP so I fail to see the point of complaining about it. RPing against a mystery opponent is nothing out of this world and knowing the writer or not is not going to change much of anything.

Someone guesses
Someone else guesses
Ty gets annoyed
Creative gets annoyed that we're guessing
People get annoyed at creative for getting annoyed
Creative get annoyed at the people getting annoyed at creative for getting annoyed.

It's a stupid circle.

I'm just upset that the people who started guessing got reprimanded by Ty and creative. Ty's little guilt trip was especially eye roll inducing.

Actually it did give an advantage as the RPer had nothing to work with. What's the gimmick? Where are they from? What moves do they do? What size are they?

First port of call in an RP against a new opponent is their Roster page.

There's no hard evidence, but it's looking more and more like you every day. Either creative got really clever and tried to fool us all, or it's just not the best kept secret around.
