I like Flogging Molly and Black Flag. And of course early pioneers the Sex Pistols. Even Darkthrone is more of a punk band nowadays.

I do enjoy Flogging Molly, but I can't say I'm much of a fan of Black Flag or Sex Pistols. As far as early Punk rock goes I'm into The Ramones and The Clash. My favorite punk bands are far and away NoFX and Bad Religion, though. Anti-Flag deserves an honorable mention as well as Social Distortion, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Misfits, and Lagwagon.

What punk bands do you listen to?

Oh really? So you like country then? And classical? And Japanese Pop? You literally like everything?
Cash, Twitty, Vivaldi, Chopin, Polysics and Puffy Ami Yumi are all in my iTunes library; I also have a decent collection of music in general on there that I have a separate hard drive just for music. I will listen to anything once and if I like it ill keep it. If not I won't.

I won't pretend to love EVERYTHING but I'll give anything a chance and musically I'd consider myself to e very open minded.

And don't forget... Green Day :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And I can name some J Pop artists that I like.

What punk bands do you listen to?

Crass
Dropkick Murphys
Misfits
Against Me!
Anti-Flag
Bad Brains
Bad Religion
Caustic Christ
Consumed
Dead Kennedys
Disrupt
Dystopia
Flogging Molly
From Ashes Rise
Gorilla Biscuits
I Against I
Leftover Crack
The Locust
Nausea
NOFX
Pg. 99 - More screamo then anything but they do have punk elements.
Pixies
R.A.M.B.O.
Sex Pistols
The Ramones
Shai Hulud
Toxic Narcotic
Vitamin X

That should about cover it. I started naming off the top of my head before turning to my collection and going alphabetically. Some are more hardcore or crust but I'm not going to deviate between the different subgenres of punk because I'll be here all day trying to sort it out.

Sad thing is I probably have about vinyls of 30 other bands that I can't recall right now. A lot of lesser known bands as well.

Techno is my second favorite genre. And it's all encompassing. I like everything from Industrial to Gothic, to House and Trance, to cheesy 80's techno, to early 90's Dance. I also like Dubstep and modern pop like David Guetta.

You should listen to my radio show.

You should also periodically send me suggestions of what to look into and play in the form of artist names, albums, and youtube videos.

Have you heard mind.in.a.box's album Crossroads? Released in 2007, one of the best albums ever if you ask me. mind.in.a.box is so awesome, they really defy classification.

Oh yeah, new Matthew Dear album was released recently as well. Beams. SO GOOD. It's like a combination of Dr. Steel and Neon Indian.

My taste in music is rather eclectic and I use that term in its truest form as my musical taste actually is eclectic not as a cover for my musical tastes being shit.

....

I don't believe you.

With the list you have provided, I wouldn't believe you either.

Fair enough but I do listen to all those different genres. Not on equal terms mind you, but I'll bounce back and forth between them. A majority of my music is hop hop but I will go out and find random artists with unique styles and add them to the collection. Hell I listened to Opera Metal before the influx of folk and symphonic metal bands began. Just think of a classically trained Opera singer delivering high notes over heavy guitar riffs and drum blast beats. Definitely an interesting mix.

Believe it or not, I listened to something similar recently. It had the added strangeness of having a voice-over by Christopher Lee and being about the Holy Roman Emperor, Charlemagne.

I'll have to listen to them. You have a podcast on ITunes right?

I have a somewhat odd request. Is there anyone on the lower end of the card who might be willing to be attacked in my upcoming RP? Your gracious willingness to be used as a punching bag would be rewarded generously with gifts of rep, feedback, and my undying love and devotion.
